[CLOSED] Danganronpa Hushed Whisper (Web-Series)

Project Overview

Danganronpa Hushed Whispers is a fan made video series project being created by Joshua Waters and Minh Ton. This series will follow the same format as the original trilogy of games, but with its own plot, characters, and setting.


BASIC STORY

This story involves a group of 16 young kids who each have a special talent called an “Ultimate”.  Each of these students have been invited out to a prestigious camp in which they can hone their ultimate talents.  This turns out to be a ploy for something much more sinister and these 16 students are forced to participate in a “Killing Game” in which they must kill another student to escape the camp and get away with the murder after a trial is held.  The rest of the story follows these characters fighting for their lives whilst trying to find who exactly trapped them in this hell.

PAYMENT

Each character will have a set of small voice lines that they will do for the investigations and daily life sections of the series, as they are only partially voiced. Each actor will be payed $5USD for these scripts when they are needed.  

Class trials will be fully voiced however, and will have much more voice work in them.  Each character will be getting an additional $10USD per each trial they voice in.

NOTE: This is still a fan passion project and we are paying our staff out of pocket.

    First and foremost, thank you everyone who auditioned. It was such a delight to listen to everyone's takes on the characters of this fangan. The love and support has meant the world to the team. At this time, the casting process has been completed and the messages have been sent. A little about the casting process: There were four individuals who decided collectively on the cast, picking from a short list of voice actors. No member of this panel had auditioned for any character. As mentioned at the beginning, there were no double casts.The voice actors chosen have been sent messages and we have gotten confirmation from them. Thank you all again for your support, and we hope you continue to enjoy the development of Hushed Whispers!

Voice: Suave and alluring voice but has that high school bully vibe to it.  Med-Low but very smooth.  When his pride is put into question or he is upstaged his voice tends to go a bit higher, nothing insane, but noticeable.

Voice: Confident when talking about his knowledge on ghosts, in situations that may present any kind of fear sutters on nearly every word and cracks a lot.  High and nasally voice.

Voice: Light Country twang in his voice. His voice is med to med-low but it is smooth like butter.  Has a tendency to use “Sandy Cheeks-isms” where he describes something in a very long and convoluted simile that is relating to country things.
