Paella is a 5-episode animated comedy that is entering its second episode. This production is a part of the Chop 2 The Top OCT competition. The story follows Ducky, an amature detective in search of an ancient treasure, the Golden Paella. This treasure is said to be locked in the legendary Tower of Gobble, the holy land for all things food and cooking. Ducky must climb the unique floors of the tower and complete wacky food-related challenges in order to finally solve the mystery, as well as find her friend who disappeared looking for it.
The story will be told in 5-10 minute episodes, with a 2 month gap between each installment. If you don't fit any of the current characters, be sure to check back before the next installment to audition again.
Auditioners must be available to voice their characters until the end of July 2022, when the final episode premieres.
Auditions have been extended to July 7th.
Recording will begin immediately after and lines will need to be completed by July 24th.
Episode summary: After losing her status as a Ducktective, Ducky contemplates the purpose of her journey. Meanwhile, her friends face off against Alfred as his plan to take over the Tower of Gobble goes into full effect. Can Ducky regain her strength in time to stop Alfred?

April is a snarky, mischievous fae who is searching the tower for her lost memories. While not the brightest, April is clever, and despite being completely blind, she can take strong enemies with a simple kitchen knife. She treats most things like a game, having fun even in the most dangerous situations. In very rare instances she will show her serious side, and when she does, nobody is safe.
Tone: Mid-low tone, energetic, snarky, sleazy, excited, devious (think a hyperactive Saul Goodman or Greed from FMA)

"What's wrong, never seen a knife at a bomb fight? Why are there so many bombs here anyway? You said this was a rescue mission! The most powerful guardian of the Tower of Gobble. Big Mac resides in the fiery landscape that is the final floor of the tower. His thunderous, booming voice can be heard echoing across the tower, his powerful laugh shakes the earth beneath him. While he gives the impression of a sweet, lovable giant, Big Mac is also a fearsome warlord, and wants nothing more than to see the true power of Ducky and her friends.
Tone: Booming, macho, deep, bellowing, energetic, intimidating (Think Captain Gantu or Gamagoori)
