A hero from the world of Fire Emblem Warriors. As princess of Aytolis, she seeks with her twin brother to restore the mysterious Shield of Flames. Though she has all the elegance and humility befitting her royal status, it is Lianna’s diligence and talent that truly sets her apart.

Lianna has no desire to inherit the throne but rather encourages her twin brother to inherit it and become king. She dearly loves her more hotheaded brother, Rowan, but also often quarrels with him due to her preference of using a more level-headed approach to problems.

Robin is a skilled tactician who is able to lead The Shepherds to victory despite overwhelming odds. She is incredibly resourceful and intelligent, and is able to create new plans and tactics by observing those around her. She is perceptive to the feelings of others, and is charismatic in nature. Robin has the innate ability to befriend everyone she meets. She is potentially the mother to Lucina and the wife of Chrom, as well as the mother to her son, Morgan.

Chrom is the prince, and eventual Exalt, of the Halidom of Ylisse. He is also the captain of Ylisse's elite force, the Sheperds, and wields the legendary blade Falchion. He is the brother of Lissa and Emmeryn, the father of Lucina, and the uncle of Owain. He leads his Shepherds force to protect the peace when the neighboring nation of Plegia begins acting suspiciously. He has a strong sense of justice and is a crucial member of his squad.

Lucina is a strong willed and driven woman who is determined to alter the dark future she came from. She values her comrades deeply and has a sense of justice. Due to the countless deaths and horrific events of the future, she dislikes any form of death, even "noble" ones. Her main motivations come from her love for her parents, especially Chrom. Lucina is willing to do whatever it takes to see that Chrom stays alive, even if it means going against her wish for no needless deaths. Nevertheless, she is obedient to Chrom and puts her trust in her father's judgements, showing a strong bond of trust with her father.

Lissa is Chrom and Emmeryn's younger sister, and the princess of the Halidom of Ylisse. In spite of her noble status, she aids Chrom in battle as part of the Sheperds as their primary healer nonetheless. Lissa initially comes across as an individual who looks upon the world with a naïve, simplistic outlook, a fact that is compounded by her seemingly spoiled and immature behavior.

Frederick is a veteran who prefers to guide others, and is Chrom's deputy in the Sheperds, once serving as a royal knight beforehand. Frederick is extremely serious and has a no-nonsense personality. It is no surprise that he is a natural skeptic, a fact very aptly encapsulated by the nickname "Frederick the Wary" given to him by Chrom. He is also known to be very patient, dealing with Lissa's antics and Chrom's reckless behavior without displaying any visible signs of resentment. Despite this, it is clear that Frederick deeply cares for Chrom, Lissa, and Emmeryn, feeling the need to protect and serve them at all costs.

VA Example: Stephanie Sheh

Tharja is a Dark Mage who hails from Plegia, though she does not care about the conflict between Plegia and Ylisse. After joining Chrom's army, she falls in love with Robin, regardless of their gender.

She is a rather cold and moody individual, usually threatening to curse them if they stand in the way of her plans of gaining Robin's affections. Despite Tharja's grim personality around others, she is capable of loving another person, though her love for Robin often takes a higher priority in the end.

Cordelia is a member of Ylisse's Pegasus Knights. Her duty is to protect the royal family. She rides a pegasus named Aurora. During her days as a recruit, it was apparent that she was a prodigy in nearly everything she attempted to do, except running. It was her lack of running skill that led her to the squad in the first place. Eventually she would enter the Pegasus Knight squad as an official member, though she was heavily hazed.

Cordelia is considered to be a genius though she hates being called such. She is not without flaws however as she admits she's a little ill-tempered and shows moments of low self esteem. She has an unrequited crush on Chrom and keeps her feelings hidden.

Olivia is a dancer who travels across the continent in a theatre troupe. In the past during one of Olivia's performances, a noble man was smitten by her and plotted to kidnap and marry her. However, Basilio stepped in and prevented this and Olivia has been grateful to him ever since.

Olivia is extremely shy and withdrawn, but a dancing genius with many fans across the lands. She is shown to be insecure and a bit of a pessimistic thinker, especially when conversation comes to her own skill, and she is terrified of disappointing others.

Described as a "colorful" character by Lucina, Owain has a habit of speaking in an overly theatrical fashion that some people eventually learn to appreciate, while others find tiresome to deal with. Always eager to engage others in duels, Owain attributes this to his sword hand craving battle, even though this is, in actuality, due to his desire to prove his mettle and improve his combat skills.

He is Lissa's son and Lucina's cousin. He appears in Fire Emblem: Fates as Odin, one of Leo's retainers.

Kidnapped as a young child and raised in the kingdom of Nohr, Corrin was actually born in Hoshido. A great war is looming between the two kingdoms and they must choose which side to aide. Corrin is unlike most Fire Emblem protagonists as they can turn into a dragon, much like one of the Manakete race. It is later revealed that Corrin is not related to either side, but it actually the child of Mikoto and the human manifestation of Anankos.

Corrin is a kind person who cares deeply for the people they love and will come to the aid of anyone who should ask them for it, rapid-firing apologies if they do something to upset others, likely inheriting this habit from their father. Despite having been sheltered throughout all of their childhood, they are quite social and conversational, as well as persuasive to the point of convincing some enemy soldiers to join their cause. Aside from being unusually charismatic and attracting people to them, Corrin is also mentioned to have a way with animals, as it is said the horses in the stables like them. As they spent the majority of their time growing up within the walls of Northern Fortress, Corrin is very curious about the outside world, and quite eager to come across new sights

The eldest of the Hoshidan royal siblings. His retainers are Saizo and Kagerou. In line with his position as the direct successor to the throne of Hoshido, Ryoma cuts a figure of calm collectedness. This greatly contributes to the aura of charisma and wisdom that he is known to exude, one that sees many turning to him for his sagely advice in his support conversations.

He is adept at the art of war, and has lead the Hoshidan army to victory in many campaigns. Ryoma serves as a comforting voice to Corrin's insecurities, and often meditates to keep himself calm.

The second eldest Hoshidan royal sibling. Her retainers are Azama and Setsuna. Furious at her inability to prevent Corrin's kidnapping, Hinoka took up training as a Sky Knight. Due to her hot-blooded and rash nature, she was initially ill suited to pegasi (who prefer calm riders) , and faced many obstacles with her training.

Serious, determined, and unsophisticated, Hinoka has the spirit of a natural warrior and valiantly charges into battle with utter fearlessness and courage. She is also known to overwork herself to the point of exhaustion.

The second youngest of the Hoshidan royal siblings and wielder of the Fujin Yumi bow. His retainers are Hinata and Oboro. Constantly overshadowed by the talents of his older siblings, Takumi is thus, understandably, sometimes portrayed in a state of moody malcontent due to having developed a bit of an inferiority complex that he covers up, keenly desiring to receive recognition without being framed by the achievements of Ryoma and Hinoka. This fact alone serves as a strength and a flaw; on one hand, this has spurred Takumi to be immensely diligent in his austere efforts to upgrade his abilities, which have made him a very skilled archer.

The youngest of the Hoshidan royal siblings. Her retainers are Hana and Tsubaki. Shy and timid by nature, Sakura is very polite to others but is prone to stuttering during her conversations, a fact that becomes especially prominent when she is nervous. She tends to be very easily intimidated when confronted with unfamiliar situations existing outside her comfort zone. These traits of hers particularly stand out when she is compared alongside her older siblings, all of whom are relatively more confident, self-assured and sanguine. Complementing her shy demeanor is a heart of compassion and kindness, a fact that has led to her devoting her life towards the cause of providing healing aid to others in order to alleviate their suffering.

The oldest of the Nohrian royal siblings and crown prince of the country of Nohr. As the direct successor to the throne of Nohr, Xander was raised to become one. As such, he expresses complete patriotism to his country, cutting down all who stand in the way of Nohr's prosperity and well-being. He has some sense of honor, and believes in a concept of right and wrong. Xander does not seem to think there is any such thing as a truly evil person; just evil acts and whether or not the person is forgivable.

The second eldest of the Nohrian royal siblings, and a wyvern rider. Her retainers are Beruka and Selena. Camilla is shown to have a strong maternal instincts towards her siblings, due to her own horrible past experiences and lack of a maternal presence in her life. On the battlefield, she is known to be ruthless and bloodthirsty, and only seems to show mercy when asked by Corrin.

The second youngest of the Nohrian royal siblings, and wielder of the tome Brynhildr. Leo is portrayed as a character who possesses a keen intellect, one that he devotes towards the study of magic and strategy. In this regard, he is known to be diligent and hardworking in honing his expertise to a fine, sharp edge, to the point where he is widely regarded as a genius who is more than capable of flawlessly handling any difficult situation. Further complementing this facet of Leo's personality is the cold demeanour of calm that he assumes, one that he resolutely maintains even in the face of trying situations.

Elise is the youngest of the Nohrian royal siblings. Her retainers are Arthur and Effie. Elise's personality is defined by a pronounced lack of jadedness or cynicism, and is instead imbued with traits that are common to a child: juvenile, innocent and pure. Tenderly loving her siblings, she does not hesitate to be generous in her displays of affection for them. Despite her often childish mannerisms and behaviors, Elise has demonstrated herself to be strongly selfless and courageous in the face of danger. She expresses her kindness to everyone, including enemies.

During his childhood, his father abandoned his mother and she eventually left Niles behind. Eventually, Niles joined a gang of street thieves and they became his family. During his time, he participated in many heists. He is a retainer to Leo, along with Odin.

Sadistic, cold and callous, Niles derives pleasure from watching the suffering of others, a fact made plainly evident throughout his supports, where he visibly becomes excited when bearing witness to the pain and discomfort of his conversational partners. These traits of Niles in turn lends to his being an easily agitated individual.

One of Takumi's personal retainers, Oboro is a Hoshidan spear figher who bears an unquenchable thirst for vengeance against Nohr for the death of her parents. 

Due to her tragic past, Oboro has developed a strange tic that causes her face to turn demonic when anything related to Nohr is mentioned or shown in her presence. However, she is able to restrain herself from killing them depending on the circumstance, and recognizes that not all Nohrians are inherently evil. Like her parents before her, Oboro is a tailer and has a high interest in fashion and sewing, often "helping" out others in the group in this area. She is emotionally attached to her liege, Takumi, and has romantic feelings for him but keeps them quiet.

Marth is a kindhearted yet incredibly idealistic leader and has subtle pacifist morals. Said morals are a result of him experiencing loss directly, as his sister has been kidnapped twice and parents killed. His idealism takes a toll on him, however, as he melancholically visits the graves of those slain.

He has been shown to be overly trusting at times as he has been betrayed and almost killed by two of his comrades before. Regardless, his faith in his people do have its benefits, as recruitment of an assortment of people from different backgrounds directly contributed to his success in both wars.

VA Example: Cherami Leigh

Caeda is portrayed as a kind, patient and a forgiving yet headstrong and stubborn individual, a fact that is evident through her interactions with various characters.. When the situation mandates a need for Caeda to be serious, she can be gravely so, a fact that sees her risking her safety in many a battlefield in order to seek reinforcements to turn the tide of battle in her favor. Caeda shares a close bond with Marth, one that eventually blossoms into a passionate love. As a result, she is exceedingly protective of Marth, a fact that has compelled her to personally enlist in his army to act as a member of his combat troops.

From her humble origins in the plains, Lyn has been noted as a deep, caring, and kind-hearted soul. She rarely thinks ill of others and, despite the circumstances, always believes in the best of things. However, due to the slaughtering of the Lorca tribe, she has a great hatred toward all bandits and pirates and refuses to be associated with them unless needed to. So much so, that the initial motivation for her travels was to become stronger in order to retaliate against the bandits in order to avenge her people. However, she does show tolerance to such types depending on the situation, though she is rather slow to trust them.

Her full name is Lyndis.

While a very high-ranking noblewoman, Linde is not the type to sit around and watch the world burn around her, as though somewhat used to her privileges, she endures many hardships that would break most people by adapting to the situation.

The loss of her father deeply affects her in both good and bad ways, since she strongly desires revenge, but made her relate with those who lost family more easily.

Minerva is princess of the country of Macedon, and the middle sibling of the Macedonian royal family. She is a wyvern rider and leader of the Whitewings. Maintaining an air of class and composure, Minerva is a blunt, direct, yet refined individual with a tendency to come off as rather strict and intimidating. However, behind her general deportment, Minerva is kind, genuine, and often an elder sister figure towards those who are close to her. Growing up in her older brother Michalis's shadow, Minerva has always been hypercritical of herself and has cripplingly low self-esteem, as she detests praise, being in positions of reverence, or being idolized by Maria, her younger sister.

A stoic mercenary who is also known by the alias "Crimson Fencer", Navarre is infamous for the dual-wielding fighting style that he employs with the eastern Killing Edge blade. Cold, calm and aloof, Navarre is depicted as the stereotypical lone wolf, where he has the tendency to work alone and entirely out of his own personal motivations. He has described himself as a killer, only utilizing his skills to improve his fighting abilities and is constantly seeking out stronger swordsmen on his quest for power. Thus he is not bound to any nation or cause except to the ones who will give him the biggest pay or will offer him the biggest challenge. He has not, however, completely abandoned his humanity, a fact that is evidenced through his resolve to not reign harm upon both women and children and instead seek to protect them.

Tiki is one of the Manakete, a race of people able to transform into dragons with the use of a dragonstone. 

Tiki is a typical child having an innocent outlook on life and easily attaches to others. As a result of Tiki's long slumber, she hates falling asleep as it had left her alone for several hundred years. She also refuses to eat vegetables unless they have been pickled first. She shares a closeness with Marth and Bantu, and calls them by cutesy nicknames.

Celica is a kind and polite person, who is often bold yet refined, but she holds herself back emotionally to an extent after a series of traumatic events and familial loss; as a result, she can come off as cold and stoic, and normally maintain a aura of polite distance, as shown by her body language in cutscenes and sprites, which is subtly guarded and closed-off. She usually regrets showing her raw emotions, especially in the rare moments that she lashes out in anger, bitterness, or even sentiment. Celica feels the need that she has to set aside her emotional candor in order to fulfill her responsibilities as royalty. She is a firm believer in bringing peace without fighting, believing that fighting between one another is not the path towards peace and will always try to resolve conflicts peacefully. However, she is more than willing to put her life on the line and fight with her comrades in order to protect them. She also has been shown to be clumsy, and enjoys studying and reading.

Anna has appeared in every Fire Emblem game to date. She is a red-headed young woman and is commonly seen in a trademark pose with her index finger rested at her face and wearing a sly smile. Due to Anna being a multitude of individuals, her personality differs slightly between games. However, there are some consistent traits amongst each other. Anna is typically whimsical and jovial, tending to do things her own way.
