What is this, really? The CAW Champions League is a wrestling show based in a wrestling video game (in this case, it's WWE 2K19. It would be WWE 2K20, but... it's kinda awful). Pretty much your Monday Night RAW or Friday Night Smackdown or AEW Dynamite or whatever your favorite wrestling show is. We put out shows almost every week. The show is currently in its tenth season, but this will be the first that uses voice actors for many of its roles instead of text promos.
What I do: Eddie Mac, yours truly, will do most of the heavy lifting for the show (creating the matches for the show, editing the matches, editing the audio, etc).
What you'll do: You, prospective voice actor or actress, will be providing the voices for some of the featured characters on the show. The reading time will rarely be more than five minutes per shot, and most will be around the three-minute range or less. Having a Discord account is most certainly required for this, as all of our recordings use Discord. Having other social media accounts isn't necessary, but it helps.
So... it doesn't pay? Unfortunately, it does not. I've mainly done it for fun for a decade as a hobby. It was through a friend I was introduced to this site and got the idea to add voice actors for some of the featured characters on the show.
So how should you audition? Best take for each line definitely. You can do more than one, of course. But keep the audition to under 90 seconds if possible.
Will there be more roles added? This is an ongoing project, one that will last certainly through the end of the year at least. So... yeah. There will be more roles added as needed. So if you see a role that isn't quite your voice range or emotion, keep watching. There will likely be one in the not-too-distant future. Promise.
So where will I find all this? Youtube, actually. Got a whole channel and everything, and here it is. You'll not only be credited for anything you do, but if you get a role, you'll get to see anything you do before anyone else. Plus you get to join the project Discord if you want.

Sly Cooper is the latest in the long line of thieves in his family. Thanks to what he's learned and acquired through the "Thievius Raccoonus", a book of techniques passed down from one generation to the next, Sly has accumulated massive wealth. He's pulled many of his heists as the leader of the Cooper Gang. But the thief does have a code of honor, vowing only to steal from other thieves.
In-ring wise, Sly has burst on the scene in the last two years for the United Wrestling League, where he was junior heavyweight champion for over a year, and in the CAW Champions League, where he's currently their Breakthrough Champion. Last year, after pursuing her for years--or her pursuing him, Sly won the heart of Interpol Captain Carmelita Fox.
Riding high, but always seeking more, Sly Cooper looks to overcome the odds and become the ace of not just the CAW Champions League, but all of Virtual Wrestling United.

You see, I come from a long line of master thieves who kept all their secrets of sneaking and stealing in an ancient book: the Thievius Raccoonus. Anyone who read it learned to be especially sneaky, which is why we specialize in stealing from criminals. After all, there's no honor, no challenge, no fun stealing from ordinary people. You rip off a master criminal, and you know you're a master thief.

This Brazilian beauty trained by her grandfather in the art of capoeira rarely, if ever, fights out of envy, but she always has a goal in mind, no matter who the opponent. A two-time CCL Women’s and Women’s Tag Team Champion, Monteiro is one of CCL’s most successful performers. And her acrobatic moves and upbeat attitude have made her one of CCL’s most popular performers.

Some say I’ve done everything I can do in CCL. Win tournaments, win championships, gain popularity. And… maybe I have. [upbeat and excited] But I want to do it all again!

Eddie Checkmate: The first ever world champion and the face of the CWA. The self processed “Measuring Stick” of the CAW League of Nations. Eddie Checkmate strives (and usually succeeds) to be the gold standard of what a main-eventer should be. Eddie Checkmate talks, walks, and acts with confidence, will work until his last breath to get whatever he wants and never backs off from a fight. He is big-hearted, level-headed, and a bit too serious for his own good sometimes. In his defense, his two best friends Robert Squared and Lodestar Luminous are a couple of idiots. Eddie is a big brother/father figure to many of the younger talent of CWA and acts as its locker room leader, guiding them and showing just how good they can be.
Now Eddie steps into the uncharted waters of the CAW Champions League and raise the bar and become their measuring stick.

That name sounds elegant, right? Like the name of a princess from a land far, far away who awaits a hero to rescue her from a dragon-guarded castle. This is not that story.
Lodestar Luminous, the "Royal Blood Rebel" as she refers to herself, is a tomboy who lives her life without a filter and is damn proud of it. Short-tempered, potty-mouthed, loud, crude, lewd, snarky, sarcastic, and witty, this purple-headed pixie firecracker (as her wife lovingly calls her) does and says what she wants when she wants.
While she looks like she’s fun at parties and can light up a room (sometimes literally), Lodestar is very protective of her wife, her friends, and whatever she holds in her heart. That’s when her other personality emerges: a serious, no-nonsense wrestler that can go toe-to-toe with anyone and will fight to her last breath.
