FCKD UP EXOGISM

Project Overview

Francesca wakes up in the whacky city “Enromaria” with no recollection of her life before. She goes on a quest to find her missing memories through antique Objects, which she collects for Lucius, with the help of her new friend Fylip. But soon they uncover that the city hides more than meets the eye.

This is project is led by STUDIO GOOBEX (https://www.instagram.com/studio_goobex), as well as a smaller group of animation students!
We wanted to combine the off-beat comedy of shows like Smiling Friends, with the unparalleled mystery of Gravity Falls, brought together by early 2000s aesthetics like Shibuya Punk and Grind Fiction.
We pride ourselves on our mixed media approach, combining a 3D pipeline with 2D animated elements, and a few more surprises ;D.

We are planning to complete the pilot this year, since it is a part of a university course we are taking. If the pilot is received well, we are definitely looking to continue the show!

  • Auditions finished!!!

    Heyo everybody!

    Thank you so so much to everyone who auditioned!!! There were so many talented people, to no small part thanks to Hannah, who shared that we were still looking for people on Twitter, that was such a huge help ♡

    But at last, we had to make our decisions. Congrats to:

    Dontae, who will be our Lucius :D
    Eric, who will be our announcer :O
    And Queenvayness, Robin, Eli, Corey and Jared, who are our additional voices !!!

  • Deadline extensions!

    Heyo!

    This is specifically to those who have auditioned for previous roles, or anyone else wo wants to be part of FCKED UP EXOGISM, but hasn't found a role fit for them: we are looking for additional small speaking roles! We've been extending the deadline every week to give as many people a chance to audition (as the project isn't searchable on the main page anymore).

    That said, after the current roles are cast, we are fully stocked with voice actors for the first episode. We are very hopeful that we'll get to produce a second episode, but until then we are fully reliant on everyone's support, which we are super grateful for!!!!!

    Production is going really well, and we have even posted a few animation tests on Instagram already (@Junkschedel), and I've also been periodically posting little behind the scenes snippets (@kinekine.art), so anyone interested is more than welcome to follow our progress on there :)

    We'll continue holding auditions on here, though! So keep your eyes peeled for that in the future.

  • Francesca and Fylip have their voices now!

    Heyo everyone !

    We are extremely grateful for the amount of auditions we got, and want to sincerely thank everyone who thought this project was cool enough to want to be part of it!!! Seriously, we did not expect such a positive response, and we had a blast going through the auditions, there were so many talented people!

    But, drumroll please, we have made our choice! Congratulations to Hannah and Asher, happy to have you on board :D

    But don't be disappointed if you weren't chosen, there will still be a ton of whacky characters that may need your voice ;D Matter of fact, we are opening auditions for our dear Lucius in the next few days, so stay tuned for that~

Lucius is the laid back owner of Enromaria's most popular (and only) antique shop! He is eccentric and has a heart of gold, often going out of his way to do favours for the people he likes. But in the end, his top priority will be collecting all kinds of rarities, no matter how shady the source might be.

He has a deep, but comforting voice. We would love for him to have a different accent than our two protagonists, who have general American accents, but we are overall very open! We would also prefer a person of colour to voice Lucius, but ultimately anyone is welcome to audition!
