Project Overview

Three animal gods. One human girl. A whole lotta love.


*Godly Love: Divine Romance* is going to be a youtube-based animatic project that simulates an otome game, or a dating sim! It will look like a let’s play of a dating sim, and will be drawn and edited by me - Wolfenn Heart.


GL:DR takes place in a modern day world, very similar to ours. Set in the small, fictional town of Height Springs, Colorado, it features a young woman named Alice Deane, who suddenly finds herself in the presence of three very unique people! 


The three animal gods have come to Earth to make a new pantheon for themselves, full of their divine children. The catch is that they can’t breed with each other, so they must pick a human woman for their reproductive needs. Thankfully for the three human gods, a woman of celestial blood has been found on Earth! Descended from mighty demi-gods of myth, Alice would produce the strongest and healthiest godly babies to create the pantheon of new gods. 


Alice, caught in the middle of this battle for her romantic affections, feels like she’s tumbling through a dream! Two hot men and a beautiful woman, all vying for her attention and love? It’s a fantasy come true for the reclusive and awkward girl! Alice is quickly swept off her feet by these three gods - but there’s a problem. She can only be with one of them! Who will she pick?!


Remus, the wolf god of the hunt and death, is cold and reclusive. Determined to win this contest against his siblings, he uses his material wealth to spoil his “prize.” He wears business suits and acts above it all, but there seems to be a certain soft side to his behavior regarding Alice…


Angela, the owl goddess of the moon and sky, is reserved, cultured, but with a fire in her eyes and a determined ferocity to get what she wants. Alice is in her sights, and a bird of prey always hits her mark…


Bjorn, the bear god of the Earth and family bonds, is the kindest guy you’ll ever meet. He’d give you the shirt off his back to keep you out of the rain. Towering, built, and bulky, he looks intimidating, but he has such a soft gaze and the most gentle hands to caress Alice with…


How can Alice possibly choose between her three loves? Living a wealthy life with Remus, a cultured life with Angela, or a homey family life with Bjorn? Not to mention the children that they all plan on her having - Alice doesn’t know if she’s ready for that stage in her life!

This is going to be a youtube series about Alice choosing her life partner between the three options listed above. There will be a prologue where Alice is introduced to the three gods, and then the “player” (viewer) will pick a “path” (playlist) to “play” (watch). All three arcs will be written and rendered, letting the viewer make the choice between which arc that they want to watch. 


The first arc to be completed will be chosen by staff pick, putting it to a vote to see who the staff wants to romance first! It will then be drawn, voiced, and edited by team members and myself. 


WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR…

I need quite a few people to make this happen, and everyone will be credited in the credits of each video, as well as in the video descriptions. I will state your username, your preferred credits name if you want, and link to two social media accounts of yours in each video. I’m sorry that I can’t offer payment with this job, but if it really takes off there might be a patreon in the future that will allow me to pay my staff!


PLEASE PUT YOUR DISCORD IN YOUR AUDITION, or in a comment in your audition. Auditions without a discord tag will be disregarded! *Discord is required for this project.*

ARTISTS - To start this off, you must be able to STYLE MATCH my artwork. I draw in an anime-style, and this style must be consistent through the videos. I will be needing background artists to help me flesh out the backgrounds of each scene. You will be given a description of what I need, with a few reference images, and then you will have a deadline to meet for your image. 


VOICE ACTORS - Lines need to be CLEAR, meaning that you must be able to clean up your audio in Audacity! No background noise, please! Also no headset auditions will be accepted - please use a USB or XLR condenser mic. You will be given a full script for each video, and you will need to deliver your lines on time.


WRITERS - I need a team to bounce ideas off and help me write out the scripts for each video! This team has the largest creative input on the outcome of the project, and I will need to see a sample of your writing before I pick my writing team. 


As said before, *Discord is required* as we will host the project development on a discord server.

ALICE DEANE is a young 21 year old who feels lost in the world. Never one for romance, she was always bullied and seen as an outcast by her peers. Her arc with the gods involves coming into her own and discovering her own self-worth. She deserves to be treated like a goddess, and she struggles with that concept a lot, as she feels out of place around her divine counterparts. Kind, compassionate, and unsure of her own worth, she seeks to be a people pleaser and puts everyone before herself - a flaw that the gods can’t wrap their heads around.  Alice's voice is very open to interpretation by the actor, and I would love to see what you can do with the voice!

ANGELA is the owl goddess of the moon and of the sky. She’s a very cultured woman, loving arts, music, and performances, but she’s also very reserved and could even be described as shy - if she wasn’t so forward with Alice, that is! She’s very beautiful and gentle with the object of her affections, and wants to treat her to a well-rounded life and let her explore her passions. She starts out as reserved and calm, but slowly grows more expressional over time as she grows closer to Alice. Angela has a calm, soothing voice in a medium range.

REMUS (pronounced REE-mus, like the Roman myth)  is the wolf god of the hunt and death. He’s very stoic, reserved, aloof, and doesn’t seem very expressional or passionate about anything - his calmness leaves everyone around him with a sense of dread and foreboding, like he's a wolf walking among sheep. Very rich and wealthy from holding stock in mortal businesses, he has the means to spoil Alice beyond her wildest dreams. He’s not very cuddly or close, but he knows how to put on a show and be romantic. Alice seems to be the only one who can get a response out of him, and as the story goes on he reveals more of his sensitive side. Remus has a smooth, suave voice in a medium range, but I'm also open to interpretations by actors.

BJORN (pronounced Byorn) is the ultimate outdoorsman. Gruff, but friendly, rugged, but kind - he’s sweet and protective in all the right ways. He’s determined to sweep Alice off her feet and raise a large group of bear cubs with her while they rest away in the woods somewhere, in a cabin that he will probably build himself. He’s a total handyman and family man, and loves to spoil his “little bear” whenever he can with handmade woodworking gifts. As the story goes on, you learn of his tragic past and why he tries to be so friendly and is so eager to raise a family. He helps Alice come out of her shell quite a bit with his raw, unstoppable kindness and support. Bjorn is a big guy, and has a big, deep voice in a low range.

JAMES CHASE is a student and friend of Alice's. He has feelings for her, but has trouble admitting it to her. He lives off of his father's inheritance money after his untimely death, and struggles with living in a broken family. James is protective of Alice, and sees the new "gods" as nothing but trouble and as roadblocks for his relationship with Alice. James is kind, but determined to get what he wants. When a Devil comes whispering in his ear, he's powerless to resist and becomes a Warlock, filled with demonic power to save Alice from these intrusive gods. I'm looking for anything in regards to the voice as long as it sounds young - I want to see what you can do with it!

DIOVOLO is the devil that ends up making a pact with James, turning him into a Warlock. Diovolo has plans to conquer the Earth, one bargain for a soul at a time. He's big and tall, with red skin and bat wings - he inspired the traditional "demon" iconography of the modern world. He takes no flack from James and demands complete obedience from him - but he still finds his love for Alice amusing, and he still has to fulfill his end of the bargain to get Jame's soul. I'm looking for a very dark voice in timbre, that sounds very generically evil. A deep, booming voice. You can edit your voice a bit, but place you raw audio before your edited audio, so I can hear your voice!
