Project Overview
AUDITIONS ARE CLOSED, THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO AUDITIONED!
Hello! I run a non-profit Fanganronpa, and I need you to lend me your voice!
I work on the project alone, but the one thing I can't do by myself are the voices.
This series will be held on Youtube, played out as a normal danganronpa game.
My series Danganronpa Locked In Despair has 11 distinct characters, and takes place in an underground warehouse. The normal killing game transpires, but with a twist..There IS a way to escape without bloodshed. All the students must do is find a singular key. Will they escape without murder, or will desperation swallow them whole?

If you audition here, please leave some sort of way for me to contact you, preferably discord or gmail
1. I will be choosing auditions based on performance and mic quality.
2. You are allowed to audition for multiple characters, but most likely will only get one of them.
3. It is highly suggested to read the voice lines provided in your auditions.
4. I will message you if you are accepted, and you will be invited to the DRLID staff server.
5. The deadline is August 30th , there is a very low chance of getting in after that date.

The Ultimate Historian is here! Or should I say, your majesty? Tobias is a quiet and soft spoken person, spending most of their time reading and researching! However, speaking up for themself isn't exactly their strongest suit.. They try their best though!
Tobias is very soft spoken, timid and quiet, most times people forget they are present. Being loud isn’t their strong suit, and they often stutter or trip over their words. However they just want what's best for everyone.
“Oh! You.. want to know more about World War I..? I can help you with that, sure! I can get my books, timelines and presentations- Oh, you just want a brief explanation..? Right, right! Sorry, I got ahead of myself. So I suppose we should start from the beginning, it all started with the assination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, which started a huge four year war across Europe…”

Cherry the Ultimate Rollerskater! Cherry is a delightfully energetic person, her huge heart compensating for her small size. He gives 110% no matter what for himself, or his friends! Even when she's in a spiral of despair, Cherry always seems to have a smile.
Cherry has a very squeaky kid-like voice, a bit raspy in some instances. The best I can describe it as is Timmy Turner. He’s very enthusiastic, especially with how he portrays his words.
“My name.. It’s Cherry, I’m pretty sure!! Nice to meetcha, Tobias! I’m the Ultimate Rollerskater, hehe!! I’m sure if we all work together, we can get out of this creepy place! I mean, we all have such cool talents, this’ll be a breeze! I’ll be exploring if you need me.. Although I might want a partner.. Hey, Deval! Wanna partner up!?”

Chitose, in short, is a control freak, but one of the worst kinds... A time control freak. Her main focus is to make sure EVERYTHING is on time. Not late, not even early, but exactly on time. Chitose likes having her work place clean, and often gives critique when it's not asked of her. She's also one of the bluntest people you'll ever meet.
Chitose’s voice is very dark and mature, and often sarcastic. She’s extremely assertive with her wording, often coming across as rude; even when she isn’t trying to be.
“Ugh. You’re late, again. Enokuma specifically told us to meet at the elevator door entrance at 2:00pm, SHARP. You arrived at 2:04, that is unacceptable! Don’t you have any capability or understanding of time management? Do you even have a clock of any kind on your person? I swear, I’m surrounded by imbeciles.. Shut up. Just get on the elevator.”

Who's that punching their way in? Why it's Claudio Morales! Claudio is not only one of the Olympic Champions, but a public speaker for young girls; encouraging them to empower themselves! Overall one of the most inspiring and thoughtful person you'll meet! She never talks about her life before her fame... I wonder why that is?
Claudio’s voice is a bit raspy, but very assertive and loud at times. She really does want what’s best for everyone, and her captivating voice helps her case with convincing others. A perfect voice for delivering inspiring speeches!
“C’mon! Put your back into it! Hmm.. Here, let me show you! So you never want to position your fist behind your line of vision, because your opponent can and will take advantage of that! ..Hey, look at me. I’m not trying to discourage you, I just want to make sure you get my advice clearly. You’re doing great, no one can just learn every fighting technique overnight, kiddo. You have to practice, and maybe even one day, you could beat me. I’m counting on you! Let’s call it a day, I really need to hit the showers.. See ya’!”

Everyone move aside, take a step to the left; Deval Phoenix has arrived! Deval currently has over 15 million subscribers on twitch, at the age of 16! A total pop sensation, mostly known for her loud personality and hilarious let’s plays. However.. Can’t fame get to your head after a while?
Deval’s voice is rather energetic and has a sassy tone to it. She has a certain way of wording things, mostly in whatever way will make herself look good. Deval has that very distinct fangirly voice.
“Well, I didn’t think that would work in the slightest! But it did! Whoa, Whoa, Whoa! Hey, before we start pointing fingers at who spent who’s mora on magical explosives and new skins for cute characters, in my defense I was really bored. I mean, I don’t really know why you guys wanted me to play this game.. What is it called, Genshin Impact? I was sold by the cute girls on the front page, but this is WAYYY too complicated. Can we just switch to Valorant?!”

Although on the outside she looks rugged and tough, she's just a loud and loveable gentle giant. Dragonfruit grew up in the country with 13 other siblings, giving her that good ol' country hospitality. She has been forging and building things for as long as she can remember. If you need something made, just give a holler for Dragonfruit!
Dragonfruit’s voice is a bit dark and rugged, but she is an absolute sweetheart. Her voice is quite raspy from yelling so much, and she often speaks a lot louder than normal just out of habit or excitement. Oh, and she has a thick country accent.
“GRAHA!! Hey, Hey, HEY! Welcome to my Blacksmith’s paradise! If ya’ need anythin’ let me know! Oh! That right there is a battle axe, an’ its on sale! Made of copper, alloy, an’ iron straight from th’ mines from my village! Here, lemme show ya’ how to hold it! Grahaha! There ya’ are! Ya’ look like ya’s ready for battlin’ alright! So whaddya say? Will ya’ take it? Now tha’s what I’m talkin’ about! Bring it in!”

Dysnomia Itchibangase could be described as a not so nice bunny, with an extra dash of arrogance and spunk. Even at such a young age, she has a huge red target on her back; Dysnomia is wanted for 500k yen, dead or alive. Despite being hated, she takes extreme pride in her work. Their intentions are unknown, but what's for sure is that they will never stop.
Her voice is whiny but addictive to listen to, dragging out words for dramatic affect, she often yells to get her point across. A few habits is that Dysnomia also giggles and laughs a lot, but basically at anything. As well as speaking really really quickly, but hardly ever trips over her words. (She also gets mad when others don't keep up.)
“That’s the thing, is that everyone does know the system is corrupt, but not doing anything about it! Some people never have to work a day in their life, y’know billionaires! Heh! One person doesn’t need THAT much money… Anyways, that brings me to my main point. Wanna go grab some slushies and go fuck shit up? Hehe, I’ll take your silence as a yes.”

Koyuki Ito, last but certainly not least! A quiet, yet bold girl who calls herself the Ultimate Demolitionist. She wrecks and destroys houses for a living! Such a contrast to her gentle mannerisms, isn't it? I'd be careful around her...
Koyuki has a calm yet chilling voice, it’s a bit frightening but still enticing. Her mannerisms when speaking are very collected, as it seems like she always knows what to say and how to say it correctly.
“I know I’m the Ultimate Demolitionist, but I’m training to become an attorney. People often say I have some sort of feathery and hypnotizing effect on others, how wonderful is that? Oh, don’t look so worried. I doubt I could swoon you.. Yet. Anywho, I’m sure the academy wouldn’t mind me changing my career path.. Demolition work is just so dirty.”

Ryoba Watanabe | Ult. Pyschologist

Ryoba is by far the one I have the least information on, always willing to listen to others and their problems, but shuts everyone out the minute you ask about herself. Although quite fond of her talent, how can she care for her classmates when she can't even care for herself? What is she hiding, why is she so afraid?
Ryoba has a very coarse, raspy, and exhausted voice. She basically sounds like an old lady who’s been smoking cigarettes for over half of her life. Ryoba likes to take the leader of any group anyways.
“Sorting medicine isn’t my favorite thing to do, but I can’t let my clients and patients go without their medicine. Hey, would you mind getting that pill bottle on the ground? I can’t exactly reach it.. Thank you. Say, why did you decide to become my apprentice? Most people can’t bear to be around me, well mostly classmates younger than me…Not much of a talker, hm? Maybe one day you’ll tell me all about it.”

Xanthe Yabusame | Ult. Corpse

Xanthe Yabusame, previously known as Sachiko Yabusame, is the Ultimate Corpse! They were pummeled to death by a subway train, then brought back to life.. No one quite knows how, but who cares?! Xanthe could be best described as a rabid and crazed monster, with an unfamiliar yet welcoming charm. I just hope they don't chew on any sofas..
Xanthe’s voice is all over the place, but I could describe it as psychotic, raspy, and messy. They often put a lot of gut wrenching growls on each word. Xanthe often gets excited and has no idea how to control it, resulting in screaming in that horrible voice of theirs.
“HAHAHA!! HELLO!!! Who are you?! Are you my new cell mate?! I thought I wouldn’t get one until next month!! I might’ve killed and eaten my last cell mate out of excitement, but I just know it won’t happen this time!! IF I START DROOLING JUST PULL MY HAIR, OK!??! OK!! I know we’re going to be tighter than my chain restraints soon!!”

Ah, Yukko. The extremely hyper-alt clothing and costume designer with an immense following! Yukko loves what she does, as well as her fans! They are always willing to give a helping hand to those in need. Although, recently, a few of her fans left... I wonder why?
Yukko has one of those fake innocent high pitched voices, like you just know something is hidden, but have nothing to prove it. She is very sweet and carefree with her wording and voice tone.
“Hiya!! It’s so exciting to meet a big fan of mine~! What can I do for you, would you like me to sign something for you? Oh, a T-Shirt! Hey.. That’s my T-shirt!... Wow, no detail is spared in this replica of my iconic shirt.. Good job! So, who am I signing this to.. Haru? Is that your name? Well Haru, I believe this world better watch out for you, you might even become as successful as me one day!”
