Project Overview
This is a series me and a friend of mine for almost four years. It was first a novella (which I finished), a oneshot comic (a spinoff with a bear and squirrel mafia), and now I want to make it into something! Something like an audio drama or a shortfilm.
All that is need at this point is the recorded lines, as I'm only a quarter of the way done with the first script. The deadline for tryouts shouldn't really be much of a problem, as the cutoff date is set to June 14th of 2017 (my birthday). Also, good quality mics are A MUST! If you need a popfilter, go out and buy one, or just wrap a [preferably clean] sock around the microphone. A Pop-Filter eliminates the unecessary noises from "Bs" and "Ps".
What's this about? :
It stars a gentleman fox known as Jeff Crimson, who is also an intrepid bounty hunter in the underground world. He is accompanied by a streetbird named Chirp, an expert in knives and weapons, as well as a Kamen war vet (this world's version of Vietnam). The year is unknown, but takes place in a future where flying cars and teleporters are possible. This series blends Film Noir and the Thriller, femme fatales and the dangerous situations, greed and the drugs, truths and the lies. You'll just have to wait until it's finished to find out what happens!!
UPDATE 12/21/2015: I'm almost a quarter of the way done! Just to where things get really interesting! Also, I will be posting more roles soon, as the still developing script might need some extra characters. Merry [Insert Holiday Here] Everyone!!
UPDATE 01/19/2018: I'm currently at work with another script. I'm going to shelve the first one I made until later, and focus on this new one I just started. Things are going quite slowly, but that's how it goes when you're the only one writing! I'll keep you guys posted!

Azuki Miyoshi is the leader of the Bosozoku Usagi. She takes no nonsense and is somewhat of a sadist. She may seem too cutesy for a biker girl, but once she's angry, she STAYS angry. Her weapon of choice is a nightstick and a pocket brownie pistol. Her voice sounds almost like that of a child, but somewhat gruff. If you can't pull off a Japanese accent, that's fine. Give her whatever voice you see fit.

Valerie Sheret is one of Jeff's clients who later on becomes his main squeeze. She is a member of the Bosozoku Usagi (somewhat literal translation: "Rabbit Biker Gang"), which consists of Rabbits and Foxes. Valerie is a genius when it comes to fixing bikes and cars, and can tell you the secifications without looking inside the vehicles. Not much is really known of her past, but it's most likely that she had a rough upbringing; possibly daddy issues. She also had a brief stint as a nude model for a magazine known as "Yiff!". Her voice is low and breathy, but pronounced; like a crossover between Julie London and Eva Longoria.

This is Marco Dimaggio. He’s a no good pervert and he’s been stalking me for a few days. I need you two to take him out. This cat is bad news, as well as very dangerous.

Patricia is the daughter of Sheila and Dick. She is a hybrid of a fox and a wolf. Patricia is a little shy when around strangers, but the opposite when she's around people she knows. She is a wonderful artist, and has learnt how to fight from her mother.

Theodore Lucardo "Fat Teddy" Montana is the don of the Montana Mafia. He's most famous for making Fungi Honey (which is Honey with shrooms added). He has a right hand man, Squeaks, and a very stupid left hand man, Nut Hench. He's best described as gruff, no nonsense and straight-to-the-point. Even though Teddy hates people calling him Fat Teddy, he has learned to accept it. If the fat jokes get out of hand, watch out! He just might sit on you, or throw you out the window!
The mushrooms were on our property. Those bunny bastards will do anything to manipulate the truth. Hell, I was right there when my Grandpa made the honey himself! Everything was ours, and the Usagi family will stop at nothing to claim it as their own creation. Here’s our house and the honey farm. And there’s the Usagi house. The mushrooms, as you can see, are closer to our line of the property than theirs. That simple, right? So why can’t they see the facts in black and white?
Let him go. That bird is part family.

Aves Sorenson is a bald eagle that runs a vegetable cannery. The shipments of cans look like any generic foodstuff, but the contents inside are tainted with an illegal drug known only as "5-Y". He is also known to drink whole bottles of Tabasco sauce, as it's his drink of choice. He even has a flask full of it! Aves' voice sould sound old and quite deep.
Mr. Bushtail, is it? I've been expecting you. Care for some Tabasco?
As you can see, my cannery is top notch, and I treat my workers well. Care for a free sample? It'll literally open your mind!

This guy is basically the main character. He's a gentleman of a fox, and a great bounty hunter. He is known for taking out targets by means of a sniper's rifle and by using anything around him. He is best described as suave, polite, sometimes crass, and a little horny. His svoice should be a well blended mix of a Brooklyn accent with a slight Southern drawl.

Before you say anything else, Albino is quite the respected businessman. At least he’s trying to get us in on some of his turf. Think of all the money we’ll get from this. Not to mention all the girls. Especially some from the avian variety, eh? Eh?

Dick is Sheila's husband, and the father of Patricia. He has a regular ordinary job at an office. His parenting is often described as firm and strict. He always puts his family, including Jeff, first before anything else. Dick was a sharpshooter in his younger days, known as Richard the Ravishing, and sometimes accompanies Jeff on assignments when he has nothing better to do. He is also a professional poker player and knows a vast array of card tricks. His voice should sound like an ordinary person. For this role, speak in your normal voice without altering it in any way.

Jeff, you're like a brother to me. Sure, the jobs you do are a little questionable, but that doesn't matter. What matters right now is you, me, and that big bottle of bourbon!
Panda is a waitress at Jerry's Bar and Grill. She's usually nice, but not around smokers. Her voice is quite loud, and a little on the high side. She has a brother named Pan-Pan that's with the Montana Family Mafia.
Sir, there’s no smoking in this part of the restaurant. You’ll have to wait until you’re seated.

Albino is a longtime friend and rival of Jeff's. Chirp doesn't really like him, as he was wild and crazy in their platoon in the Kamen war. He is also a bounty hunter more known than Jeff, and runs the Black Paw Syndicate; a hideout for underground criminals and job offers. He is always calm and collected, and has a weird effect on anyone he's around (except for Jeff and Chirp). He is also rumored to be a hermaphrodite. His voice is a medium range, and almost sounds like a permanent orgasm (it's weird, I know, just go with it)!!
I guess it’s my eyes. You see, since they’re an unnatural shade of pink, they have a weird effect on anyone I talk to… of course, except for you two losers!
It’s all a family feud between the Bosozoku Usagi and the Montana Mafia. For three generations, these families have been fighting over who made the formula. Teddy’s Grandfather was the one who created the drug in which he mixed a certain wild mushroom with honey from the family farm. This farm, however, coincided with the Usagi’s wild mushroom crop, as you can clearly see why the feud started in the first place.
If you really insist, but keep in mind that this will be the only time I will give you free food.
Chirp is Jeff's partner. He is very skilled with knife-based weaponry, and has a vast knowledge of all sorts of weapons. He is best described as a foulmouthed, cranky womanizer who hates being called little or any synonym that relates to the word "small".

Sheila is Jeff's older sister. She is married to Richard "Dick" Richardson, a grey wolf. They have a daughter named Patricia, who is a hybrid of a wolf and a fox. Sheila is tough, sassy, and knows how to protect herself. She was the star of her school wrestling team and boxing team. Sheila is also a good cook and loves her brother and family more than anything else in the world. Her voice should sound tough, but motherly.
Hey, brother! How's your business going?
Would you like to stay for some supper? I'm making mom's famous beef casserole!
Jeffrey, please be careful out there. I don't want you getting hurt. If you're in trouble and need somewhere to hide, you're always welcome at our house.
Squeaks is Teddy's right hand man. He is loyal only to Teddy, and is quiet most of the time. His voice is medium to high pitched. Squeaks is very close to Chirp like a brother.
He’s my blood brother! So if you don’t let him go, I’m gonna take someone very close to you away. And if I were you, I wouldn’t be so hard on my brother. I go back a long way with this fella, and if you so much as hurt a bone on his body, I’ll tell everybody you sold the “honey” formula to the Bosozoku Usagi!

These guys are big, and they don't mess around. One false step, and they'll have you in a half nelson faster than you can say... well,, anything!

I've always wanted one of those classic cars. The ones with the tape players and the ashtrays. I always hate throwing smokes out the window when I'm done with them.
Pan-Pan is a Mafia Goon working under Teddy Montana. He's a heavyset panda, and gets annoyed very easily. His sister, Panda, works as a waitress for Jerry's Bar and Grill. His voice is very low and raspy.

Nut Hench is Teddy's left hand man. He's quite stupid and incompetent, but Teddy won't let him out because Nut Hench is most likely to tell everyone about him. His voice should be high pitched and VERY annoying.

These guys may be small, but man do they pack a punch! Voices can range from low to high.
