Guardian : Lost - An Original Animated Series (closed)

Project Overview

In a world where some special individuals are born with supernatural abilities, teenagers are given artifacts that further awaken these abilities and grant them the power to summon the entity responsible for their unique powers, their Guardian. Gabriel White is one such individual, but upon receiving his artifact he finds that he is unable to summon his Guardian and instead simply hears a distant and ghostly cry for help. Now, Gabriel sets out with his best friend Dorian to discover what power is hidden within his artifact and to find his lost Guardian.

This Casting call is for the roles needed for Episode 2 of the series. I will be updating this page as more roles are needed for later episodes. Also this project is not paid. Some roles may use mild profanity in dialogue and due to some of the themes of the series, this project is going to be rated TV14. Thank you for auditioning and for supporting this project!     WOW! First of all, I wanted to say how blown away I am at the response I received to this project! I was truly not expecting this many talented people to audition for my little project! You all definitely made reaaaally hard to cast, but that just means that everyone did a really good job! Now with that said, please congratulate the official cast of Guardian:Lost! I'm so excited to work with this amazing team of voice actors to bring this idea to life! Like I said in my previous update, though, do not be discouraged If you were not cast in this round. Again, these were only the roles needed for the first episode, I will update this casting call as the project needs more voices, so check back to audition again (and maybe follow the project to make it easier on you!)   • Deadline Approaching! Quick thanks + other info

    First, I would like to thank all of you who auditioned for this project!! I was really not expect for it to be this well received, but I am very thankful that it was! This response has inspired me to work hard and put lots of effort into this project! I have high hopes for it, after all! Next I would like to talk about the decision making process. I won’t be closing any roles or choosing any actors until the day after the deadline closes (Feb. 11, 2020). I want to give everyone the chance to audition and so if there is anyone who is still interested in auditioning, they have until midnight on the 10th! Hopefully this will allow everyone enough time to show off their tremendous talent! Lastly, when decisions are made, for those of you who were not chosen, this is not the end! As I said in the description of the casting call, this is only the roles required for the pilot episode! The second episode alone introduces 5 new characters, so please don’t give up! If you would still like to be involved in this project, just stick around and check back for when the casting call gets updated for episode 2! Finally I’d like to thank everyone again for showing this project so much support! It totally blows my mind that I have over 60 auditions to look over and choose from! Brutus is the Leader of the Flames of Furness, the smallest adventurer’s guild in the town of Furness. While his stature is imposing at first, he is more of a gentle giant. He likes to laugh and kid around, but sometimes he doesn’t know his own strength. He loves to fight and is always keen to accept a challenge.

  • (Menacingly) 

    And what can I help you two with?


  • (Proudly) 

    Sorry for the confusion, kid. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Brutus, Guild master of The Flames of Furness, the least popular guild in the entire city of Furness!

Mishi is a girl with a relaxed attitude and a sarcastic nature. She not only possesses the abilities of cats, but also the mentality of one. She spends lots of time napping and grooming herself and really enjoys time spent alone. She does, however, care deeply for her friends and shows them a much softer, trusting side. She is the newest guild member of the Flames of Furness having been there only for a year.

  • (Annoyed and a bit concerned)

Zephyr has an energetic personality and is talkative and sociable. Some may find him annoying, but that doesn’t stop him from striking up a conversation. Much like Brutus, he loves to fight, so they often spar with each other. He joined the Guild because he one day hopes to fly around the whole world.

  • Hm... If I had to guess, I'd say these kids just graduated. A couple of little baby birds ready to take flight!

Gabriel is a strong willed person with a strong sense of justice and a firm set of morals. He always fights for what he believes is right, although his stubbornness can put him in some undesirable situations.  He gets excited pretty easily and is generally a positive, happy person. This optimistic attitude quickly fades, however, if anyone he cares about is pit in any sort of danger and he can lose his temper quickly.

  • The exhibition! Come on hurry up! It's gonna start without us!

  • What's... happening? Guardian... where are you? Speak to me! Please say somethi-

    That's not it! That cant be it... Everyone else was ready, and I trained just as long and just as hard as them! So why did it feel like... like my Guardian was blocking me out? My artifact felt... empty.

Dorian is a laid back, brooding person who tends to keep to himself. The only person he really opens up to is Gabriel as they have been friends for as long as they can both remember. He likes to play it cool on the outside when on the inside he is a lot more expressive than he likes to show. His care-free attitude often conflicts with Gabriel's pro-active nature, causing Dorian to find himself being dragged along onto Gabriel's adventures.

  • No. You've been waiting for this moment. The only reason I even did all of this training was because I had to.

Kojin is the headmaster of the wielder training school in Furness. He is an ex-adventurer who was born and raised in the town and now watches over it lovingly. He is a gentle, wise, and compassionate man by nature, but do harm to his people or his land and you will feel his flames.

  • Now, each member of the graduating class will come up one by one to summon their artifact.

  • So... bright...

Chiffon is your classic fashionista. She is kind of obsessed with her appearance and is very confident in her skills as a Wielder. She is very talented at both fashion design and combat, so she is rightfully confident, but sometimes her confidence comes off as arrogance.

  • Oh don't worry Gabriel, you didnt miss much. That fight was soooo boring! The next one, however, is sure to be interesting.

Yukio is extremely quiet and mysterious. He really only speaks to utter commands for his attacks. He isn't very expressive and his words often sound melancholic and soft spoken.

The mysterious man is only in the first episode for one tiny moment, but returns later on as a more important character, appearing in at least two more episodes. He has a calm voice with a sinister feeling to it and speaks confidently.
