(RECAST) Camp Castaway CASTING CALL
Project Overview
The official Casting Call for Camp Castaway! There are 18 voice roles to go for!
16 contestants from all walks of life will have to survive this abandoned island to secure the $1,000,000 prize!
To survive, they must endure the environment, the brutal challenges, and of course, each other! Friendships will be made, alliances forged, enemies made, and war will wage! Who will come out on top?
This is a passion project of mine and would love to make it a reality! This is still in early development, but making this a bigger thing would be amazing!
PLEASE NOTE that I won't be able to pay everyone involved due to the current budget I'm working with, but should this become more, I will reconsider that! Would love to do greetings and find ways to ensure payment asap!
Something I do want to make known is that while each character has specifics to their voice for the auditions, like an accent or how they say things, you can add your own spin to the character! You could make the voice and character fit around you if you desire too! Improv is smiled upon, so if you think something would work, don’t hesitate to add it, I love seeing people's creative side come out!
There are 18 total roles to go for, 9 guys and 9 girls to be specific! You can audition for multiple characters, however if casted you’ll only be casted in one role, to give more people the opportunity to be a part of this!
Looking for the best voice for each character, casting will not be determined based on popularity, it will be determined by who has the voice to match the character, and who can become the character per say, to determine who’s the best fit for each character!

Aurora is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! She’s a kind soul who dreams of being on stage and becoming the next Beyoncé, having a desire to sing on the big stage, she just needs the money and being a barista isn’t cutting it! She’s been juggling both being a barista and a college student, which has left her constantly stressed, both due to her constant schoolwork and irritating customers, and when she’s too stressed, she’s known to have “freakouts”. Can Aurora win the money and pursue her dreams, or is she destined to serve coffee to entitled customers?

Dustin is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! He’s a party lovin’ rockstar who believes the best way to live life is to live carefree instead of dwelling on the little things, which his fiancé isn’t always a fan of. He may not be the brightest bulb of the bunch, in fact he’s nowhere close to the brightest bulb, but he has a heart of gold, and believes that no one should be excluded from fun, so he invites everybody he knows, even if two people he knows have problems. He saw the applications and saw a new opportunity to have fun and meet new people. Can this himbo secure the bag or is his mindset setting himself up for failure?

Elliot is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! He’s a content creator on the rise, known for doing all kinds of dangerous stuff on YouTube, where his channel has over 3 million subscribers! The adoring fans and constant desire for attention has given Elliot an ego and has made him become very arrogant, making him prone to getting into controversies and not backing away from these issues. After his latest controversy, his parents suggested he do this show to show a new side of him, believing he’s still a good kid at heart. Are they correct about Elliot, or is what we see what we get?

Gabi is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! She is a well known content creator online, known for her unique and original choreographic dances, securing her some big gigs with famous celebrities since she was 14! She’s been dancing since she was 5, learning from her grandma how to express herself through song and dance, which has resulted in her successful career. She hasn’t been able to secure new gigs lately due to a car accident that took her leg over a year ago, and she hasn’t been on the dance floor since the accident. She would’ve felt so much more lost had it not been her family who’s been her anchor, and it was her grandma who pushed Gabi to go onto this show, thinking it could help Gabi get her groove back. Will she get back on her feet, or will she have to find a new career?

Jaiden is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! She’s a massive trouble maker who’s prone to getting into trouble and stirring the pot, even amongst her friends. She has a degree in psychology, which she fully uses to take advantage of the unfortunate and guys in general. Knowing how easily a guy can fall in love with a girl and do what said girl wants, she uses her looks to get guys to do what she wants then dumps them when she has no more use for them, as she thinks love is meaningless and has no desire for a relationship. She’s recently had financial troubles that have made her desperate enough to do this show. Can she sway her way to the end, or is she stuck down in the dumps?

Kamryn is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! It was love at first sight when she stepped into the gym with her dad for the first time and saw the boxing ring when she was 13, and has been going ever since, becoming one of the most well known boxers, not only for her strength, but also her heart. She has a heart of solid gold, believing everyone deserves a chance to become so much more. She knows what it’s like to be beaten down by others, as she was constantly bullied for her looks when she was younger, getting to the point of physical abuse from her peers. It’s actually why her dad took her to the gym for the first time, so she knew how to protect herself. Since then she’s made a vow to stand up for others who can’t stand up for themselves, putting herself in a big sister position. Is her skillset enough to win her the million dollars, or is the undefeated champion going to lose to the competition?

Krystle is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! She’s a well known model and it’s all she’s ever known, as she’s been doing modeling work since she was 12 years old, pushed to do this by her parents. She knows everything about the modeling world, from how to make yourself gorgeous, to how to get a good and healthy gig, trust her, she’s learned from her past mistakes in regards to that. Recently she’s felt lost and would like to branch out and do new things, and her most recent addiction has been gaming, finding a new passion in 100% completing every game she plays. She’s been craving another new joy and managed to find this show and thought this could be fun. Could this be a new way for her to branch out, or is she not cut out for this?

Lee is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! He’s a big time actor, acting since he was 11 years old, having the time of his life ever since! He had a rough patch in his younger years and was doing some reality tv shows before getting back onto the big screen, and grew a special love for reality tv, and has kept an eye on shows much like this one. When he isn’t acting or watching reality tv, he’s at the club partying and finding a new woman every night, as he’s known by his friends as a major womanizer, and is the master of flirting. Well, once he realizes a girl is into him, he’s far too oblivious for his own good. Can he use his skillset to outdo the competition, or is this not the show for him?

Martin is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! It may not look like it, but he’s accomplished a lot despite only being 24. He’s a fashion icon, owning his own fashion company and has published 3 bestselling books, one of which will become a movie soon! Despite his accomplishments, he finds himself quite bored with his life, craving a new challenge to bring more excitement to his life, which he hasn’t found in 2 years. Once he finds his new challenge, he’s known to get quite obsessive over it, which he’s been trying to work on, as he knows it isn’t healthy for him. He just so happened to stumble upon this show one day and felt he could give it a shot. After all, what does he have to lose? Can he beat this potential challenge, or is he out of his element?

Matthew is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! He’s a DJ well known for the sick beats he drops, always making a new soundtrack for every major party he’s hired for. Matt is all about having fun and doing dumb things with his friends, from skateboarding to dumb parkour videos to major prank wars, he knows no bounds to what they can do for fun. He’s currently trying to become a rapper through SoundCloud as ‘Lil Matty’ which has had mixed reactions, which he has elected to ignore. He’s also known as the world’s greatest wingman, living by the phrase “Bros Over Hoes” and only applied for this show because of a dare. Can he win the money to kickstart his career, or should he have backed out of the dare?

Nyla is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! She’s an aspiring artist looking to make it big, whether that’s through her paintings or online commissions, it really doesn’t matter to her, as long as she can continue with her passion! She does it all, from painting, to drawing, to sculpting, really anything artsy she can get her hands on! She’s fallen in love with art since she was a kid, and wants it to be her legacy. She’s constantly asked about her life beyond the canvas, but she always says she has no time for romance or planning her life past her choice of career, since she has some more art to do. Her parents pushed her to apply just to help her move out. Can she paint the vision of her winning, or is this the one art piece she can’t complete?

Oceane is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! Oceane tends to come off as “weird” upon a first glance, but there’s more to her than meets the eye! She graduated early at the top of her class, as she was raised in a household where school was more important than friends, and after a big event after she graduated, Oceane ran away from home at 17 to pursue her own dreams, while growing a thick skin and masking her emotions. She managed to find peace online and through that she became a part of a major podcast, and able to discuss whatever. Oceane knows her biggest strength is her insane accuracy on her reads, she’s correct 99% of the time, so she applied out of boredom but wants to see how well she can do on one of these shows. Can she use her talents to take it all, or is she getting the wrong read about her shot to win?

Oua is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! She’s a totally normal theater kid who dreams of making it on the big stages! She’s been a part of small plays, she wants to make it big! While she’s naturally great at surfing, as she’s won five major contests back home on Kauai, Hawaii, but she is mainly known for being a mischievous tomboy who will enact revenge if she’s done wrong. She loves to have fun and play rough, but will show her sweet side when she realizes she took it too far. She has a big heart, and wants to find her person, everyone else around her has, so she hopes to find hers too! It’s partially why she applied for the show. Can this be the beginning of her career, or will the curtain close on Oua?

He’s the head chef in a big restaurant, so he never thought he’d do reality tv, that is, until he got convinced to do the show by his daughters, who love reality tv! He has a heart of gold, he can’t stand leaving a problem without a resolution, and will go out of his way to solve it. He used to be a biker until he became a dad, and he thinks he might be able to apply his old life to this show!

Trinton is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! He’s a very shy and cautious guy, preferring to stay in the background due to his past with people. He doesn’t talk to many people, only stays in contact with his older sister and her husband, who convinced him to give this show a try! He knows there’s more to life than staying in his room, but he believes no one would want to be near him due to how he looks.

Uriah is a contestant on “Camp Castaway”! He comes from a rich family and while he’s grateful for all they’ve done, he hates how sheltered he has been, so he’s gone out exploring and doing things he’d never thought he’d do! He’s learned a lot, and has become a survival expert! He’s also a massive geek and will geek out over anything Star Wars or Lord of the Rings related, even Marvel and DC! He’s been told he’s a “jack of all trades”, and when he saw this show, he figured he could give it a go and see what he’s made of!

Rose is on “Camp Castaway”! She’s a big ol goofball, hoping to get through college with ease. Slight issue, she isn’t good at paying attention. She is known to get easily distracted, whether that’s by people or animals or anything fuzzy. She’s a big ol goofball who loves most things in life. And it helps that she has the support of her dad and her two younger sisters, so Rose feels like she can accomplish great things but she tends to get in her own way every single time. She applied for this show to give herself a way to get some money, but also help her pay more attention so she can get through college and achieve her wildest dreams.

Luke is the host of “Camp Castaway”! After many failed shows due to “reasons”, Luke was able to land the role of host for Camp Castaway! He is someone who will stir the pot any chance he gets, but will respect the rules and enforce them when needed. He has recently gotten a divorce for “reasons”, and his friends have convinced him to put his all into this role to keep him occupied, so he plans to go all out to ensure this doesn’t become a failed show!
