Danganronpa: Desperate Heart
Project Overview
Hi! I’m making a Danganronpa fan series called Desperate Heart and am looking for some voices for the characters! This series will be edited and put together by me, as well as all the art is done by me. All the characters are already designed and have personalities now they just need some voices. The series will be broadcast via YouTube and whichever social platform you prefer will be credited in the description of every upload. If you are selected you will need to join a discord server so I can send scripts when they are ready. Thank you!

Acapacio is the antagonist of the series! He has an Italian background but an accent is not necessary. Acapacio is the Ultimate Journalist but he tends to be very snarky and full of himself, wants the attention to be on him. He’s constantly making remarks about other people and comparing them to himself. If you can bring an arrogant and antagonistic voice then consider applying for Acapacio!
"The name’s Acapacio Russi, Ultimate Journalist." (Smug) "Not that you’ll need to know, I don’t plan on talking to a scruff like you."
"What’re you gonna do?" (With a hint of a laugh) "Shine your little light stick in my face?"
(Angrily) "You want me to write notes? To hell am I writing notes! Write your own goddamn notes."
Lilia Koizumi is the Ultimate Wartime Photographer, this means she's matured quickly. Lilia acts as the mothering character for the group, ensuring happiness but most of all, safety... But is she all that she seems? Taking this into account, if you can act as this loving and caregiving character, consider applying for Lilia!
(Friendly) "Hello there, I'm Lilia Koizumi, I'm the Ultimate Wartime Photographer, but please just call me Lilia."
(Slightly upset) "I'm sorry if I'm not much of a help.. This is all so.. new to me.."
(Shocked but with a hint of aggression) "Sorry to dismiss your idea so quickly but it's simply not true."
These two are the Ultimate Twins! Whoever would like to voice them will need to be able to take on quite the challenge. Due to them being twins, they both have almost the exact same voice. Erena (the pink one) will have a more high pitched tone while Gaia (the red one) will have a slight bit of raspiness. Both of them have unique personalities, Erena being more friendly (or so she seems) and Gaia being more aggressive yet shy. So, if you think you're up for the task of the twins, consider applying for Gaia and Erena!
(For Erena, the pink one) (excitable yet shy) "Hi! I'm Erena Amami, the Ultimate Twin. We can be friends if you want..."
(For Gaia, the red one) (annoyed but shy) "Yeah hi, I'm Gaia Amami, the other Ultimate Twin, and undoubtedly the one you'll forget about."
(For Erena) (trying to anger Gaia) "Aren't you gonna say something? You better say something! Or are you too depressed?"
Dio Mazimo, the Ultimate Snowman! You're probably wondering what the Ultimate Snowman does, well he's a mountain rescue officer, specifically working in the snowy mountains. Dio is very loud, flaunty, and sometimes annoying but he takes everything seriously when it comes to people in danger. He also idolizes a fellow student, trying to constantly impress him by trying to be cool, even though his idol looks up to him. So if you have the energy and volume needed, consider applying for Dio!
(Loud but gets to a normal volume) "HEY THERE! I'm Dio Mazimo, the Ultimate Snowman, which means I save people's lives by the way."
(At a loud whisper) "Hey Towa, ya think I look cool? I think I look cool just need a woman's input.."
(Announcing) "So everybody knows, I'm known as the local hero where I'm from and I don't mind you calling me that too!"
Towa Sumiko is not only the Ultimate Unlucky Bitizen, but also the protagonist! If you're wondering what unlucky bitizen means, basically she's very unlucky when it comes to the internet and technology... Although being a protagonist, she's not very smart and usually relies on others to assist her. She also has a mischievous side, often flirtatious and jokingly mean to the other students. The voice for Towa needs to be able to bring both a fun and (sometimes) serious tone, and capable of handling the most lines in the entire series. So, if you can do this, consider applying for Towa!
"My name is Towa Sumiko, I don't really have an ultimate talent, more like an ultimate curse.."
(overly excited) "You and I are gonna be a great team, the perfect duo, an iconic pair. Basically, we're already besties!"
(embarassed) "I knew that! Just making sure everyone else was paying attention."
Zoei Meito is the Ultimate Extreme Sportswoman, although she may not look it... Most would look at her and point out how adorable she is with her height and massive bow but this is the one thing Zoei hates the most. She absolutely despises being called cute and wants to be seen as cool and risk-seeking. Sports is her passion, especially dangerous ones like climbing and offshore kayaking, but you really wouldn't think it. She also hangs out with the two most loud guys and tries to be included. Her voice will need to be quite high-pitched but able to get angry quickly, a common occurrence for her. So, if you'd like to play a sweet but angry character, consider applying for Zoei!
"Heya! I'm Zoei Meito, the coolest girl you'll ever meet! My special talent is extreme sports!"
(angry and upset) "Cute?! Do you know who you're talking to?? I'm not cute!!"
(pumped up) "I dunno about you guys but I'm ready to sweat! Just try to keep up!"
Monocam is the significant evil mascot of the series! His head is a motion sensor and his arms are security cameras and his voice is... whatever you want! I don't have much in mind right now so this character will give you some freedom to do whatever you want! If you're not aware, Monocam is the main antagonist of the series, a robot under the command of the Mastermind and has a lot of lines, making announcements etc. So, if you have a voice, consider applying for Monocam!
"Hello everybody, I'm your friendly and approachable leader Monocam."
(Voice goes higher when angry) "You are not permitted to touch me in such an inappropriate manner!!!"
"Welcome to the class trial room! The room where we have class trials, which is why I named it that."
Aries Huara is the Ultimate Vulcanologist, (AKA someone who studies volcanoes) but not only does he study volcanoes, he also hikes up them. He loves to show off but is humble when he needs to be, especially towards Dio, who he looks up to. When speaking he often forgets what he's going to say and ends up embarrassing himself in front of people. He's also quite flirty but isn't very good at it. Voice-wise, he needs to be constantly upbeat and energized yet quickly changes to being flustered, so if you've got what it takes then consider applying for Aries!
"I'm Aries Huara! Ultimate Vulcanologist, but Lava Man is fine. It sounds cooler like Dio's does."
(Taking charge) "It appears this is a job for me! Aries Huara! Step aside ladies and let me handle things."
(Expressive but immediately gets embarrassed) "Why would you do that?? That's like the... uh.. the.. damn it."
Asachi Komera is the Ultimate Field Medic, he spent a good chunk of his life on the battlefield aiding soldiers in need, Due to his trauma he's quite shy and untalkative but will happily tell stories from his past. Being a field medic, he automatically takes on the role of the doctor in the group and offers to tend to everyone if they need it. Towa, the protagonist, constantly refers to Asachi as the 'hot medic' and he'd just ignore her completely. So if you're up for a more reserved yet helpful character, consider applying for Asachi!
"My name is Asachi Komera, the Ultimate Field Medic. Glad to be your acquaintance."
(In the most bored way possible) "Oh It's you again, what have you done to him this time?"
(Surprised) "You want to know about me? I'm sure Lilia's stories are more interesting but I guess I've got a few that are worth telling."
Dasonoku Yasuhiro is the Ultimate Blackjack Pro, he's good with cards and outwitting everyone else, but only when it comes to logic. He's more kept to himself and likes everything (and everyone) to be kept in order. Even though he's only a young adult, he's got a wife. This is because his family comes from a background where they marry early, and he isn't bothered by the whole situation. Most of the group look up to him as this wise example, and he does enjoy the attention. If you'd be a good fit for this looked up to character, consider applying for Dasonoku!
"Yes, my name is Dasonoku Yasuhiro, the Ultimate Blackjack Pro. Some also know me as the Ultimate Rival."
(Concerned) "You really okay being treated like this? Trust me, I come from experience."
(Somewhat angered yet calm) "It's logic, there's no possible way such a massive task could've been carried out in such a small amount of time!"
Felicity's surname is unknown to the public, due to her being the Ultimate Spy. She keeps most of her information private and only showcases what she wants people to see. She's also very knowledgeable and drives the class trials with her ability to put clues together to form answers. Towards the others she's sociable, but not enough to drop her spy facade, even though she isn't on an operation. She is always on guard and carries her sledgehammer wherever she goes, you know, just in case. If you've got the capabilities for a mysterious character and quite a big part, consider applying for Felicity!
"I'm Felicity. Ultimate Spy. That answers your question doesn't it?"
(stern) "I'm not going to tell you anything about my past no matter how hard you try, plus I've got a dangerous weapon with your name on it if you continue to pester me."
(More excited) "Have you ever considered the thought that it wasn't done by one of those six?"
Fizzy isn't her real name, that's the name of her puppet. In fact, being the Ultimate Puppeteer, she only speaks through the puppet. This role will take some skill as you'll be voicing the puppet and not the person, therefore the lines will need to be read as if your using a puppet. So a more high-pitched muffled voice is likely to be the case. There's some freedom with this one as the puppet can sound like whatever you'd like (keep in mind the person will most likely speak normally at some point). She's very loud, obnoxious, annoying, and quickly gets under people's skin even if it's not on purpose. The voice will need to be excitable and loud but keeping the puppet-like tone. If you're up for this challenge, consider applying for Fizzy!
(almost too excited) "Hellooo! I'm Fizzy! The Ultimate Puppet! Ignore my puppeteer she's not the important one here!!"
(aggressive) "Did I say you could look at her? Short answer no, so stop!! Look at meeee!"
(as annoying as possible) "Hey you two what're you up to?? Tell me tell me tell me tell me tell me!"
Nia Harper, the Ultimate Lifeguard, does not deserve her title. Not only does she easily get bored, but she doesn't care about anyone or anything. While she does mock and poke fun at the others, she also doesn't do it in a malicious manner, rather a playful one. Striking a conversation is difficult due to her lack of a drive to participate and she's always either watching and silently ridiculing everyone or being asked to put some more clothes on (which she'll always refuse). Her voice needs to be somewhat slow and a mumble, as if you don't really care about what you're saying, nor do you have the energy to say it. So, if you can pull this off, consider applying for Nia!
(bored) "I'm Nia Harper, I'm the Ultimate Lifeguard but don't expect me to care about you or your life in any way."
(without a care) "I'll be in my room doing nothing, call me if you need me, not that I plan on responding."
(concerned) "Do you expect me to believe the detective skills of someone who spends their life savings on plastic?" (sarcastic) "Nevermind I do that."
Gallor Hannion, the Ultimate Ghost Hunter, is quite a quirky fella. He's devoted his life to his ghost-capturing technology and has frequented every abandoned building in the vicinity of his home. His family is Australian and he's lived there most of his life, therefore adapting to their accent (If necessary I can remove this part). He's quite an oddball around the others, his hairstyle and clothes don't help his case, and he doesn't care what others think, often going off on tangents and coming up with ways to detect paranormal activity. His voice (while being Aussie) has to sound like he's a little bit crazy and he's just going off the first thing that comes into his mind. So, if you can pull off the down under accent (or if you are Australian), consider applying for Gallor!
(eager) "G'day! I'm Gallor Hannion, Ultimate Ghost Hunter and paranormal investigator!"
(excited) "Lucky for you lot I've got a number of contraptions that'll put this ol' cracker in his place!"
(slight nervousness) "Alright turn the torch back on, I can't do everything on my own!"
Palano Cinth is the Ultimate Oneirologist, this basically means he studies dreams! However, he hardly ever sleeps for more than 4 hours at a time and keeps himself awake with lots of caffeine and energy drinks. He's very kindhearted and cares for others however is quick to assume someone's emotions from a glance at their face. Not only this but he also believes he can read people's minds and will not stop trying until he gets it right at least once. Being the largest of the group, some of them ask him for workout tips in which he panics and finds any excuse to get out of the conversation asap. His voice is very slow, a little deep with signs of tiredness and quite a bit of mid-sentence yawning. Som if you enjoy yawning and reading people's minds, consider applying for Palano.
(very much awake but with the odd yawn) "Heya I'm Palano Cinth, the Ultimate Oneirologist but for your ease, call me the Dream King. Or don't, entirely up to you."
(concentrating) "Look me dead in the eyes, I'll channel your mind energy through to my own. Ah yes, very good."
(wide awake) "Don't worry! I'll just read everyone's mind and find out who the killer is that way!"
