AUDITION INFORMATION:
You must be 16+ to audition. If you are younger than this your auditions will be automatically dismissed.
Please include your Discord as this is going to be the main form of communication throughout the series.

Be respectful towards other auditioners and the staff.
This series will be a long project that will take time, so audition with that in mind. If you are not keen on being on the team for a long time, we do not suggest you audition.
There is no limit on the amount of characters you can audition for.
All casting will take place within the week after the deadline has passed.
PROJECT INFORMATION:
Danganronpa: Azure Zero is a non-profit Danganronpa inspired Youtube formatted Visual Novel. We are not affiliated with the original series. There will be CGs along with separate expression sprites.
Deep under the surface of the ocean lies a large submarine themed as a Casino. There are slot machines and poker tables and all of the drinks you can think of, but there is something deeper rooted in this vessel. 12 "contestants" with unique talents are kidnapped and forced to participate in a killing game. There is one way to escape: Kill someone and get away with it. With their lives on the line, the contestants fight to survive through this brutal cycle of killing. 3 "VIPs" work together to vote for a contestant they believe is most likely to win the killing game, to which this lucky patron wins an advantage through a Gachapon.
Danganronpa: Azure Zero handles potentially triggering topics, similar to that of the original Danganronpa series. Viewer discretion is advised.

Serenity Karma is soft spoken with a good sense of humor. She tends to take things as lighthearted as they can be, ignoring the issues behind them. She excels in Language Arts and writing, many of her original works becoming Famous. To this, she denies any sort of connection with popular literature. She wants to keep to herself and stay low.
Serenity's voice should be soft and light with a medium-high range. She is very intelligent with her words and thinks before she speaks.
A black Voice Actor would be preferred for this role!

"I’m Serenity Karma! It’s nice to meet you, although I'm not quite sure… Why we are meeting in the first place..." [Cheerful mixed with confusion]
"Oh god this is just like a horror story! We are the perfect victims right now!" [Fearful]
"I’ve never been in a casino before, didn’t know they were so… Loud. And bright… and...Everything." [Slow; Curious]
Francis Atsuko is childish and always a little bit curious.
She wears her heart on her sleeve and, no matter what anyone says, will keep it that way. She is overly friendly with others to the point where she can be
unintentionally pushy. Despite this, she loves meeting new people! Is a "ghost hunter" even a real job? We... We don't know.
Francis' voice should be on the rougher side in a medium-high pitch. She is louder and more confident with herself.

"Heh, don't worry! I ran through thousands of different scenarios like this in my head! I'm totally prepared for this!" [Confident]
"Scared? Nah, I'm nowhere near scared. This place is for babies!" [Proud]
"But if we are... The more the merrier, right? It's better if we get them to look around with us." [Logical]
Kamihiro Niomura is obnoxious and very full of himself. He puts himself on the highest pedestal and would not get down, no matter how hard you try. Conversing with him would be a nightmore, as he will spend on hours on hours talking about himself. On the other hand, if he starts talking about you, brace yourself for never ending criticism. He will have a perfect image of you in his mind, and will do anything in his power to sculpt you into that image.
Niomura's voice should be careful and elegant as he is very performative with his speech.

"Me? Oh, surely you must be joking! I am Kamihiro Niomura! You must not forget it! Once you learn of my amazing feats and awesome glory, my name will be plastered in your minds forever! Backtrack- your brains cannot begin to even comprehend my greatness- " [Rambling]
"Goodness.. You mean to tell me that you also have no clue what’s going on? Ugh, you're absolutely useless!" [Annoyed]
"All I’m saying is that they should’ve made me director in the first place. Ugh." [Offended]
Usa Natsumi is Mysterious and especially mischievous.
Nothing can be easily said about her. Some days she would play around, always pulling tricks and tiny little schemes. Other days, she'd be the kindest person you'd ever meet. But for those faithful days, she could become the biggest spawn of Satan you have ever seen. It's all in the mark of a magician: Be the smartest in the room.
Natsumi's voice should be smooth in a medium-low range. She often sweet talks and teases, loves to see other's reactions.

"Aw, go easy on her. She may not show it well, but I'm sure she's excited to know who you are!" [Teasing]
Kanai Myung is sassy yet sweet. He has this sort of charm that makes people like him, hence why he is a Reality TV Star. He's confident and dramatic, but when necessary he can be mature. He tends to hide his feelings under his overwhelming confidence, refusing to let people think he could be anything less than perfect. Uses his wit to keep people at arm's length. Even when the cameras aren't on him, he puts on a show!
Kanai's voice should be confident and proud. He finds comfort in talking. He is in the medium pitch range.

"Uuhh- Duh! You haven’t heard of me? Do you live under a rock or something?" [Confident]
"Okay- I’m gonna keep it a buck 50 with you guys… I’m a little creeped out. This place looks like some sort of kitchen. Or like- I dunno… Some twisted mix of a kitchen and a butcher’s shop." [Worried]
"Well, your company hasn't been very pleasant either! Infact, I disliked it." [Sassy]
Hideko Gotoh is socially anxious and shy, always leading to her stumble over her words or completely freeze up. Because of her anxiety and "glass half full" mentality, she chooses to hide where it's safe, which is the inside of her room, spent playing her bass and writing songs for the imaginary band in her head. She does wish to overcome these fears, however. She just needs a little boost is all.
Hideko's voice should be soft and higher pitched as she is on the shy side. She isn't very sure of herself.

"M-My Name is Hideko! H-Hideko Gotoh!" [Louder than usual]

Sakamoto Tokikaze is kindhearted with a soft soul, always willing to keep it slow and peaceful. He often goes around, keeping a smile on his face, but don't let that soft exterior fool you, once you get to know him, he'll show his more... "Friendlier" side. He's fond of teasing others. But it's all in good Faith... In his eyes.... Just don't let him rip into your ego. Chances are you won't have one by the time he's done.
Tokikaze's voice should be soft and kind with a medium range. While he might say things that could be considered rude, he says it in such a way where it feels sweet.

"Shit- Hi there! We're doing… Uh… Well, we're doing okay, saying our situation… I guess… How are you?" [Awkward]
"[Muttering] Wow, you're one life of the party... My name is Tokikaze."
Reina Chiyo is serious and straightforward. She likes to take a leader/protective role in most situations and believes that she has a strong aura, her burden of leadership weighs down on her as she believes she has to take this role. Despite this persona she puts on, she can also be lighthearted and fun with people she strongly trusts. She can be easily irritable, unfortunately for this group.
Reina's voice should be strong and confident, reaching a medium-low pitch. She chooses her words carefully and is assured in herself.

"You could’ve easily seen me if you weren’t talking to yourself. I shouldn’t have had to announce my presence." [Irritated]
"Okay great, I’m glad we had this interaction. Very necessary. Can you please tell me who you are now??" [Sarcasm turned to impatience]
"Stop arguing. Yelling and screaming won't get us anywhere. We just need a bit to decompress." [Stern]
Shion Junichi is snarky and witty, often cracking depreciating jokes to anyone he comes across. Sort of like a cynical best friend who will be there for you while making fun of you while you cry. He is teasing to the people he likes, but can be aggressive and rude to those he isn't overly fond of. Overall a cocky playboy with a rude sense of humor. Hard to get along with this guy.
Shion's voice should be on the deeper and lower side, he is playful and flirty and often teases people to see their reactions

Noa Ryouko is headed and exhausted 80% of the time.
She speaks her mind to a T, never sparing anyone's Feelings. Usually seen sporting a cup of coffee due to their busy schedule and dedicated personality. Despite not being the smartest street wise, she is easily irritable to those who aren't as smart as her book wise. Can be stubborn and doesn't let up easily, sometimes leading them to hurting others.
Noa's voice should be deadpan and medium pitched. She rarely shows emotion through her voice unless it's expressing frustration.

Till Reese is Loud, obnoxious, and overly confident. An incredibly high maintenance and whiney type of guy. His overconfidence might be a mask to hide his crippling need to be constantly assured that he is the coolest and Funniest in the room. Who knows! No inside voice, a chaotic mix of overconfidence and ego. The time where he's the most relaxed is when he's high.
Till's voice is on the medium-high range, being whiney and overbearing. Voice cracks optional

"Well aren't you a character? [Mocking] Hmph. Anyways- What the hell is going on?"
"Oh don’t be an asshole! You’re just as talkative! Hell, probably even more talkative than me!" [Offended]
The dealer is the eccentric and over the top host of the killing game. They are loud, obnoxious, and especially violent. They tend to tease and trick others, showing their sadistic side through comedy and poking fun. Not much is known about them behind the scenes; unfortunately they aren't very open about their personal life.
The dealer's voice is completely open to interpretation! Feel free to do whatever you feel fits!

"Aww… But where's the fun in that?~ The anticipation, the suspense! I want you all to be on the edge of your seat before the big reveal!" [Teasing]
"Now why would I lie about something like this…? I may be a horrible, fucked up excuse of a person but I am no liar!"
We are unfortunately not great at putting audios together and making them sound smooth, so that's where this role comes in! We need someone who can mix audios for us. :)
