Project Overview
Gravity of the heart is a Magical Girl horror series that is Inspired by horror animes and shows like Madoka Magica, and Precure,
The story mostly follows the story of a girl named Airi, that after losing her childhood best friend, she one day encounters mysterious ferrets can grant any wish for her,
When she meets a new boy that transferred into the school she wishes to protect him, and her friends at all cost,
Which she becomes a magical girl.
At first it’s all fun and games…
Until she meets the witches…….
This is just a fun little gacha series story I want to do, the story won’t make sense so bare with me.
Voice Actor
Age: 16
Role: Main protagonist
Voice direction: Bright and expressive normally, warm and sincere with friends, but capable of becoming shaky and emotional when her fears surface. She shouldn’t sound constantly sad—the contrast makes her darker moments hit harder.
“Okay, okay, I know we’re supposed to be studying, but tell me you don’t think this is the cutest thing you’ve ever seen!”
“I’m scared too! But if we run away every time we’re scared, then who’s going to help the people who can’t run?”
“I can’t do this again… I can’t stand here and watch someone disappear again! Not after what happened to Sora!”

Role: Magical Boy / Airi’s love interest
Voice direction: Ren should have a naturally calm, slightly reserved voice. He isn’t emotionless—he simply doesn’t express everything immediately. His voice should become warmer around Airi and his friends, while fear, frustration, and determination bring out a much stronger side of him.
A good Ren voice actor should be able to communicate a lot without shouting.
“Uh… hi. I’m Ren. I just transferred here. Sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt.”
“…You know, most people don’t normally introduce themselves by immediately talking about magical girls.” {Pause.} But… I guess that’s not necessarily a bad thing.”
“Wait… what do you mean, ‘contract’?! Nobody said anything about me becoming a magical—”

Theme: Mystery, observation, serpentine elegance, and hidden knowledge
Voice direction: Shirohebi should have a calm, controlled voice. She rarely needs to raise her voice to command attention. There’s a slight mysterious quality to her speech, as though she’s constantly noticing things everyone else has missed.
She shouldn’t sound completely emotionless, though. When her composure finally cracks, that contrast should be noticeable.
“I helped because you needed help. That’s all.”
“People assume I’m not afraid…..That’s not true…..I’m terrified. I’ve simply learned not to let fear make my decisions.”
“ENOUGH! {Pause.} You keep treating us like we’re pieces on a board! We’re people!”
Voice Actor
Personality direction: Usagi should have a bright, energetic, slightly chaotic voice. She’s expressive and wears her emotions on her sleeve. She can be silly and excitable one second, then surprisingly sincere when someone she loves is hurting.
Her biggest voice-acting challenge is her range: comedic excitement → genuine fear → determination → emotional vulnerability.
“Guys…” {Pause.} “I don’t think we’re supposed to be here…..Can we please go home now?
“Hey… you don’t have to pretend you’re okay……I’m not very good at pretending either…..So we can just be scared together.”
“Stop!…..You don’t get to talk about them like they’re worthless!!! They’re my friends!”

Voice direction: Nozomi should have a warm, grounded, slightly sassy voice. She’s the kind of person who can tease her friends one moment and become fiercely protective the next. She isn’t necessarily the loudest member of the group, but when she speaks seriously, everyone knows she means it.
Her voice should have a feeling of comfort and reliability—like someone you can go to when everything else is falling apart.
“Airi, you’ve been staring at Ren for five minutes.”
“You keep treating us like we’re children! We’re the ones risking our lives in these Labyrinths! So stop lying to us!”
“Reinah, you keep telling us we’re safe…..Then why do you look scared every time we ask what happens next?”
Voice Actor
Voice direction: Teto should have a bright, playful, expressive voice. She’s energetic and easily distracted, especially whenever cats are involved. She can be the comic relief of the group, but she shouldn’t sound unintelligent—when something genuinely matters, she can become surprisingly perceptive and sincere.
Her voice should have a noticeable contrast between her goofy everyday personality and her serious magical-girl side.
“Look at its little face! LOOK AT IT! I’m listening! I’m listening while looking at the cat.”
“Okay! Time to show you what happens when you mess with this magical girl!”
“Guys! I found a cat!”

Voice direction: Rei should have a confident, energetic, slightly rough-and-tumble voice. She has a natural cowgirl/western flavor without needing to exaggerate the accent. She’s bold, competitive, and independent, but underneath that toughness she’s deeply loyal.
Rei is the kind of girl who’ll say “I’ve got this” even when she absolutely does not have this. 😭
Her voice should be able to shift from playful confidence to genuine vulnerability when her tough exterior cracks.
“You think this is some kind of game?! People are counting on us! So stop messing around!”
“Look… I’m not exactly good at this whole comforting thing……But I’m here. So… that’s gotta count for something, right?”
“Usagi! We’re in the middle of a mission!…..No. Whatever it is, no.”

Voice direction: Shinion should have a calm, intelligent, observant voice with a slightly mysterious edge. She tends to analyze situations before speaking, and she has a habit of noticing details that everyone else overlooks.
Because she’s a detective, she should sound like someone who is always thinking. Even when she’s having a casual conversation, there’s a feeling that she’s observing the people around her.
She’s not emotionless, though. Her biggest emotional moments should come from the contrast between her normally controlled voice and the rare moments when her composure breaks.
“Don’t touch anything. Because if this is evidence, you just contaminated it. And if it isn’t evidence…I’d rather not find out what it is.”
“You have a plan? That’s unfortunate. I was hoping you had a good one.”

Mona has a gentle, optimistic, and compassionate personality, but she’s not weak. She’s the sort of person who genuinely wants everyone to get along and tends to see the best in people. However, that kindness can also make her vulnerable—especially when she keeps putting other people’s needs ahead of her own.
She also has a romantic relationship with Rodrick, so some of her lines can show the softer side of their relationship without making romance her entire personality.
Her voice should feel warm and sincere, with a little nervousness when she’s overwhelmed.

Personality direction: Rodrick should have a confident, energetic, somewhat cocky voice. He’s the type who likes to act like nothing scares him, especially around the other magical girls. He can be competitive and impulsive, but underneath the bravado he’s extremely loyal.
His relationship with Mona brings out a softer side of him. Around her, his voice can become noticeably gentler.
His biggest voice-acting contrast should be:
Cocky → Comedic → Protective → Vulnerable → Determined

Hikaru’s opposite
Voice direction: Reinah should sound sweet, gentle, comforting, and trustworthy at first. She should have the kind of voice that makes the magical girls feel safe around her.
The important part is that her villainy isn’t immediately obvious.
At the beginning, Reinah should sound like the perfect magical mascot: encouraging, affectionate, and always ready to reassure the girls.
But once her true intentions are revealed, that same voice becomes much more unsettling because she doesn’t necessarily stop sounding kind.
She can say something horrifying in the exact same gentle tone she used when comforting Airi.
That makes her much scarier.

Personality direction: Hikaru is the exact opposite of Reinah. Where Reinah is warm, encouraging, and reassuring, Hikaru is blunt, cautious, serious, and much more willing to tell the magical girls the uncomfortable truth.
He isn’t necessarily cruel. In fact, Hikaru genuinely cares about the magical girls and boys. He simply believes that telling someone a comforting lie is worse than telling them a painful truth.
His voice should be somewhat refined and calm, with occasional dry humor. When he’s frightened or emotional, the audience should hear the difference immediately.

Yuri should have a soft, elegant, slightly mysterious voice. She can be more reserved than the others and tends to choose her words carefully. She’s intelligent and observant, but unlike Shinion, Yuri isn’t constantly investigating things—she’s more emotionally perceptive.
Yuri notices when people are hurting even when they don’t say anything.
Her biggest contrast is quiet gentleness → sharp seriousness → emotional vulnerability.

“Don’t be afraid….im here….and I’m not leaving….”

Seiko should have a bright but mature teenage voice.
Not super high-pitched, and not overly serious either. She sounds like someone who is naturally approachable—the kind of person Airi would immediately feel comfortable around.
Think:
🌟 Warm — she sounds genuinely happy to help Airi.
🎀 Friendly — there’s an easy smile in her voice.
⚔️ Confident — when a Witch appears, her voice becomes much firmer.
📚 Teacher-like — she explains things clearly without sounding like she’s lecturing.
💙 Patient — she doesn’t get annoyed when Airi makes mistakes.
🌧️ Slightly bittersweet — occasionally, you can hear that Seiko has her own history and isn’t as carefree as she appears.
Her normal voice could be around a medium pitch, with a soft, clear tone. When she’s excited, she gets faster and more animated. When she’s worried, she becomes quieter rather than screaming.
“Hey, hey! Don’t panic. You’re okay. I’m Seiko. And judging by that Soul Gem… you’re a magical girl now.”
“There’s a lot you don’t know yet. Witches, Familiars, Labyrinths… it’s confusing at first. But don’t worry. I’ll teach you everything you need to know.”
“AIRI!” pause “What were you thinking?! You could’ve gotten yourself hurt!” Then soften: ”…I don’t want to lose another friend.”
