Deltarune Dub- Minor/Extra Roles
Project Overview
I know Deltarune has been in progress for a little while now, but what we have so far is amazing! Who wouldn't want to explore and create their own interpretations for all these fun characters? You would, right? That's great! You've come to the right place.
There is already an Undertale dub, and I encourage you to check it out (https://www.castingcall.club/projects/undertale-blade-s-dub) However, I wanted to also try this out as I find Deltarune's characters a little refreshing after being obsessed with the Undertale characters for so long. There are so many diverse and fun characters, and I'm very excited to hear your interpretations for a full length dub!
That being said, there are just a few requirements:
- Have a decent mic quality. It doesn't have to be fancy, just intelligible!
- Please put your Discord user and tag in your submission comment.
- Please include 2-3 takes of each line. If the line is long, 1-2 takes will do.
- Try your best and have fun! :D
I will not be doing callbacks for these roles; I will be casting them as I go.
Just because it says "minor/extra" roles, that doesn't mean that these characters are insignificant in any way! These are fun characters. I'm excited to hear your interpretations!

I've decided to start casting people today. The original deadline was tomorrow, but I found that I have more time today to cast because of school/extracurriculars, etc. Thank you for understanding and good luck!

"King is a cold-hearted Darkner with little compassion towards his subjects and only considers his own wishes. He appears to be power-hungry, evident by his constant wishes of gaining control of the World along with his following of Knight's plan to capture the three other kings. King also displays signs of abuse towards his son Lancer, in which he often neglects him and even uses him as a hostage to gain the upper hand in battle. During the final fight, it is revealed that King's loyalty lies solely with the Knight, and that he'll do anything to avoid failing them; to the point of threatening to kill Lancer if Kris, Ralsei, and Susie do not surrender." (King, Deltarune Wiki)
How dare you come here, Lightners...? You, that left us in the shadows, stripped of meaning... You DARE return to torment us once again? Begone! We have found fresh purpose. For the KNIGHT has appeared.
...ha, you're quite strong, aren't you?! If I keep fighting you like this, then... It seems... that...
Silence, Lightbringer! Your very existence goes against our own... By the Knight's will, I shall shatter your heart to pieces!
"A jovial and lighthearted person, Rudy resembles Sans in his use of humor and jokes to lighten the mood, and is lively and talkative despite his medical condition. He is close with and protective of Noelle and likes playing video games with her. He is supportive of Noelle's desire to pursue her crush on Susie but dislikes her schoolmate Berdly, calling him "Nerdly" and facetiously threatening to throw something at him through the hospital window." (Rudolph Holiday, Deltarune Wiki)
Noelle, sweetheart. The first time I laid eyes on your mother, I walked right up to her and told her she was a HOT piece of work.
Anyhow, how's Dragon Blazers III? Beat it yet?
Bird guy again? What's his name? Nerdly? Bring him by the window! I'll throw something at him!
"Swatch conducts themself in a polite but reserved manner. They value customer service, and seem to enjoy working at the Color Cafe. Spamton in particular was noted to once be particularly valued by the cafe, but these feelings appear to have all but faded with his degeneration, with Swatch noticably becoming uncomfortable with the subject. While never overtly expressing their disdain, their dialogue does seem to betray some level of jadedness with Queen. Much more apparently, they express exasperation from their various encounters with Rouxls Kaard, although are quick to attempt backtrack on that as well." (Swatch, Deltarune WIKI)
Ah, forgive me for not introducing myself sooner, young masters. I am Swatch, Our Lady Grace's head butler. When we are not attending to her needs, I and the Queen's other staff use this room as our humble, yet colorful gift-shop-slash-cafe. Please, shop to your heart's content.
Rouxls? I am afraid I am not familiar with a guest of that moniker... Ah, wait. Are you perchance referring to that unbearable-- err... UNIQUE man who barged in here and demanded to be made "Butler Supremeth"? I am afraid that person... is not banned from this establishment. Please do not mention him again.
Please come again. We'll be waiting for you with rose-tinted glasses...
Catti met Jockington in their first gym class, on Hula Hoop Day, when the school ran out of hula hoops for them and she used him instead. After Alphys pairs Kris with Susie for the project, Catti warns them not to die.
...taken.
(A line of your choice)
(A line of your choice)
"He has a "cool" personality, and he moves erratically when he speaks. His speech pattern includes improper use of commas. If asked to partner with Kris for the group project, he explains that he already has Catti as a partner, and reminisces that they have been partners ever since their first gym class, Hula Hoop Day, when the school ran out of hoops and Catti used him instead. After Alphys pairs Kris with Susie for the project, Jockington says that he would take off his cool hat in Kris's memory if he had arms."
Kris! You KNOW Jockington and Catti, are ALWAYS partners!
"Monster Kid, a returning character from Undertale, is Snowy's academic partner. An armless yellow lizard-like monster with several lighter yellow spikes on their head and protruding front teeth, they appear older than their Undertale counterpart. They wear an orange shirt with a pocket on the left, brown trousers, and a cross on a chain around their neck. They laugh frequently while speaking and sits in the middle row of Alphys's class, behind Temmie, in front of Snowdrake, and with Kris to their left. "
Yo Kris! Show up earlier next time!
Yo, Kris... You look kinda annoyed. Everything OK?
"Snowy, who resembles Undertale's Snowdrake, sits in the rightmost column in Alphys's class, with Monster Kid in front of him and Susie to his left.
When talked to, he tells Kris a cowboy joke and asks them whether they like it. He then tells Kris that he already has a partner and to scram. When talking to Monster Kid, they tell Kris that Snowy keeps turning to them and saying "Howdy, Partner!" like a cowboy. "
Well, I got news for you, pal. I already got a partner! Scram!!
...That's actually not even remotely funny.
You can audition with the given line or do some improvisation! Improvisation with Tem should be fun. >:)

Looks like you got past Nubert's forcefeild. As a prize, have Nubert's treasure.
Nuelle, huh? Not a bad name, says Nubert.
"Clover is a hydra-like mini-boss encountered in the Forest. During the events of Chapter 1, she is celebrating her birthday and after being defeated can be seen partying in the Card Castle."
She would probably require the same VA, just with different versions of their voice.

Let's celebrate my birthday~! / Yeah, get ready to HURT! / Oh, I'm s-sorry for this...!

Malius is a smith found in the Bake Sale area Chapter 1, and the Bakery in Chapter 2. Maluis offers to either heal the party or to fuse their items.
Well, well, well, I am the smith Malius. I can fix anything. Weapon, armor, I can even fix you! Well, well, what will it be?
Your body is a weapon too. You must take care of it from time to time.
Well, well! Don't you feel better after a nice massage? Huh-Ha!!

"Top Chef is passionate for baking and shows great esteem of their baking abilities. He is, however, very emotional and prone to express sadness when his skills don't get the respect he thinks they deserve, or when his work is vandalized." (Top Chef, Deltarune Wiki)
Mama miba! I'm TOPCHEF!
A beast was hunched on the table, eating cake like an animal!
I spritzed it with water, it hissed and ran off! But my wonderful cake is...
Trashy is a Darkner from the Cyber World. He can first be encountered in Cyber City's Trash Zone. He travels to Castle Town at the end of Chapter 2.
Trashy serves to contrast with Nubert, who both live together in the Trash Zone—everyone loves for Nubert for seemingly no reason, whereas everyone seems to dislike Trashy.
Oh boy, oh boy, I'm Trashy! Did you know about adjusting your inventory?
Trashcans like me can hold all sorts of things.
Oh.... Oh... That's okay...
Virovirokun are based on computer viruses, and as such have a sickly appearance. They are composed of abstract triangles and arrows with a purple, magenta, and cyan color scheme.
Happy new year 1997!
I've got a love letter for you.
Kindness is contagious!
In a cell to the southwest of Susie's cell in the Card Castle Prison, a pair of eyes can be seen in the darkness. If the party speaks to them, they bemoan what the world is coming to for King to imprison even them: "And I'm only a pair of eyes!".
I'm just a pair of eyes!
Yeah, even I got arrested...
"On the eastern end of the prison level, beyond the elevator, there are four brightly colored wheeled circus wagons with tails and smiling lion faces. Each wagon is a cage that contains prisoners, but their lion heads can talk to the party as well. The leftmost wagon contains the Three Kings; the rightmost contains a number of animals; while the middle two contain, respectively, a Jigsawry arrested for illegally making a puzzle and a Rudinn that refused to fight the party."
(Oh, oh. I'm just the cage.)
(No one talks to me!)
This requires only one voice as the Clover and Hathy kings have no dialogue.
"The three other Kings, who were captured when the Knight appeared, are imprisoned in the leftmost circus wagon in the prison. The King of Clubs is a Clove-like Darkner, the King of Hearts is a Hathy, and the King of Diamonds is a Rudinn-like Darkner, with four arms as opposed to the single visible one Rudinns have."
Woe! Oh, woe! We are the three Former Kings! We beg you, free us!
A bunch of brown animals, resembling animal crackers, are crammed into one cage and lament the presence of the other prisoners.
(Us animals used to be alone in these cages.)
(Now everyone's here.)
Pippins (singular and plural) are diamond-shaped Darkners that are based on dice. They appear in the crowd that overthrows the King if the party did not defeat any enemies violently. Their name is not mentioned in-game, but is found in the game data. "Pippins" may be a play on "pip", the markings on a dice.
He he he... Looks like the fighting wasn't in the cards for us.
Two particular Werewires appear in the City. They are not hostile and are able to talk. They are dressed in maroon suits.
I heard the roller-coasters are undergoing maintenance.
That's a pain because it's our only form of public transit.
A light blue, square headed figure with 4 pink dots and a pink cross on its head can be found above the Ferris Wheel poster.
They state they are seeking help for a friend with existential dread who looks exactly like them, suggesting that they are talking about themselves. This gets subverted when their friend shows up, opening a nearby door to point out they are the one being talked about. Ironically, the friend appears much happier than the one outdoors.
Hey, got any way to deal with crushing, existential dread?
Plugboys are main citizens of the Cyber Field. They are pink-colored, short with two horns and a face shaped like an electrical socket. Many of them are turned into Werewires by Queen.
The wires... the wires... Everyone was... e-everyone else has been... S-Save us, she's going to...
Fommt.can be found pirouetting in Cyber Field, in the area right after the Junk Shop. Their appearance is that of a red compact floppy disk with white arms and legs, but, despite that, they do not have any idea what SAVING is.
Hee hee hee... Shall I help you SAVE?
The Royal Coat Rack is a Darkner who can be encountered in Forest. It resembles a gray metal jack with two eyes that protrude from between four of its spikes, while the last two spikes append an elongated body and act as legs. Along with Little Ball, it guards the chest that contains Ragger.
I used to work at the castle until the King fired all the STAFF.
Little Ball is a Darkner the party can encounter in Forest. It resembles a small, shiny pink ball with blue lines of discouragement on its face. Along with the Royal Coat Rack, it sits beside the chest that contains the Ragger. If spoken to, it mumbles that it's just a little ball and doesn't want to discuss anything.
(There's nothing to sphere except sphere itself.)
The Blue Blocks are Darkners the party can encounter in Forest. They are light blue, roughly square-shaped with rounded corners, and have pointy yellow feet and darker blue letters surrounding their eyes. B blocks have two eyes and a visible mouth, while O blocks have only a single eye and no visible mouth. They tend to add their letters to words where they don't belong.
The King wants to o-liminate Lightners but... we didn't o-gree with that.
The Worm is a Darkner and minor NPC the party can encounter in Forest.
The Worm is a worm or caterpillar-like creature and consists of multiple segments of alternating colors in white, green, and pink. It has rosy cheeks adorning its face and two green antennae protruding out of its head. It makes its home by a tree whose leaves are falling.
Before the King came along, I used to eat the leaves from this tree...
Such is the way of the worm...
oh… i accidentally returned my personal journal instead of my book… oh no… they’re putting it into their catalogue… oh no… i have to take it out every time i want to write a new entry…
"A bearish monster wearing a suit and tie, resembling Undertales's Politics Bear, is first seen on a street corner outside as Toriel drives Kris to school. After Kris returns from the Dark World, he can be found in the Town Hall. He describes the mayor as an icy person with negative charisma who runs unopposed because of her work ethic and good track record, and further notes that the mayor likes to keep her office's air conditioner running full blast, wondering if the chill is what politics feels like."
The mayor’s charisma is about zero. No, it’s negative.
Thaaaaaat’s politics. Rarely.
Starwalker is a hidden NPC who can first be encountered in the Forest. In Chapter 2, Starwalker can also become a Key item.
These birds are pissing me off... I'm the original Starwalker.
This jail is pissing me off... I'm the original Starwalker.
