What is this, really? The CAW Champions League is a wrestling show based in a wrestling video game (in this case, it's WWE 2K19. It would be WWE 2K20, but... it's kinda awful). Pretty much your Monday Night RAW or Friday Night Smackdown or AEW Dynamite or whatever your favorite wrestling show is. We put out shows almost every week. The show is currently in its tenth season, but this will be the first that uses voice actors for many of its roles instead of text promos.
What I do: Eddie Mac, yours truly, will do most of the heavy lifting for the show (creating the matches for the show, editing the matches, editing the audio, etc).
What you'll do: You, prospective voice actor or actress, will be providing the voices for some of the featured characters on the show. The reading time will rarely be more than five minutes per shot, and most will be around the three-minute range or less. Having a Discord account is most certainly required for this, as all of our recordings use Discord. Having other social media accounts isn't necessary, but it helps.
So... it doesn't pay? Unfortunately, it does not. I've mainly done it for fun for a decade as a hobby. It was through a friend I was introduced to this site and got the idea to add voice actors for some of the featured characters on the show.
So how should you audition? Best take for each line definitely. You can do more than one, of course. But keep the audition to under 90 seconds if possible.
Will there be more roles added? This is an ongoing project, one that will last certainly through the end of the year at least. So... yeah. There will be more roles added as needed. So if you see a role that isn't quite your voice range or emotion, keep watching. There will likely be one in the not-too-distant future. Promise.
So where will I find all this? Youtube, actually. Got a whole channel and everything, and here it is. You'll not only be credited for anything you do, but if you get a role, you'll get to see anything you do before anyone else. Plus you get to join the project Discord if you want.

The younger half-sister of Jamal and Roman Bedlam, "Sister Savage" Beryl Bedlam survived a traumatizing childhood that saw the death of both her mother and father along with his stepbrother's girlfriend in a horrific auto accident. She would become adopted into the family and took up combat sports to heal her emotional wounds. Beryl was quite accomplished on the minor circuit in MMA before a knee injury put those dreams on hold. Beryl would begin training to become a wrestler, and at 6'1" and 225 pounds, she's one of CCL's fiercest athletes. A combination of skill, speed, and power, Beryl is a fierce gladiator with the temper of her Caribbean half-brothers and her late mother's passion. One would be wise to not cross "Sister Savage".
Sister Savage is always ready for a fight. I fought people bigger than me, smaller than me, stronger than me. But none had the passion as me.
[laughs] I've tossed around better men and woman than you. You ain't got nothing on my brother and you got even less on me.
[reflective] All war is based on deception. Engage the enemy with what they expect, occupy their minds while you wait for the extraordinary moment --- that which they cannot anticipate.
The adopted daughter of a deathmatch wrestler, Envy at one time in her life had it all. Power. Friends. Riches. Even family. Envy was a co-founder of the Ashura organization with two childhood friends, but a mutiny and a hostile takeover nearly cost her everything--her friends, her empire, her family, her mother’s life, and nearly her life.
She got into wrestling to lay low, and eventually would rise in the ranks to become the president of the company she joined, Sports Entertainment Alternative. The many battles that followed took a toll on her physically and emotionally, forcing her back into the shadows.

How has that translated in the rings of virtual wrestling? Quite well, actually. She’s a former women’s champion and twice women’s tag team champion with perhaps her most trusted ally in the CAW Champions League, Christie Monteiro. She’s never one to stand down in a fight, even against the fiercest of opponents, and carries on her mission for truth and justice in the multiverse.
[confident] Of all people, you know who I am. Who the world needs me to be. I'm WONDER WOMAN!
[reflective] What one does when faced with the truth is more difficult than you would think.

Based on the Rumble Roses video game franchise, Fujiko Hinomoto is a heroic wrestler recently convinced out of retirement to challenge a new circuit--and a new generation of talent. Not only she wrestles the future, she trains some of its future with her Noble Rose Academy. Fully free from the control of Dr. Cutter and Anesthesia's experiments, Fujiko has learned to embrace both her dual personality: her heroic noble side, and her villainous evil side. However, she has channeled that evil side to only strike when absolutely necessary.
Fujiko looks to enter the CAW Champions League proving that she's not only still got it as a wrestler, but she has so much more to offer.
[reflective, turning heroic] My name is Fujiko (foo-jee-ko) Hinomoto (hee-no-moto). I am the Noble Rose. I am the red rose that has burst free from the ashes of wrestlers who were scorched on their path to greatness. Evildoers, your day has come, for you will be stung by the thorns of justice!
[stern] You of all people should know who I am. I am Fujiko Hinomoto, the Noble Rose! And in the name of justice, I will help defeat Tiger's Den!
I may have an evil side planted in me thanks to an operation I was... less than willing to go through, but... [seductive] I am in full control. I'm free to be as I wish. You can call it my evil side. I like to call it... my wild side.
Known as Takuma Fujii, masked wrestler Tiger the Dark is one of Tiger's Den's youngest prodigies. At age 18, he watched his father suffer crippling injuries and watched as his training gym crumbled and ultimately closed. Driven by a desire for revenge, Tiger the Dark joined Tiger's Den and GWM with a mission to take down the organizations from the inside.
Tiger the Dark is by nature a loner, concerned only about competing and winning championships. But concerned with what his affiliation may be doing to the CAW Champions League and other Virtual Wrestling United leagues, Dark will soon discover his destiny and fight for his budding legacy.

Sly Cooper is the latest in the long line of thieves in his family. Thanks to what he's learned and acquired through the "Thievius Raccoonus", a book of techniques passed down from one generation to the next, Sly has accumulated massive wealth. He's pulled many of his heists as the leader of the Cooper Gang. But the thief does have a code of honor, vowing only to steal from other thieves.
In-ring wise, Sly has burst on the scene in the last two years for the United Wrestling League, where he was junior heavyweight champion for over a year, and in the CAW Champions League, where he's currently their Breakthrough Champion. Last year, after pursuing her for years--or her pursuing him, Sly won the heart of Interpol Captain Carmelita Fox.
Riding high, but always seeking more, Sly Cooper looks to overcome the odds and become the ace of not just the CAW Champions League, but all of Virtual Wrestling United.
[reflective tone] It all began when I was just a kid, bouncing on my father's knee. You see, I come from a long line of master thieves who kept all their secrets of sneaking and stealing in an ancient book: the Thievius Raccoonus. Anyone who read it learned to be especially sneaky, which is why we specialize in stealing from criminals. After all, there's no honor, no challenge, no fun stealing from ordinary people. You rip off a master criminal, and you know you're a master thief.
[sly tone] Carmelita's just as angry as ever. She's really quite lovely when she's angry.
