Flora Parasocial
Project Overview
Flora Parasocial is a death game visual novel based on different reality TV shows. Twelve participants, celebrities and leaders, are put into an underground show called 'Parasocial', where both they and the audience affect who lives and who dies. The primary form of this death deciding will be ranking the other participants in a certain way, such as who you trust more or who you think deserves to live more, and choosing who becomes the 'Socialite'. The socialite chooses one person to kill.
Flora Parasocial will start as an unpaid project for the demo/prologue, but will be paid for following chapters, with 3 dollars per full line. This project will have multiple routes and eight endings depending on the player's choices.
This project requires you to be 18+ to audition, and will need you to be comfortable with heavy topics such as death, murder, abuse, suicide, and more. Please audition in an AABBCC format, and include your discord and age as well.

Allen is a 17-year-old high school student. He has some of the best grades in the state, and won numerous writing competitions, spelling bees, and trivia contests.
He is one of the most well-known teenagers in the country due to his success, but not much is known about his private life. His parents have yet to show up in an interview, with his teachers instead being show as his guardian.
He has a medium-high voice with a constant nervous undertone to it. He stutters often and talks fast when he is interested in something. (Nonbinary or transfem VA’s HIGHLY preferred/required for this role)

Lycus is a 27-year old baseball coach, known for his extreme positivity and encouragement with his very successful team of players. He used to play baseball on his own, but it’s been a few years since. His team’s fans are consistent online, praising his drive and work ethic. He never misses a day of work for his team, after all. However, this passion has led to worrying for his players.
Lycus has a very deep and low voice, but one full of passion and happiness at every turn. He's very loud and insistent.

Joelle is a 66-year-old politician and debater in her state, often centering on issues about the youth, education, and safety of the average person. She is highly regarded as one of the most respectable and advanced politicians of her time. She often appears in interviews and videos online, speaking sympathetically to young people. She's very active in making them feel safe and secure.
Joelle has a medium pitch voice, leaning lower. She speaks very formally, always with a sense of authority and knowledge, considering her age.

Darcy is a 31-year-old CEO of a perfume company, Kemal Perfumes. She is known for being highly influential and strict with her employees, but with a lot of personal touch ever since she inherited the position. Her perfumes have quickly become the most sought after and high selling in the country. She often appears in public with her husband, Avery Drews. The two are often regarded as a power couple.
Darcy has a low, almost raspy voice. She has an authoritative tone of voice most times, but it almost leans into distant and apathetic.

Annika is a 21-year-old VTuber who streams games, primarily visual novels and RPGs, online. She is known as Nooroo, and her fans are known as Noocomers. Her avatar is drawn by her, and is a girl similar-looking to Annika with mouse features. She’s looking into becoming a bigger artist to make her own games, but her fanbase wants her to stay and continue playing games for them.
Annika has a very high-pitched, squeaky voice, almost like a mouse. She's incredibly quiet, however, and she stumbles over her words or mumbles plenty. But when she's in a good mood or talking to a fan, she has a sudden air of happiness and cheer about her.

(Nervous, distant) Kinoko, I... I'm not sure about this. What if everyone decides to come after us? I care about you, but I don't want either of us to die... (Sigh) I know, I know... It's kill or be killed in this situation.
(Screaming, terrified) Don't kill me! Please! I swear, I'll be good! I'll be whatever you want me to be! I don't wanna die! I don't want to diiiie!
Astrid is a 28-year-old children’s book author and illustrator. She is known for her many fantastical worlds and sweet animal characters, such as Ruby the Rhino and Cactus the Cat. Many parents are fans of her work, and her highest selling book sold 100,000 copies in just six months. She donated much of the earnings to children’s hospitals and visits sick children almost every week.
She has a medium-high voice that's comforting and soft. She's always gentle and nurturing with her words, careful not to hurt anybody with what she says.

(Logical, to the point) We should prioritize those who are young. They have the potential for a successful future, while we all have already made significant contributions to society. Don't be selfish and say you deserve to live more than them.
Kinoko is a 19-year-old fanfiction writer. She’s well known online for writing the longest ongoing fanfiction, alongside creating comics, fan games, and fanart of her favorite manga and anime series. She’s very active online, participating in discussions surrounding her fandoms more often than not. Her name has become a bit of an inside joke in her fandoms. ‘Say Kinoko’s name, and she will appear.’
Kinoko has a medium-high voice. She is very nerdy and passionate about everything related to her interests, but she can have a mean streak within her.

(Sad, crying) I want to live! This game won't kill me, I won't die, right?! Makoto, if you hear this, save me! You save everybody else, so save me! Your biggest supporter! Please! ...Fiction has always saved me before, right?
