It is currently unknown what crime Eddie committed to join Bet and Forgive, but it is shown that his crime causes distress when thought about as shown in his interview with Cupid.

APPEARANCE
Benny is an average built man with a masculine build. He has fiery orange hair that is pushed back with red circular sunglasses aside from two cowlick strands that hang over the bridge. He has green eyes and fair skin along with a sharp fang that sometimes pokes out.

His outfit consists of a black tank top and racing jacket with a popped collar and various shades of blues. The sleeves are red, black, and white, with a checkerboard pattern running along the sides and up the shoulders. He wears fingerless gloves and ripped jeans with a long black belt that hangs off to the side. His shoes are running shoes that are primarily blue in color with accents of red and white on the bottoms.

It's also important to note that Benny has a circular scar on his abdomen/hip.

PERSONALITY
Benny is a daring and outgoing guy, constantly having a 'need for speed', so to say. He's constantly busy, typically speeding, and has a fiery nature. He doesn't consider the consequences of his actions, deciding to be impulsive and act first before really thinking a plan through. He's a noncommittal person that is allergic to staying in one place and can't settle down. He refuses to let himself be held down by anything ranging from trivial matters to serious relationships, which causes a lot of strain on the people he's close to.

He enjoys drunk driving and speeding, causing him to be insanely reckless and endangering his life and others. Most people perceive him as impatient, impulsive, and an annoyance to others. He's also shown to be unapologetic, not caring if the things he says hurts others as he never says sorry for what he does.

Ultimately, Benny lives for himself above living for others.

BACKGROUND
Before his appearance on Bet and Forgive, Benny was arrested for speeding. His reason for applying to Bet and Forgive is his dislike of being held down and dealing with the consequences of his actions. According to him, once you're tied down everything starts piling up, which becomes a waste of time.

Benny and Bones dated sometime before the events of the game take place. Benny states Bones isn't his ex because that would imply that it was a serious relationship. It's unstated what ended their relationship, but they are no longer on good terms. When Eddie reveals that he was in Vick's group, when talking about Bones Benny says "Or whatever name he goes by", implying that Bones isn't his real name or he went by something different in the past.

APPEARANCE
Cupid is a rather scruffy fella. He has a slim build and pale skin. His hair is a darker, reddish color with pink streaks that is tied back in a short ponytail. Two cowlicks flick out of the tied back look. He has a bit of facial hair with two slightly longer hairs that are also a reddish pink. One of his eyes are average, but the other has a red ringed pattern to it.

His outfit itself has a noticeable motif that matches his name. He has a pink button up with a heart shaped piece around the neck, a lighter pink vest on top, and a blazer as the final layer. The lapels of his blazer have a cupid's arrow design, and the shoulders have light pink stitched onto them with little tassels. The pants are a dark red with lighter red stripes, and a pink belt with a heart shaped buckle.

PERSONALITY
Cupid is sarcastic and blunt. He has a bit of nervousness to him when interacting with the contestants in a high-tensity situation, but can be cocky and snippy when he's in a much more controlled environment. He generally doesn't like being questioned or pressed too much on his entire role in Bet & Forgive.

BACKGROUND
Not much is known yet about Cupid's background prior to his involvement with Bet & Forgive.

APPEARANCE
Sailor is one of the shorter characters. He's fair-skinned with short, dark blue hair that fades into salmon. He wears a dark blue sleeveless jumpsuit with white accents, along with a scarf that has a small orange cape attached and arm warmers to match. He also has a dark blue and white hat with an orange brim resembling an albatross and a snazzy pair of sandals.

PERSONALITY
Sailor is shown to be a confident yet caring character. His route is spent searching for a medkit to help his roulette partner Sandbag, who had been shocked on stage during the show's introduction. During the fountain interaction, Sailor is eager to jump in and swim around, but is disappointed when he's stopped and told he can't swim due to the shocker on his wrist. When running into Cupid in the shop, Sailor is quick to demand an attack on him, yelling at Eddie to "Get him!" and suggesting Eddie "Give him a good ol' flogging." If your group don't win enough chips in the gambling hall, when Vick's team confronts you Sailor will willingly offer his grandpa's compass in return for the medkit, further proving his dedication towards his friends. Near the end of the route, he also brings up he has a good judge of character, and it's how he brought this team together.

BACKGROUND
Before his appearance on Bet and Forgive, Sailor was arrested for selling of illicit goods. Sailor was a dock worker who helped with unloading weapons, non-regulated medication, bootlegs, and various other items off of boats. Legally, he was unable to be hired due to a lack of training credentials, so he was in an independent contract group that allowed the dock workers to turn a blind eye to the illicit cargo being transported.

When there was a raid on the operation, Sailor was the only one caught on site. The police didn't know the full scale of the operation, but Sailor accidentally gave it away which led him to getting a harsher sentence. Due to Sailor being 16 years or older at the time, he was tried as an adult for the felony he committed. Sailor reportedly also had similar crimes on his criminal record prior to this incident.

Sailor signed up for Bet and Forgive because he didn't want to spend his golden years in prison, because he wouldn't have been released until almost 40 years old.

Rook appears as a young, tanned woman featuring very long, straight multicolored hair in blue, blond, and white, complemented by striking amber eyes. Her attire incorporates an equestrian motif consisting of a long dark purple trench coat or dark shadbelly coat, a cream-colored shirt, and grey pants.

PERSONALITY
Rook is a proper, tight-laced, and self-described "noble" individual who maintains a refined and elegant decorum matching her "Loyal Equestrian" stage persona. Her defining characteristic is an absolute, unwavering devotion to Cecilia, whom she prioritizes above all else, while remaining deeply defensive, suspicious of other contestants, and governed by a rigid yet conditional moral code.

BACKGROUND
Before her appearance on Bet and Forgive, Rook was arrested for two counts of first-degree murder against her parents. When asked about her crime, Rook becomes defensive and offended that Eddie believes she's capable of such ruthless acts. She states that she does not know whether or not it was self-defense, but she did do it.

According to Vega, she turned herself in afterwards and confessed to killing both of her parents, telling the police how she did it. She never gave away why she did it or explained how things got to that point. There was no one else around the property of miles, making her the only suspect.

Sandbag is a large, heavily muscular man with tanned skin. His history as an underground fighter is physically evident from multiple scars running across his hands and down both arms. He features short, bleached-blond hair and unusually small, pitch-black pupils. Reflecting his highly anxious and defensive persona, the upper portion of his face is permanently cast in a heavy dark shadow. He is frequently illustrated with prominent sweat droplets on his forehead or cheek to emphasize his panicked state.

His uniform combines elements of a formal casino dealer with a distinct shark motif. On his torso, he wears a sleeveless white collared button-up dress shirt underneath a black formal vest with lapels, paired with a loosely tied, messy black bowtie at the collar. His jumpsuit is a bright orange, shark-themed prison uniform featuring black and blue trim, which he keeps completely undone and tied down around his waist. His hands are wrapped in black fingerless boxing gloves, complemented by formal, clean white cuffs wrapped around his wrists. To finish the look, he wears a distinct black bandana tied around his forehead, which is patterned with a stylized, wide-open shark mouth and a round yellow circle meant to resemble an eye.

PERSONALITY
Sandbag is an highly anxious, hot-tempered, and blunt individual who frequently acts on impulse and presents a rude, hostile, and defensive exterior to anyone new or untrusted. Underneath this prickly and volatile shell, he possesses a deeply protective nature and is fiercely loyal to those who manage to earn his trust. This loyalty is most prominent in his gentle and kind relationship with Sailor, his teenage roulette partner, whose safety Sandbag takes complete responsibility for by actively threatening anyone who tries to harm the boy. While he is physically one of the strongest contestants in the game, he harbors an intense resentment toward his official "Crybaby Underdog" label, finding it highly exaggerated and humiliating even though he naturally tears up during bouts of severe panic or hyper-fixation. Despite his emotional volatility, he can easily resort to violence if he deems it necessary for survival. He maintains a cold, unapologetic worldview regarding his dark past as an underground boxer, strictly believing that everyone in the ring understands the fatal risks of the sport.

BACKGROUND
Before his appearance on Bet and Forgive, Sandbag was arrested for manslaughter. After a cheating accusation, Sandbag was suspended from competing in public, and when he tried to protest he was told that he was "lashing out" and "acting violently" which got him blacklisted completely. After being banned from professional boxing, he began boxing underground, as he believed that it was the only way to continue his career.

During his fight he wasn't paying attention to his opponent, focusing solely on winning. Sandbag hit something important is his opponent's head, something that would've been non-fatal if someone noticed earlier and got his opponent out of the ring sooner. Sandbag didn't realize something was wrong with his opponent because they were still awake, so he kept hitting them. He hit something else that was more important, which killed them. Nobody realized they died in the ring until they tried to treat their injuries. There wasn't anyone qualified to stop the match or realize that something was wrong. The organizers of the event put the death on Sandbag, saying that he continued to hit them even when he was told to stop.

He is largely unapologetic for what he did, saying that both of them knew what they were getting into and that they both knew there was a chance they wouldn't go home.

According to Vega, he was photographed crying during the match that killed his opponent, which gave him the unofficial title of the Crybaby Killer. He was crying throughout his trial in a bid to gain sympathy from the jury.

During his boxing matches, Sandbag was called Crybaby due to crying in almost every match he was in.

Described by the game's creator as giving off "group aunt vibes," she often displays a kind-hearted, motherly, and playful demeanor toward the others, such as choosing to stay by Sandbag's side to comfort him after he receives an electric shock.

However, beneath her polite and poised exterior lies a hidden, more calculated nature that perfectly aligns with her given stage name, "Heartless Maiden." She behaves with a high level of secrecy and pragmatism, even paying Vick extra money to keep her true crime hidden from the rest of the cast. Her ruthless survival instinct is fully exposed during the high-stakes game of Blackjack, where she is entirely willing to pursue her own safety and the odds of saving others even if it means putting Rook's life directly at risk.

BACKGROUND
Unlike the other contestants whose crimes are open knowledge or uncovered during the reality show Bet and Forgive, Cecilia's file is strictly confidential. When the protagonist Eddie attempts to purchase information regarding her past, the host Vick reveals that Cecilia personally paid him extra chip money to keep her crime hidden from both the host and the rest of the cast.

Vega is a character that prefers things to go the way she likes it. They like being the one in control of scenarios (likely due to the paranoia surrounding a lack thereof) and orchestrating plans amongst his group. She's a bit sarcastic and blunt at times, often jabbing at their groupmates or others if they do something that he personally doesn't like. Despite this, she doesn't really do anything incredibly offensive, unlike Vick's group, and maintains a relatively neutral, and skeptical, outlook on everybody else.

BACKGROUND
Before her appearance on Bet and Forgive, Vega was arrested for tampering with evidence and impeding an investigation as well as a string of other smaller crimes including trespassing and disorderly conduct. He insists that his crimes were necessary to uncover and expose the truth, and that the laws helped nobody.

In Modos, there was a serial killer responsible for the Starry Night Killings. The serial killer would only kill on nights with especially visible stars. Vega was near their last killing during their stargazing session, which made them the only witness. Her account was instrumental to figuring out who the culprit was, and she was credited for cracking the case. When he was interviewed, an interviewer asked which case he was solving next, which helped him realize his true purpose, covering crime without sparing any details.

Vega applied for Bet and Forgive to disprove the allegations against them to the audience.

She has dark skin and short eyebrows. Her hair is dark brown and styled into short twintails (pigtails) paired with contrasting, lighter bleached-brown bangs. Her eyes are dark brown, and she features prominent, visible red blush stickers or markings on her cheeks.

Poppy is characterized by her sarcasm and bluntness. They often make honest quips and remarks, oftentimes scoping for flaws in people to mock - as seen in her dialogue in the morgue where Eddie finds notes on all the contestants' medical information. She pries, honest about trying to find something embarrassing.

Despite this, Poppy is shown to be realistic and a critical thinker. As seen in Blackjack, they're the one who suggests leaving out contestants who won Roulette alone - reminding others that they're on Bet and Forgive, a show in which the audience watches to see criminals punished. To support this, in Vega's investigation backstage, Poppy remarks that under the tacky lights and flashy decorations, this is all meant to be a prison and a glorified execution.

BACKGROUND
Before her appearance on Bet and Forgive, Poppy was arrested for causing a multiple vehicle collision as well as involuntary manslaughter resulting in the death of a child.

When asked if her crime was an accident, she makes a joke about asking her parents if her birth was an accident, implying the answer is yes.

Cobyn has a muscular build with fair ivory skin and short messy green and brown hair. He has six freckles, three on each cheek, with none on the rest of his body.

Cobyn's outfit features a white collared shirt adorned with a green and yellow pattern, paired with a black bow tie. Over this, he wears a light brown apron draped over a dark brown jacket with white rolled-up sleeves. On their head, he has a wide-brimmed hat, and they carry a small light brown shoulder bag with dark brown accents. He wears short fingerless black gloves as well. Completing their look, Cobyn wears green plaid pants and a pair of black boots.

PERSONALITY
Cobyn is shown to be very considerate and caring, but also a little naive and oblivious. He looks out for everyone, even those they have not personally met. They struggle with social cues, often unable to read the room and other people's emotions.

BACKGROUND
Before his appearance on Bet and Forgive, he was arrested for multiple counts of accessory to murder.

Cobyn and his Mamó had a botanical garden that they took care of together. People would buy the basics for plant care and they would sell and plants that outgrew their space in the garden. Cobyn's Mamó was the main caretaker of the garden. After her death, he buried her corpse under the garden and Cobyn became the main caretaker of the garden. After he became the sole owner he struggled to find away to keep both the business and the plants alive. One day, a friend of Cobyns came to him in hysterics. He confessed to him that he had a dead body and was upset that he had nowhere to put it. There was plenty of space near Mamó's plot and he knew that the body would do wonders for fertilization. Cobyn buried the body under his garden, and after his friend left he didn't hear about the body for multiple days.

Eventually Cobyn's friend came back with another body, and his friend's friend had another one, all of which were buried under his garden. With each body buried the garden became healthier. He began receiving money with each body to go towards the upkeep of the garden. As time went on the garden got crowded and the corpses weren't buried properly. One day, a young guest noticed a finger sticking out from the mulch. The police were called and it fell apart from there.

Cobyn does not seen anything wrong with his actions, simply seeing it as wanting his Mamó's garden to flourish.

Vick is a cold, authoritative, and fiercely pragmatic individual who approaches the death game with the ruthless efficiency of a corporate executive. As the former host of Bet and Forgive, he views the other contestants not as peers, but as assets to be managed, implementing a strict hierarchy where he explicitly ranks his allies based entirely on their "usefulness" to his own survival. He is entirely unapologetic about his calculated nature, showing zero tolerance for emotional outbursts, weakness, or sentimentality. Despite his demotion to a common contestant, he maintains a commanding, domineering presence, using his insider knowledge of the game's mechanics to manipulate situations and maintain absolute control over his faction.

BACKGROUND
Before the events of Jackpot Crash Course, Vick served as the executive showrunner and official host of the reality death game Bet and Forgive. While it is known that he managed the broadcast before the current host, Cupid King, took over, the exact crime that led to Vick's arrest remains completely unknown. He was actively working on the production of the current season until he was suddenly arrested and thrown directly into the final casting as a prisoner. Even if the player pays Vick 20 chips in the VIP room to unlock the cast's criminal information decks, his own profile remains strictly classified, leaving characters like Vega to speculate that the show's producers intentionally orchestrated his arrest to kill him off on live television.

Bones has a generally non-conforming appearance. He's of an average build with dark skin and fluffy platinum blonde hair that is partially pulled back into a messy bun. He wears white face paint and dark black eyeshadow above the eye and a smoky gray underneath. He has two prominent moles beneath his left eye. They also have two double helix piercings and single lobe piercings on their ears.

Their accessories consists of a black spiked choker and a collection of silver necklaces. They also wear a belt with circular rings containing the letter 'A' and fingerless black gloves.

In terms of clothing, Bones wears a black t-shirt with a white ribcage pattern and a spiked leather jacket that has bones running down the sleeve. His pants are black, skintight pants with a dark mesh window going down the sides. His boots are knee-high platform boots with numerous buckles and spikes on the backs of them.

PERSONALITY
Bones is a flirtatious and charismatic character that likes to manipulate and charm others to get what they want. They often point out flaws and jab at characters they don't like and carry themself with a sense of confidence and aloofness. He's quick to judge and often mentions being mistrustful of others or finds them to be useless to his own personal goals.

He has a tendency to try and provoke others as well, only to de-escalate things when they progress. He has a preference to working alone, finding that others slow him down in the process and just make things harder for him. He has trouble opening up to the other contestants and shuts down conversations that pry too much into his personal life, even if he's the one that started them.

Before his appearance on Bet and Forgive, Bones was supposedly arrested for second degree murder. According to Vick, Bones hooked up with a well-known CEO, someone related to finance. The CEO was found strangled to death on a motel bed. Bones also has multiple counts of theft on his record. When asked about his crime directly, he insists that he didn't kill anyone and asks if choking a CEO to death matches with his character. Bones says that his crime was grave robbing, hence the skeletal theming in his costume, before becoming aggressive.

Elise is a chaotic, 19-year-old contestant in Jackpot Crash Course whose unsettling appearance mirrors his manic personality. He is short and thin with messy blonde hair, a pale face, and distinct light blue eyes featuring a creepy, manic swirl in the irises. His outfit resembles a distorted, Alice-in-Wonderland-style magician costume, consisting of a light blue playsuit under a white vest, a black headband with bunny ears, a black bowtie, and dark leggings. Most bizarrely, two pink flamingos protrude from his back and wrap around his arms like a fluffy boa, perfectly completing his whimsical yet terrifying look.

PERSONALITY
Elise is a kind of sadistic character that enjoys messing around with others in a dark and sometimes cruel way. He's often seen as kinda disturbing/scary in various drawings and depictions.

BACKGROUND
Before his appearance on Bet and Forgive, Elise was arrested for numerous unknown crimes. When paying Vick for information about Elise's crimes, he simply states that they're "bad". He says that any crime that you can think of, Elise has probably committed it. Elise is supposedly a repeat offender, with this being the very first time he has ever been caught or convicted. When Eddie questions Elise about his crime, he doesn't give any specifics. Instead he confuses Eddie for a man who supposedly punctured a man's eyes so hard that you could see the back of his head warp under the pressure, with "giblets and chunks" being pressed out of his ears. When asked if that's the type of people he usually associates with, he asks "What else is there to do in Modos?".

According to Vega, Elise comes from a wealthy family. There were an unavoidable number of charges against him, with Elise doing something newsworthy at every hour of every district in town. His family most likely covered up all of his crimes before the day of his arrest, with them being unable to cover for Elise anymore.
