Furtails: Pilot [CANCELLED (for now at least)]

Species: Groven (cat, owl, demon, but demon only by the claws and red instead of white in the eyes)

Role: Lead

Overview: Xeo is a mix of demon/cat/owl called a Groven. Groven, in universe, dont normally have magical capabilities beyond what most normal people can do. However, because they are descendants of the ancient Vitren race,  (they were a demon/owl mix) they can be born with the Mark of the Vitren, a genetic trait that has been lost due to centuries of Vitren mating with the cat population in another part of the world (That's a story for another time). And Xeo happened to be the first in centuries to possess this Mark. Which was noticed by Mareth and she decided to exploit Xeo to help the war effort.

Voice requirements: Xeo is a female, so she needs to be done by a female voice actor, preferably early 20s, but ill take older teenager. Xeo is roughly 20years old. I haven't decided exactly how old yet. It will depend on the voice actor, ig.

Audition requirements: Must be submitted in abcabc or aabbcc format. I WILL NOT take anything less, but if you want to do more than that, be my guess.

Species: Fox

Role: Major

Overview: born a swordsman at heart in the small town of yltis (pronounced WHY-EL-TIS). Rufus had always been fascinated by swordplay. And as soon as he possesed the motor skills to do so, he trained himself to be a skilled swordsman. But what started out as a hobby became a life goal. He needed to become a skilled swordsman to protect his village and his country. His mother was proficient had helped him train by the age of 12. But when she couldn't teach him anymore. Rufus had left the village to go train... with a grand sword master in the mountains.... yeah, completely original...

Voice requirements: Rufus is a male in his late 20s to early 30s, so if you are that old or you're capable of sounding that way. Then good, on a more optional note, Rufus has a slight southern accent, its nice, but not mandatory.

Audition requirements: Must be submitted in abcabc or aabbcc format. I WILL NOT take anything less, but if you want to do more than that, be my guess.

Species: Cat

Role: lead

Overview: Sprixxie is a black cat mage, but she always wears a cloak, mask, and hat to hide her scarred body. She has a prostetic, mechanical arm that helps her with casting concentrated spells like an arm cannon. Sprixxie was always interested in magic, but there was no way to learn it outside of hard to get spell books and street magicians. She would often ask the street magicians how they do the spells, one day, she asked a seemingly innocent magician how to do a defensive fire spell, he told her. But he purposely told her incorrectly, so as sprixxie was out practicing in the woods, she tried the spell and it backfired on her, permanently scarring her body, and caused her right arm to have to be amputated by Polaris, who just happened to find her, barely alive.

Sprixxie, aside from her permanent damage, made as full recovery as possible. She vowed to not let anyone go through what she went through, so she founded the Solar magic Academy. The first school of magic in Alterion to help people interested in the art of magic learn in a safe environment.

Voice requirements: Sprixxie is a mid 20s female with a deeper, loud, but raspy voice. She speaks through a mask most of the time, so speak with a slightly muffled effect, as though through a mask.

Species: Fennic Fox

Role: Major supporting character

Overview: if you've ever seen the sonic series, then you might know about tails' story. Polaris' story is similar to that, in the sense that they both enjoyed inventing things and everyone thought they were insane for doing so. But thats where the similarities end. Polaris grew up in a semi rich family, so he was able have free time to work on inventing with his close friend Bob. They worked on projects together for years, all of them failures, but one day, when they were both just under 20 years old, they had a massive breakthrough in automation. Their success was noticed by the government and Polaris was funding and her very own department of the government called the technological advancements and creation dept.

Once the war started, her closest friend Bob went to fight and died to the queen's relentless army.

Voice requirements: Polaris is between early 30s and late 20s, but due to his smaller size, you can get away with being an ealry 20s or even teenager. Polaris is quite sassy and sarcastic. Im jealous of the person who gets this role, it'll be a fun one.

Audition requirements: Must be submitted in abcabc or aabbcc format. I WILL NOT take anything less, but if you want to do more than that, be my guest.

Species: Vitren (owl demon mix)

Overview: alright, the big bad of the story! The evil queen Mareth herself (Evil queen is kinda corny, but fitting considering the context) I dont want to go too indepth with this one has most of her story will be revealed in the show. But summarized, she wants to take control of Alterion for herself. That is all I'll say for now.

Another important thing to note is that Mareth is the last surviving Vitren, she had discovered the secret to using her powers for eternal life, so she could rule her kingdom with an iron fist for eternity.

Voice requirements: deep and menacing most of the time, but able to put on fake sincerity and fake emotions when needed. Mareth is an older voice actor, however, since she is capable of immortality, any age range will do! Ill just tweak her design for the VA's age.

Audition requirements: Must be submitted in abcabc or aabbcc format. I WILL NOT take anything less, but if you want to do more than that, be my guess.

As the name implies, these are characters too unimportant to the story to get their own section.

Voice requirements: any and all is accepted! Preferably, like all, with a decent microphone, but unlike the more important roles, id be willing to overlook some crappy audio, so long as its not too bad, but outside of that, if you audition for this one, and there aren't too many people, you are almost guaranteed a minor voice line.

Obviously we cant make an indie show without a group of talented animators! I understand that with the project being deferred, its risky to put so much time and effort into something for it to end up making you no money. But if you do end up joing my little team im assembling for a dream of mine, then I thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart for agreeing to help me.

Audition requirements: submit either an existing animation you did or one you made for the audition about one or more characters from the cast list doing whatever you see fit

NOTE: you must be able to draw together in a similar art style. Also the animation needs to be 24 fps done in twos.

Now I wont be able to write entire scripts all by myself, I have a social life and other things that I have to put first. Not to mention half my idea suck. So what if I had a second mind working on the script? If we both have crappy idea half the time, that's still leaves the other half with good ideas, and two halves make a whole!

Audition requirements: simply submit any script you made in the past. Or make a short script about a guy named Bob going to the grocery store to pick up bananas, but there were no bananas.

We cant have a silent film with voices, that'd be pretty lame and boring to watch. So I need only a few artists to compose the score of the pilot. Make it all tense and exciting to whatever might be happening on screen! 

Im accepting 3 artists. No more, maybe less, it depends.

Note: The preferred software mentioned are only guidelines, if you have another software you use, thats perfectly fine.

This is a bit of a minor thing, but still important! I simply need someone to do promotional art, and make ref sheets for the animators, nothing more! Ill accept 1-3 people for this.

Audition requirements: submit one of your art pieces or draw your interpretation of one of the characters.
