Project Overview
Everest Productions presents an all-new fan-made comic dub of Batman: The Animated Series. Batman: The Adventures Continue is a DC Comics comic book series starring Batman set in the world of Batman: The Animated Series, as opposed to the regular DC Universe.
The book is co-written by Paul Dini and Alan Burnett, producers of the original animated television series, and illustrated by Ty Templeton, who also worked on previous comics inspired by Batman: TAS.

Commissioner Jim Gordon: First appearance: Detective Comics No. 27. Commissioner James W. Gordon is the head of the Gotham Police Department. He and Batman shared information and formed a strong friendship. Their respect for each other was equal: Gordon often felt that Gotham City would fall apart without Batman, while Batman felt that the city needed someone like Gordon watching over it "24 hours a day". Action Comics No. 23. Lex Luthor was a powerful businessman and criminal mastermind. He was widely considered to be one of Earth's most brilliant minds and one of Superman's greatest enemies. Batman No. 436. Tim Drake was the son of criminal Steven "Shifty" Drake, a thug for the crime lord Two-Face. He had very little respect for his father, and often had to fend for himself. Around the age of 10, Drake began to idolize Gotham City hero Batman and placed newspaper clippings on his wall. After Batman left a batarang behind at a crime scene, Drake found it and began using it himself. He would replace Jason Todd as Robin. Robin is a symbol just as much as Batman is. It isn’t just a symbol of the law, it’s a symbol of justice. And Batman needs a Robin.

Batman No. 357. Jason Todd is the second Robin. Jason Todd had a troubled upbringing. In this universe his Brother was killed while being lookout. Jason tracked them down and fought then. Batman took Jason under his wing and trained him to be the next Robin after Dick Grayson. Nothing else is really known, but considering the character's history the Joker is more than likely going to kill him and Ra’s Al Ghul will resurrect him. Nothing to reference, so feel free to come up with something.

The New Teen Titans No. 2. Slade Wilson is a mercenary and assassin for hire with no qualms about crossing lines to get the job done, no matter where those lines are drawn. This is Slade Wilson’s first appearance in the DCAU so the voice can be completely original. (Supporting)

The granddaughter of a famous hunter and the daughter of an army man, Veronica Vreeland led a wealthy life off of her trust fund. She lived in a mansion on the outskirts of Gotham City, where she was involved in numerous charities and fundraisers. In these circles, she became a good friend to Bruce Wayne and often pursued him as a potential romantic partner, although it never went beyond simply being his friend. This friendship would continue for decades as Bruce made a public appearance at the new hotel the Vreeland family opened. Summer Gleeson was a news reporter and anchor in Gotham City. She worked for WGOB, and was the host of Gotham Insider. She was always a minor character so interpretation is open on this one.
I'm sure there's more to these crimes against Bruce Wayne than meets the eye.

Detective Comics No. 441. Lieutenant Harvey Bullock was a top investigator for the Gotham Police Department who worked directly under Commissioner Gordon. Known for his love of food, he was still quite an effective cop in his own right, although probably not quite as effective as he would like to think he was. He doesn't trust or like Batman, even considering him a criminal at times, but has still teamed up with him to keep Gotham safe on numerous occasions. Vengeance of Bane No. 1. Bane is a member of Batman’s “Rogues Gallery” and one that possesses the specific challenge of strength against the Dark Knight. Bane however unlike some depictions of the character in other media is not a fool with no brain, Bane has intellect as well and is not someone to take lightly.
