Corporate Read For Accountancy Video
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Hi voice acting community! This is a paid casting call for a corporate video based in the accounting industry.
They are an accountancy firm based in Bolton (Northwest of England, UK). They are professional, the number one accountancy firm listed on Trustpilot. Their brand style is vibrant, bold and with lots of energy. Therefore the voice over read should match these characteristics.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline for this submission is 5th February 2021 (05/02/21) The video is completed, the client has just changed their mind on the previous VO last second so want more options. The total runtime of the video is 1:40.
WHAT TO EXPECT
I will be taking a selection of the best reads to my client so they can have a say on who gets the role. Once they've decided I will be back to notify you and then we will need the full read by 10th February 2021 (10/02/21).
The aim is to have the video edited and signed off by the week starting on the 15th. When the client is happy we all get paid.
WHAT I NEED FROM YOU
- Your voice,
- Please submit recordings on prosumer mics (sound quality has to be on point. No ambient sound)
- If you feel like you need additional direction on lines, please ask. Multiple takes on lines would be appreciated so I have options.
- Please send your audio in one .wav file to my email which I'll provide after confirmation of the role. WeTransfer's usually the best option to get that across.
WHO AM I?
I am a freelance filmmaker/ video producer who has previous worked for AAA animation studio Cubic Motion, where I worked on games such as Xcom 2, Wolfenstein 2 and Star Citizen.
I now run my production company Strand Studios with director/ VO Artist Jonny Knowles (Skyrim, Lorelai, Popup Dungeon.)
Although our passion is in film and gaming we still have to do projects to pay the bills and this is one of them. I feel very fortunate to now be in a position when I can bring paid work to creatives.

The company is based in the Northwest of England, they have clients across the UK so the accent doesn't necessarily have to be regional. Their branding is vibrant, bold and has lots of energy. They're professional but in previous videos have shown more personality than your average corporate video.
