Project Overview

THIS PROJECT WILL INCLUDE SPOILERS FOR DANGANRONPA: THH!!!

Ever since I started making fandub projects, it has been requested that I do some kind of DanganRonpa project. I myself don't know much about the series, but after getting involved with DR myself, I decided to have a 'trial' at Kyoko Kirigiri's ending from DanganRonpa Trigger Happy Havoc.

I just need a Makoto and Kyoko voice for now. If all goes well, I'll do all the characters.

The characters do have English Voice Actor's, but please feel free to give your own takes too!

I'm happy for girls' to try out for him too seeing as he's voiced by woman in the Japanese version!


The protagonist. Voice type - High/Mid pitched, warm and friendly. 

Makoto is very kind, supportive and forgiving, though sometimes slightly naive. He is friendly, polite and a lot more down-to-earth than the other students. According to himself, Makoto is a very ordinary person, to the point that he feels a bit insecure about it. His most distinguishing feature is his unusual optimism.


  • "Before we go any further, I guess I should introduce myself. My name's Makoto Naegi. As you can see, I'm nothing but a hopelessly average high school student. Average on the outside, average on the inside. I really don't have much going for me when it comes to grades, special abilities, even personality."

  • "I don't really know where to start... We weren't just regular "classmates"... We were trapped inside Hope's Peak Academy during The Tragedy... We were forced...to kill each other. Our classmates. A lot of our classmates ended up killing each other. Right in front of our eyes. Even after all this time, the memory... The despair... I can still feel it."

Voice type - Mid pitched, mature and calm. 


Kyoko is a stoic and mysterious girl who tends to hide her feelings. She has a calm demeanor and tends to be completely unfazed by most of the events that occur, even at the sight of a dead body. Kyoko is also one of very few students that see things objectively and doesn't jump to conclusions in the trial, making her a valuable ally to Makoto.

  • “At first glance, he probably looks that way, but when he needs to he can be stronger than anyone. He always thinks of his friends and never gives up. Even if it means ignoring his own needs. That's what makes me worry about him, but... that's why I believe in him. Yes...Back then, it was only because he was there that I could...”
