Dragnarok - Episode 2
Project Overview
**[PLEASE READ CAREFULLY]**
This is a casting call for EPISODE 2 of a fan-dub video series I'm making of the original Webtoons comic. I take every individual comic panel and add movement, visual and audio effects, music and voice actors to create an immersive experience and bring the drawings to life.
Watch EPISODE ONE (above) to see the quality of the final product and SUBSCRIBE to the channel if you like. Viewers discretion advised as contains blood and gore.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
- This is an ongoing project. You must be able to commit long term
- A very good quality microphone - Poor audio quality submissions will not be considered
- Ability to express emotion
- Submit a couple of variations per audition line
- If you have Discord this would be handy as I plan to use this to manage cast and project.
STORY
Dragnarok is a fantasy story set in Aradel, the world where humans and dragons used to live together in peace and harmony. After the sixth Dragon God (or Dragnarok) tried to create an artificial human, his experiment went wrong and spread a disease, making a number of the good people of Aradel corrupted, or Cursed, as they were called. The Council of the Dragnaroks trapped the offending Dragnarok in a prison and put him in an eternal sleep. The Cursed ravaged Aradel, as citizens fled to the North, where it was safe for them

Joktan is Net and Ime's uncle and he has been their guardian since they were little. He is a humble, kind-hearted man. Vocals should be slightly gruff but remember he is a soft-natured man, so not so aggresive.
(Reading a story to Net & Ime)
Prius’s descendants inherited their father’s magical abilities. To fully use the potential they had, however, they needed spells that Prius had described in this book. But these spells should not be used for evil and impure deeds.There are many people like you. But there is only one book. You were chosen to protect it. The spells written in this book are really powerful. You must never let it fall in the wrong hands.

Net is a free-spirited, curious young lady. She has lots of energy and a strong will and bond with her uncle (Joktan) and brother (Ime). Her voice should be charismatic and bubbly, while head-strong. She is not a damsel
(Joktan let's Net know he has found the book they've been searching for. She is excited)
Really?! Can I see it? I want to know the secret!(After Joktan has explained to them their magical heritage. Net is curious)
I don’t understand, What does it mean?(Her brother (Ime) is about to investigate the painful screams outside)
Ime, please! Don’t leave me alone!
Kristel is the bandit leader, seeking a book that contains hidden spells that could bring him power to overthrow countless cities. Vocal should be quite sinister, but he is also a great warrior so there is maturity and strength in his voice also.
Where is the book?
(To his henchmen) He knew about the book. That means it has to be here somewhere. Search the house!
You will tell me everything I want to know. Unless you wish for a long and painful death. Ha ha ha ha! (Laugh is sinister and subtle)
He is a skinny and pale person. I imagine him sounding a little slithery and sinister. Soft spoken generally but a little raspy.
(He finds a hidden space in the cabin and some noises behind it)
"Impossible! I could have sworn I checked there!... It's probably a mouse."(He accidentally gets stabbed in the top of the arm)
"AAAAAAHHHHH!" (Some deep painful breathes) "My arm!"(In the forest, he finds a child. Potentially one of the people they're searching for. He calls out to his comrad)
"Hey, Bazg! I think I found one!"
(Bazg is pronounced Baz-g (as in 'goat')
