NEW Blush Blush - Looking for Anime Game Actors
Project Overview
The story of Blush Blush takes place in a semi-fantastic world - it's narrative runs on "anime logic" quite a bit. The plot revolves around an "incident" wherein the main player character accidentally curses 12 guys. Most of them respond to this tragedy like it's a major inconvenience, but otherwise continue on with their lives. Note: Each boy is transformed in a way that will require the Actor to perform in a different way for comedic effect, so there will be 2 performances required with each role.
The main player must search out the guys he/she has cursed, and only a "kiss of true love" can save them. So basically they have to take the boys on dates and fall in love with them.
It's full of comedy and witty one-liners, from the developers of Crush Crush. Please note, this is a dating game so there will be the full gamut of cute to sexy dialogue. We will have adult themes in some versions of our games, therefore we ask that only actors who are 18 and older apply. While the theme of the game is very lighthearted and fun, you must be comfortable with delivering mature and sometimes risqué dialogue. We can provide examples if you are unsure, or you can check out our game, Blush Blush, free on Steam and Android.
It’s very important that you have a good mic with no background noise; we’re looking for high quality semi-pro or pro auditions.

If chosen, you will be emailed a contract with details of how many lines we need and how compensation will work. We are looking to voice our characters with 'reaction sounds' mixed with spoken lines, similar to the way 'Dream Daddy' had their voiceovers. The amount of sounds/lines per character is about 100 (or 200 words). For the other part of the performance we require fully spoken dialogue for a script around the length of 3,000 words.

Kitsune auditions are closing today!
It's the final day for submitting Aki, Haru and Fuyu auditions! Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who submitted - we got an incredible response from people which resulted in TONS of awesome auditions being submitted. Ace is a sweet and socially awkward jock who has a thing for baseball. A BIG thing for baseball. We want him to channel pure himbo energy, and be comfortable delivering puns. Large vocal range is preferred as during this character’s arc he is a bat and then a human. Bat voice (Gullible line) can be squeakier, and human voice (other 2) should be deep.

Aki is a young, one-tailed kitsune. The character starts trapped in fox form and slowly gains the ability to shift into a human. He has a young voice, inspired by characters such as Tai (Digimon), Peter Pan, and Reki (Sk8 the Infinity). Endlessly mischievous, it should SOUND like he always has something up his sleeve or that everything he says is a lead-in for a joke or fool's errand of some sort. He is cheerful and does not care that his jokes are obvious. As the relationship progresses, his "serious" lines should be said in a lower tone, implying the cheerfulness in the earlier lines was somewhat of a conscious effort.

Haru is a two-tailed kitsune and a total playboy. Whether he's in fox form or human form, he's laid back, overly confident, and knows how to use his looks to get what he wants! His voice should sound extremely charming, but there are also moments where his flirtatious-facade slips and he says something more genuine. As his relationship with the player progresses, his lines become less "pickup artist" and more mind-meltingly romantic. Make us weak in the knees, please!

Fuyu is the eldest kitsune. He is poised, cultured, imperious and haughty. He starts off intense and demanding, even threatening violence, then as he warms up becomes more wistful and sensitive/poetic. Once a courtier and an actor, he is a man out of time and should sound old-fashioned upper crust. Very classy, a little stuck up but with a soft almost geeky side when he's talking about the arts. Totally un-self-aware.

Reece is a brilliant, adventurous, spacetime-travelling creature collector who is an alien but also somehow British. Through magical circumstances he has been turned into a cat, and the player must break the curse with true love's kiss. He’s eccentric, clever, curious, and kind-hearted. Smart without being superior, he’s eager to befriend everyone he meets and to share his varied special interests. He should be a fast talker, with infectious enthusiasm for whatever he’s discussing, and he should use gibberish words and silly sci-fi phrases confidently and with complete sincerity. He should have a youthful, expressive, cheerful-bordering-on-manic manner of speaking and have an instantly recognizable English accent–one like you might expect to hear from a cute dorky bloke you bumped into at the library, NOT an upper crust quintessentially British villain.

Seth is a demon. A hot, charming demon. He enjoys playing with fire, collecting souls, and tricking people with riddles. Lately, though, he's bored, and searching for new ways of entertaining himself. Seth's voice should sound youthful but mature, with a husky "bad boy" vibe. He's well-spoken and his tone is controlled - unless his emotions get away from him. Either way, he speaks with total confidence. We're thinking a British accent might be nice for him, but not necessary (just in case you want to try that direction).

Logan is our hunky firefighter. He’s masculine and very down-to-earth, with a sweetness to him that’ll make you swoon. He’s super safety-conscious and lives to protect, and though he’s pretty confident, he’s not above fishing for silly compliments. Logan’s voice should be a little deep, easygoing, maybe with a slight New York accent - think Joey Tribbiani from Friends. We will also require an animal-version of his voice for some lines, since part of his story is that he's been transformed into an adorable otter by magical circumstances.
"My last attempt at a relationship ended when my date surprised me with a candlelit picnic in the park. I just couldn't be with someone who'd have an open flame in the middle of a wooded area like that!"
"Night shifts at the station are pretty boring. Me and the crew usually play poker or watch a movie, but maybe next time... You and I could do some more texting? That'll definitely make the time fly, 'cause talking to you is so fun."
[ VA note: say this line in his animal-form (otter) ] “Hey. Thanks for treating me so normal even though I’m an otter right now. And if for some reason I’m stuck being an otter... I’ll still count myself lucky, ‘cause I’ll have you as a friend.”
