(Cody Mctuffin Recast) Captain Mctuffin and Friends
Project Overview
Captain Mctuffin and Friends is an original 13+ animated comedy webseries created by JacobAnimates_YT, set in a colorful and whimsical world of anthropomorphic animals.
At the center of the series is Frank Mctuffin (Captain Mctuffin), a quirky and proud penguin dad with big energy and an even bigger heart. He shares his chaotic household with his no-nonsense wife Kitty Sr., their science-loving and often-overthinking son Cody Mctuffin, and their adventurous daughter Kitty Jr., whose big ideas have a tendency to turn into even bigger problems.
The series combines family sitcom humor with magical mayhem, comedy, character-driven moments, and occasional emotional stories. It takes inspiration from shows such as The Loud House, Amphibia, The Amazing World of Gumball, and the LeapFrog Pet Pad Party game.
CMAF features a growing cast of colorful characters, strange situations, awkward family moments, magical chaos, glitter explosions, and stories about growing up, being yourself, friendship, and sticking together through life's unpredictable moments.

This project is specifically for recasting Cody Mctuffin, one of the main characters of Captain Mctuffin and Friends.

Voice Actor
Cody Mctuffin is the eldest Mctuffin sibling, currently 18 and approaching adulthood. He's funny, thoughtful, intelligent, and just a little awkward.
Cody is fascinated by science and tends to overthink situations, often trying to calculate the logic behind whatever ridiculous situation his family has gotten themselves into. He's also known for cracking jokes during stressful moments, making him one of the family's main sources of comic relief.
Despite frequently becoming the butt of the joke and the family's resident scapegoat, Cody is a lovable goofball with a genuinely kind heart. He's loyal to his family and especially supportive of his younger sister Kitty Jr., regularly getting dragged into her big and sometimes chaotic ideas, even when it leaves him covered in glitter.
Cody is also in a relationship with Layla Panda, his girlfriend. Around Layla, his tendency to overthink and get awkward can become even more noticeable, especially when he's trying to impress her.
Voice Direction
I'm looking for a male teen / young adult American voice with a chill, funny, slightly sarcastic quality.
Cody is close to adulthood, but he still has a playful streak and shouldn't sound fully mature or overly serious. His voice should be capable of handling both comedic reactions and more sincere/emotional moments.
- American accent
- Chill and conversational
- Funny and slightly sarcastic
- Nerdy/intelligent without sounding overly stereotypical
- Playful but capable of more serious moments
- Good comedic timing
- Able to portray awkwardness naturally
Voice Reference
A general voice reference for Cody is Dipper Pines from Gravity Falls, particularly the combination of an intelligent, somewhat awkward teenage voice with a natural comedic delivery.

(nervous but excited) “Okay, hear me out… what if we built a volcano, but it explodes with glitter instead of lava?”
(awkward but sweet) “Layla? I-I know I’m not exactly smooth, but… I built this whole contraption just to say you’re awesome."
(deadpan but sarcastic) "Right, because nothing says ‘romance’ like a glitter cannon malfunctioning next to your date’s parents."
