READ THIS BEFORE AUDITIONING
Hello everyone! To get down to the nitty gritty, this essentially is a manga dub of Genshin Impact! After looking around, it seems as though not many people have tackled this dub. And those that have, have either fallen off, or just sloppily slapped it on YouTube. So, I decided to take a crack at it. Though I plan to create dubs for every available chapter (and possibly other Genshin content, as well), this specific casting call will pertain to the first chapter of the manga! The series will be uploaded to my YouTube channel. I look forward to hearing everyone's auditions, and awesome voices!
I advise you to read the entire description before auditioning. Just so we're on the same page. <3
REQUIREMENTS FOR AUDITIONS
USB microphones are accepted, but XLR will take priority. So long as you're able to utilize it to its highest ability in terms of sound, then I'm not picky.
Clean up your audio. Whatever Noise Suppression/EQ, etc. you normally do. However, don't do it to the point of it ruining the vocal audio.
3-5 takes is the golden range. If you do less, I have less to consider when casting, which makes it infinitely more difficult for you to be casted.
This isn't much of a requirement, exactly, but try to make sure your audio levels are between -24 and -12. This is optimal for most listening devices. If you can not because you lack the knowledge, that's fine. Like I said, it's not required. It'll just help both of us in the long run.
You may audition for as many roles as you'd like, but be prepared for the workload. Also, there is no limit to how many characters one actor can play, BUT, those who HAVEN'T been casted will have priority OVER you. So, keep that in mind.
This will be stated in every role description in case you miss it here, but... I am NOT looking for impressionists. If you can convey the character's voice in a way that's similar to, or exactly as their actual voice is, great for you! But I am more interested in convincing interpretations, as impressions limit a VA's creative freedom and forces them to abide by the path someone has already carved for them. Experiment, have fun, and do not be afraid to try something new. At the end of the day, so long as it fits the character, I do not care what voice you use. Or if you use your own.
You do not have to have any prior knowledge of Genshin Impact or have read the manga to audition. In fact, hilariously enough, I haven't even finished. You'll be fine.

Have fun! It would behoove you to try and enjoy yourself. You'll get better, genuine expressions and emotions, as well as it being more comfortable for you! At the end of the day, this is a project meant for fun, and to give more practice/experience to every single one of us who wants it!
Those who get casted will be expected to voice their characters in the chapters following this chapter (obviously). So if you're a "one and done" type person, please don't waste my time. I've warned you twice that I would be doing the entire manga, so pleeease do not find yourself with this issue. Personal life takes priority, so I will understand if you step down for your own sake. I'm not insensitive. But please don't audition with the intent to drop out, is what I'm getting at.
Discord will be the main way of contact. Alternatives will be discussed if you don't have Discord.
In order to maintain a flow, I will have deadlines for lines. Do not miss these deadlines. Or if you do, I should know in advance. We can always discuss and plan for extra time. Just don't let me get blindsided, please.
If I don't receive any sort of response from you after a certain amount of time, I can and WILL re-cast. I would like this project to continue development, and too many people think they can abuse the generosity of others.
On that note, I also have a life. My life is very, very busy, as I am in the military. Expect there to be times where I physically cannot deliver when I need to, because the military is a very sporadic place, where I can be pulled aside for anything, and have my time sapped away.
This project is PAID (full script, one-time payment), and you will receive payment once all lines have been submitted.
So long as we all can agree, understand, and accept these points, then there should be no issues. I will do my best to be reasonable and understanding, so long as I receive it in return.

One of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. He is a very ruthless person with little to no regard for human life whatsoever. Although he attempts to put on a facade to please the public eye, he can just barely manage not to seem like a complete monster.
Line 1: (frustrated, salty) Tsk. Whatever. You and your pathetic brew bores me.
Line 2: (psychotic, calm) You’re running out of bodies and ideas.. Perhaps I’ll run my tests on you, instead.
Line 3: (maniacal, unhinged, excited) They’re nothing but a bunch of self-inflated fools! [insane laughter] But, this trip has proved rather useful! Perhaps Krupp deserves something for his hard work!
(mischievous, “villainous sidekick”, obsessive)
Krupp is a menial working for the Fatui, and one of Dottore’s adjutants. He can be quite cold to those he perceives to hold a lower status than him, and is forever loyal (fearful) of Dottore.
(nervousness growing) O-Of course! That goes without saying-! I’ll get the results you desire, My Lord!
(confident, slimy) It’s been a while, young Master Diluc..
(angry, injured/shocked from getting ambushed) [pained scream] GUARDS! TAKE DOWN THIS ASSASSIN!
(calm, polite, intelligent)
Seamus is the Seneschal of the Church of Favovius, and one of the leaders of Mondstadt.
(calm, weary) There’s no need to trouble the Head of this manor, Master Krupp..
(nervous, struggling to maintain composure) This is.. Indeed a matter of grave import. The Grand Master must learn of this before we can decide.
(peaceful, warm) Master Diluc.. Sorry for troubling you with this. Thank you for delaying them for us.
(cheerful, lawful, bouncy)
The one and only Outrider of the Knights of Favonius. Amber is known to be a person who’s willing to spend her time helping the citizens of Mondstadt, regardless of the level of difficulty that task may present.
Line 1: (cheerful) Outrider Amber reporting for duty! Just say the word if you ever need my help!
Line 2: (upset, pouty) Oh no, it’s raining… now my uniform will get all wet..
Line 3: (frustrated, after taking a heavy hit) [pained grunt] Urgh.. Hey! That’s cheating!
(stern, in-charge, slight southern twang)
Seemingly one of the maids that oversee services throughout the party, such as serving food.
Line 1: (frustrated) Sheesh, Scullion! You’ve already been here for three months! Watch your step!
Line 2: (slightly awkward) You’re… new to Mond, right? I guess you’ve probably never heard about Ursa the Drake..
(unconfident, clumsy, soft-voiced)
A “scullion” is a servant who is assigned to the most menial kitchen tasks.
Line 1: (relieved, mentally exhausted) [after successfully balancing drinks on a tray] Phew..! Didn’t spill anything..
Line 2: (whispering, curious) Why are they speaking to them like that? Those guys act as though they own the place..
(any voice will work)
A boy who lived in Mondstadt a few years ago, up until he was captured by the Fatui.
Line 1: (weak, losing consciousness) [pained groans]
(informative, professional)
Generic scientists that work for the Fatui, conducting experiments on the unfortunate souls, such as Anthony.
Line 1: (matter of fact, calm, informative) Contender 139 down. No life signs detected. Initiating rebuild.
(snobby, egotistic, mid-low range)
Just a member of the festivities.
Line 1: (jokingly, relaxed) A single barrel of this fine vintage is worth one of my mansions!
(snobby, egotistic, proper)

Line 1: (thankful. chuckling) The young lord is so generous..!
(confident, calm, smooth)
A character who Diluc leaves in charge while he is absent. Diluc seems to have full faith in him carrying out his duties properly.
Line 1: (announcing, calm) Apologies, esteemed guests. Master Diluc must excuse himself for a while. The party shall continue, the wine shall flow, and this evening shall remain enjoyable.
Line 2: (reporting to Diluc, proper) Master. All is set.
