Project Overview

Crypdid hunting is a 9-minute (Estimated) found-footage analog horror short film that takes the form of old cryptid-hunting videos, where the main focus is the attempt to capture Slenderman on film (refered to as Business Man).


The story centers around Alice, a trophy cryptid hunter who decides to hunt “Business Man” for her own gain. So, she goes into the woods and stumbles upon an open space that she uses to trap him, but quickly grows tired of waiting for him to come when someone who she thinks is “Businessman” gets into the line of sight and hijinks ensue.

A cryptid trophy hunter from the Pacific Northwest area who either spends her days documenting ones she comes across or trophy hunting them. Although she doesn’t necessarily have any trophies to show due to them “getting away”.

She is a very cold person, who will typically use every opportunity to gain any type of fame or notoriety in the wider cryptid community, going as far as to make sure that every moment is “caught on film”.

This has led her into full psychosis and fully into the belief that she isn't a pseudo-intellectual (she is one, she just doesn't want to deny it), as well as manifesting a fake PHD to justify any work she does regularly.
