New Lead Role
A new female lead role has been added to the project. Depending on auditions, I may push the deadline back some, but I still intend to cast as many roles as possible on or before May 31st.
Final Fantasy XV Audio Drama (book 3): Restored
Project Overview
The project:
“Reina Lucis Caelum lived ten years of darkness awaiting her brother's return, at the end of which time... she woke up on May 15th, 756. The day before her father died. Now, against her father's orders, she returns to Insomnia with Noctis and co in tow, armed with the knowledge of everything that will occur in the next two days.”
This is an audio drama based off of a Final Fantasy XV fanfiction series (https://archiveofourown.org/works/18231641/chapters/43135829). We are currently producing the third story in the series, which is to be released in three episodes. What to expect:
You can expect that the work you are a part of will be at least up to the standard of the previous episodes on our YouTube (linked above). You can expect to be working alongside the talented actors featured in the previous episodes. You can expect that we will complete projects in a timely manner (~2 months per episode) and that you will get feedback and updates throughout.
You can also expect that you’ll need to hit the ground running if you are cast. The actors that have carried over from the previous project already have access to the script and have been recording. Usually I will give you a month to read through the script, record, and send your lines in, but for this first episode I’ll ask that you move a little more quickly.
You can expect to be featured in at least three one hour episodes. The series, however, continues after this story and it is likely that the next story will be adapted as well. In which case, you can expect to be the lead for an as-of-yet unknown number of episodes in the future.
If you’re a capable singer, you can also expect that I’ll make use of that.
You can expect that I will write you a glowing recommendation if you would like me to.
What I expect:
A good mic: I expect you to have pretty decent sound quality. Background noise and plosives aren’t a problem (unless it’s extreme) with good editing, but there’s no good way to deal with muffled or echo-y audio. Please audition with quality audio.
Dedication: As I mentioned above, this is a long term project. I expect you to stick around for at least the next three episodes, which will probably take ~6 months. If you choose not to stick around after that’s fine, but I will offer the role to you again for the next story in the series, provided you’re fitting in well.
Understanding of Context: I expect that you will do what is necessary to understand your role. For lead roles this will be a lot more work than for extras. Whether that includes a familiarity with the FFXV game (playing or watching), and/or the Kingsglaive movie (which relates heavily to this story). At the very least I expect that you will read the entire scenes that your character is in and not just take every line out of context. I should not need to explain to you that "Hey" is spoken as a greeting when the context of the script makes it clear.
Responsiveness: We do all our communication on Discord. You’ll need a discord account which you check frequently enough that people can get in touch with you if necessary.

Character Description: Reina is the twin sister of Noctis Lucis Caelum and the princess of Lucis. She has spent the last ten years of her life living a dream that never happened, where she learned terrible things about not only her world, but herself. To say she has been disillusioned would be an understatement. Once the perfect picture of a princess, she has fallen into darkness and awoken a sadistic and jaded woman who cares nothing for the lives of anyone, save her loved ones. And she will do anything necessary to protect them.
Voice Type: Mid-pitch. Clear and cultured tones, swinging from cold to powerful as necessary.
Note: The call is for an English accent because that’s fairly common. You get brownie points if you can do a northern English accent. You also get brownie points if you can sing, so if you’d like, feel free to include a sample.
(LAUGHS, STARTING LOW AND QUIET AND BUILDING) (DARKLY) I never said I was going to kill you. (LIKE ARDYN) Aw. Poor. Little. Traitor. So naive. (DARKLY) This is day one. Only three thousand, six hundred and forty nine to go.
What my father does or does not like is immaterial at this moment. Allow me to be perfectly frank. (COLD, DARK, WITH GROWING INTENSITY) The only thing that I care about right now is keeping my family and friends safe. You and your Astrals and your crystal and your Starscourge and everything else can go to hell. Eos and everyone on it mean nothing to me if my family is dead. (BEAT) But when they are safe then I will be free to think of other wrongs that may exist in our world. And I’ll have all this power to put to use against them.

Character description: Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum: crown prince of Lucis and twin brother of Reina Lucis Caelum. He begins this story as an indifferent young man on his way to a political wedding (not necessarily against his will, but not his idea either) and throughout the course of the story begins to step into his role as Prince of Lucis and heir to the throne, becoming both more responsible and more commanding throughout the siege on his home city of Insomnia.
Voice type: Young adult male, american accent, probably baritone-ish, with an often drawling or bored quality.
Note: This is a large part with narration and dialogue aspects to it. I also like to have leads cover songs for the credits: if you can sing, be sure to mention it and/or attach a sample!
(NARRATING) It took seventeen minutes from the time Rei left the Regalia to when the city gates opened, so Ignis owed me two hundred gil. He was never going to pay, but at least I could hold it over him for the rest of our lives. From the sound of things, that wasn’t going to be very long. After the gates opened, Ignis drove us into the city and straight to the Citadel. Half a dozen Crownsguards were waiting for us outside.
(COMPLAINING) Man, I thought we just got out of here. What happened to the wedding?(CALLING OUT) Don’t you dare die on me, Specs!
(DISMISSIVE) Yeah, yeah. Keep out of sight. Got it. I don’t want to be seen, I just wanna see.

Character reference: Titus Drautos / General Glauca from FFXV Kingsglaive
Character description: Drautos is the primary villain of the story. Though he serves the Kingdom of Lucis as the Captain of the Kingsglaive, he is in truth a traitor to the throne and stands on the side of the Empire of Niflheim as General Glauca. In this story, he is unmasked and faces torment and torture at the hands of a twisted protagonist, but eventually breaks free and makes one last effort to bring Lucis (and his previous tormentor, Princess Reina) to its knees.
Voice type: Adult to middle-aged male, American accent, baritone to bass, with powerful and often sharp tones.

He is a member of Prince Noctis' retinue and the comic relief character of the bunch.
