Project Overview

Cesnock is an audio play that follows a small band of mismatched misfits as they attempt to discover Cesnock's mysterious purpose and expose the Firstborns' devious plans.

This is a passion project, and it will start unpaid. If it catches on and creates income, we will discuss payment with the cast members.

Character art is for inspirational purposes only, as this is an audio production.

Cast members will be required to join our Discord page for communication purposes. But anyone is welcome.

    There are 10 more days until this casting call closes.

    Because "Cesnock" is a large project and is growing larger by the day. I have decided to accept everyone who has shown interest in this project.

    Some roles have been assigned, and a few more will be assigned by the end of the week.

    If you are following this project or have already auditioned for a role I will be placing you in another position based on your submission.

    Current available roles in this project are "chosen one" or " C.O. Reports," which are about 3 paragraphs of dialog. This short mini-project is directly linked to the larger one. And anyone can do C.O. reports.

Not much is known about the Old Narrator other than that they were very young when the Claw overthrew Queen Ferra and her Monarchy.


The character acts as a focal point in the story, sharing thoughts, setting order to things, and helping explain information that is difficult to portray in an audio play.


They're the main narrator throughout the series, and this role is significant as this character will appear in every episode. We're looking for a seriously dedicated voice actor for this role.


This character role is open to everyone so that we may find the right voice.


We're looking for a seasoned, mature, low-toned voice rather than a raspy one. You are welcome to add an accent, natural or created.


This audition line is the story's prologue and a fitting challenge to any voice actor who wants to try it.

  • My earliest memories are happy. Joyful celebrations filled the hearts of all who survived Queen Ferra's dark reign and her loyal hunters who slaughtered without reason or mercy. I remember the crowd cheering five young heroes as they paraded past my mother, who held me high in the air, the masses chanting the same words over and over again: "We are the Claw." It was glorious enough to carve in stone, which we did, placing it in a place of honor and marveling as it glistened with rays of justice every sunrise. We gave them unlimited power to restore and unite our broken world, and their rule was just. They bore heirs, raising them with old values, and for years we prospered. Then, my memories started to dim. One by one, our celebrated heroes lost their battles to time, the celebrations withered, and the glimmer from the Stone Claw vanished, covered by neglect and decay. The claw's most beloved heir unexpectedly died, leaving a successor too young to rule. Another vanished with rumors of foul play. As a result, the remaining successors lashed out in petty squabbles as their once unbreakable bond disintegrated, hiding themselves away with secret projects and promises of glory days returned. I'm older now, and my memories are not as bright as they once were. Many of my friends and family are gone, victims of the great wars between dissatisfied factions. We were fools to think that five heroes of the past could hold our fragile world together with the flimsy threads of hopeful promises. But there may still be hope for us, a chance to alter the course of our destruction. However, we may be looking in the wrong place. Perhaps the heroes we seek cannot be found in this place we call home. We may need to look elsewhere. Until then, we hold on to what little hope we have left as the tattered chants of old change to a more fitting phrase, one spoken with commonality and acceptance: "Welcome to Cesnock."

Drift is an oversized rat with an oversized ego. His internal quest is to become the most renowned hero cesnock has ever had. His solution is to throw himself into the most dangerous situations possible, hopefully, witnessed by somebody, to secure his place in history.


He's also quite vain about his appearance and seeks recognition from any females, regardless of their species. He's playful, proud, and occasionally bumbling but always strives to do the right thing.

 

We're looking for a serious and dedicated voice actor for Drift. In this story, he's a central character who appears in every episode.

If anyone remembers the television character "Dr. Zachary Smith" created by Jonathan Harris in the original series "Lost in Space," you know my inspiration for this character.


Rogue is conniving and selfish and prioritizes their own survival over everyone elses. However, they're not a traditional villain. Rogue also likes to take control of various situations to ensure the best success, especially if it yields some benefits.


This character is excessively eccentric and extremely intelligent.


Rogue acts as a narrator and main character.


The character plays a significant role in the story and needs a dedicated and seasoned actor.


Anyone may audition for this role, so we may find the most fitting voice.

(Chosen One Program), dedicating three tours (27 years), forwarding the plans of Cesnock leadership.


He now heads the Echo program (Expert Conversation Hotspot Operatives), delegating his limited workforce to where they are required and trying to keep the organization going.


He can be brash sometimes, especially toward characters he expects to be professional.

She's even-handed with most characters, even ones she dislikes. Preferring to solve problems constructively instead of inflating them with petty jabs and snide comments.


Whisper plays a strong supporting role in the story. Acting as a narrator and actor.

So, you're probably wondering what in "spirits chaos" is going on, and if I were in your position, I'd want to know, too. Ajax has an affinity for new budding heroes and considers himself a great asset to anyone wise enough to seek his guidance. He's well-versed in the history of the Claw Revolution against the monarchy and has a strange fascination with the "Dreamer Realm's" unique game, Chess. He considers it a military strategy exercise to sharpen warriors' wits and nerves in battle, even though Queen Ferra used it to dispose of spies and captured enemies grotesquely. 


Ajax has the rank of military general but serves under one of the Firstborns, who holds the leadership of the C.C.D.C (Cesnock Citizens Defense Clan)
