"Echoes of Agony" - A Five Nights at Freddy's Minecraft Series

Project Overview

NOTE: Logo seen is NOT final logo.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

ECHOES OF AGONY is an ambitious reimagining and expansion of the Five Nights at Freddy's timeline, designed to make the complex lore accessible and emotionally compelling for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.

What if the horror had a human story behind it?

While the FNAF games give us glimpses of tragedy through minigames and hidden lore, we never see the full human cost—the friendships, the families, the choices that led to everything going wrong. Echoes of Agony fills those gaps, showing the complete story from the beginning.

SERIES SYNOPSIS:

Era 1: The Dark Age (1963-1979)

Long before Freddy Fazbear's Pizza became a name associated with horror, there was Hurricane, Utah—a small desert town where three friends built something they believed would bring joy to families.

Edwin Murray arrives in 1963 carrying his father's debt and grief, barely keeping Murray's Costume Manor afloat. William Afton arrives with ambition and intelligence. When Henry Emily and his wife Elizabeth move to Hurricane in 1964, six people form a friendship that feels unbreakable.

Through love, marriage, and the birth of their children, they build lives that finally feel complete. When they partner to create Fredbear's Family Diner in 1972, it seems like the culmination of everything they've worked for.

But tragedy doesn't announce itself.

What follows is a descent into grief-driven obsession that will create the franchise's deadliest threat. Edwin's attempts to resurrect what he's lost through revolutionary AI technology will give birth to the Mimic—a learning machine that absorbs violence, rage, and the worst of what humans can teach it.

This is the story of how good people, destroyed by loss, created something that learned to kill.

WHY THIS REIMAGINING?

FOR FNAF FANS:

  • Canon-compliant with Tales from the Pizzaplex & Game Canon (Edwin Murray, the Mimic origin)

  • Explains WHO the Mimic is and WHY it exists
