Final Fantasy Tactics Fandub, Chapter 2.
Project Overview
This is a fandub of Final Fantsy Tactics: The War of the Lions. One of my favorite games of all time. I hope to finish the whole fandub before the Remaster version comes out on September 30th. I finished the first of four chapters last year and I believe I can get the rest done in time with YOUR help. Thanks for reading!

The princess of Ivalice. Ovelia has lived most of her entire life within a monastery where she studied under the priests there, more of an asset of the royal family's being kept safe for potential use later. She is one of the female co-leads and one party of the story's romance subplot. In this chapter she has just been kidnapped and the Captain of her guard, The Holy Knight Agrias, is hot in pursuit. When she is found she is being defended by her kidnapper(Delita) from Northern-Sky knights who have been sent to kill her. They win and Delita leaves the princess in the care of the Hero's party but claims their protection will be insufficient and only he can keep her safe. Later she has been captured again and upon learning the truth of her origin she willing becomes a puppet for the sake of her own survival. Delita was involved with this as well betraying the trust she had in him, but he defends her again later and she admits she must trust him at least a little. The story gets more complicated later as she develops feelings for Delita but fears him as well. This is a rather tragic character, not a sassy one.
Direction per line
1. The battle is over and Ovelia rescued, she thanks Delita as he leaves believing him a good-natured man.
2. Ovelia is in a dungeon with Delita standing over her, she is trying to be defiant.
3. Delita has saved her life yet again, Ovelia knows he intends to use her but she follows him anyway.

It appears...I have no choice.
The leader of the Knights Templar. Folmarv (46) is an extremely powerful man both in station and in terms of personal power. He isn't a public figure however and most wouldn't recognize him. Folmarv is the main antagonist of the entire story and plays a part in all later chapters. It takes much time but is eventually revealed that much of the conflict in the story exists because of Folmarv's plans. He has no time for nonsense and usually makes his intentions known right away. A father of two, he seems to care little or maybe nothing for his children who serve him and his organization.

A 17 year old man who worked with his father as a machinist. They came into conflict with a crime boss and Mustadio needed to flee but the crime boss captured his father. Mustadio joins the hero's party with the intention to entreat aid for his father from the most powerful man in the region. Mustadio is street smart but doesn't know how to act around nobility. He's also nervous about revealing too much of the details of his plight around strangers despite desperately needing their help. He is hunted by the crime boss only because he asked him for help.

But it -did- exist. The ground beneath Goug holds the hulks of airships, and a thousand fragments of machines the gods alone know the working of.

A war hero and at the same time a man of the cloth. The Cardinal (52) is highly respected across the kingdom and loved by the local population. When first met he is a kind and shrewd man who offers help readily. We find out later that the cardinal also commands the boss of the largest local criminal organization, and is secretly a member of another, far more dangerous group. When he is confronted by the hero he is still willing to negotiate to avoid a fight but has utter confidence in his power. The main villain of this chapter.

A demon or Lucavi who possesses the body of Cardinal Delacroix. It's excited about killing the hero. He is based on the Irish demigod/hero, more specifically the monsterous side of that hero whose insides would swap with his outsides and grow to Hulk-like proportions. He's fat, gross, pale, and he's got a big old mouth in his stomach. He's defeated after a fight and explodes shortly after his second line. Get monstrous with it! I use male pronouns but if any ladies or gender-neutral folks wanna take a crack please go ahead. Voice modulation is also OK.

Owner of the Baert Trading Company, Ludovich (55) uses his legitimate company as a front for more illicit activities, Ludovich is in reality the boss of the largest crime syndicate in the region. Despite this, Ludovich himself works for Cardinal Delacroix. And it is on the Cardinal's order that he is attempting to retrieve the magic stone from Mustadio using whatever means needed. Wears his wealth openly.

I'm a reasonable man. I just want the auracite. Once I have it, I'll loose him soon enough. So, where have you hidden it? Tell me!
Your Eminence, you cannot mean to trust this to a man like -that-!
The father of Mustadio. Besrudio (42) is a machinist who initially went to a man named Ludovich for aid in his work, most likely funding. Ludovich turned out to be a crime boss who wanted the magic stone Besrudio and Mustadio had discovered. Afraid of the damage Ludovich could do with the power of the stone, he had his son Mustadio flee with it to beg aid of Cardinal Delacroix.

Ludovich will use it to wake the machines beneath the city. In time, he may even learn to harness the sacred power of the Stone itself.
A knight templar who focuses on magic. In this scene he is recruiting a rebel leader to the templars. He has more to do in later chapters. Loffrey (35) is very intelligent, able to read ancient writing and perform powerful magicks. He is also very dedicated to his organization's cause. The last sample line is when Loffrey is defeated and is now dying.

A mercenary hired to kill the hero and his party, he is negotiating with his client in the scene. The client carries a great deal of institutional power and is not taken lightly. In the sellsword's last line he sees one of his targets is another mercenary who is much more infamous. But he still intends to complete the job.

The leader of a pack of goblins, they've just cornered a chocobo. Goblin is addressing the chocobo. This is a monster and shouldn't sound human.

A member of a goblin pack that has cornered a chocobo. This one has just noticed some interlopers and sounds the alarm for its fellows. This is a monster and shouldn't sound human.

A chocobo (A large bird that acts as a rideable mount for the people of this world, this one is wild) that has been cornered by a pack of goblins after wandering too far into the woods. After the hero and party save it the chocobo joins them in gratitude. This is a monster and shouldn't sound human. Not scary though.

A member of the Order of the Northern Sky. This knight and his squad were tasked with killing the kingdom's princess and the one who kidnapped her as a part of a conspiracy. He attempts to negotiate at first. When more people come to aid the princess he orders the mercenary planted among them to kill them. He may sound like a noble good meaning person at first but the mask comes off at the end.

What foolishness is this? We came to save the princess, not to kill her!
Hmm. It seems we are no longer alone. Gaffgarion! Kill them all!
A criminal enforcer hired to retrieve a young man fleeing from the criminal's boss. The stone the young man has is the primary objective but killing him to get it is very much on the table.

It's simple. Give us the auracite, and your father lives. Right, then. Seize him!
A criminal hired to retrieve a young man. He'd rather not have to fight the hero and his party but will.

Pity. We'll have the boy by force, then!
A man who guards the gate of the castle of Lionel. Lionel castle is held by a religious leader of high standing. The position is not ceremonial, the guard is ready to die doing his duty.

The graces of Saint Ajora are in the keeping of His Eminence here. All who seek those graces are given like treatment - the gates of Lionel stand open to them. Raise the gate!
A criminal enforcer working for Ludovich Baert. He's trying to enter the residence of Mustadio and Besrudio ready to commit theft, kidnapping or murder. Don't actually make a noise for knocking on the door.

One of the Cardinal's soldiers, he's been tasked with capturing the Lady Knight Agrias Oaks. He and his squad have just caught up to her. His second line ends with him seeing that not only has his squad found his quarry but also the hero's party.

One of the knights of the Order of the Northern Sky. He and his party have happened upon Princess Ovelia and the one escorting her. The knight is under orders to kill the princess on sight.
