Generation of the Gods is the newest Minecraft roleplay (MCTV) series from the Generations Minecraft roleplay team! Our group works with multiple creators who all come together to work on a roleplay together to create an expansive world with multiple perspectives for all audiences to watch! If you're interested in voice acting for this project, here's a brief overview of the series itself and what you can expect when becoming a voice actor!
Series Overview:
Generation of the Gods is a modern mythological series based mostly upon the world of Percy Jackson. The twist is that instead of the usual Greek camp, our main characters take up roles from the Roman mythological side of the story! The demigods here find their way to Camp Saturn through a portal that resides hidden within Philadelphia.
What to expect as a voice actor:
If you wish to become a voice actor for the Generations team for one of the roles below, understand that you'll be primarily assigned to whoever owns the character you've been selected for. Most communications are done through Discord, but it's up to you if you'd prefer to keep communications through dms only.
You'll be expected to remain available until the end of the series which simply comes down to the pace all of the YouTubers work at. We're a casual group of YouTubers, so there should be no stress to perform. Deadlines are normally given a week or more in advance, although depending on what YouTuber is in charge of your character may determine how communications and business is handled.
Tips for auditions:
It's recommended to do 2-3 takes per line to get a good range of how well your range is for the type of character. Feel free to break from the lines a bit in case you are having problems interpreting the line or if it just isn't rolling off the tongue right!
In case if you haven't seen, a new voice is available for auditioning! This is needed on a short notice, so if able, feel free to cast your audition for Mariana Noxon in the project here!
If the deadline is too soon for many of you and we still need a voice, an extension may happen, but get your auditions in asap to secure a chance at getting the role! Thank you for reading and we hope to see you apply!

With this being said, we're deciding to shorten the origional deadline by two days (to the end of the 26th EST). So if you plan on auditioning, make sure to double check the new deadline to ensure you're not late to the end!

Mariana Noxon is an unsettling maternal figure of Silas Noxon tied to rage and insanity, she can appear warm, comforting, and almost hypnotic, but there is always something off beneath the surface. Her personality shifts between motherly and erratic. We are in need of someone who will be able to make her voice sound erratic when she turns into rage in a frenzy but still terrifying and manipulative. The voice actor who portrays Mariana should be able to scream when needed and laugh loudly in a terrifying tone.
(Manipulative / warm / Snake-Like) "Why fight the chaos, Silas? It's the only thing that's honest in this miserable little world."
(Fury and anger) “Vespera will never have a place in our home, Silas. She soothes the Manes… and I do not accept that kind of peace. Not from her. Not from a parasite’s daughter. ”
“Mark my word Silas… you are no one’s son but mine. Your heart is merely clay, and when the dam of your mind finally shatters, the torrent of my chaos will drown every fragile thing you have ever loved!”
Timor is the Roman god of fear and the main antagonist for the perspective of Milo Ellis. Timor is a god assigned to stalk and assassinate targets as dictated by the gods of higher power. While Timor's official task is to assassinate targets, their ability to influence fear in others leads them to take the longer road and instead torments their targets like they're "playing with their food."
Their overall demeanor is playful or teasing on the surface, but menacing in their intent. The only time Timor isn't messing around is when they have a real opponent, but those are a rare site, and Milo is certainly not one of those people.
Their physical appearance and general attributes are all unspecified as their existence is meant to represent the unknown, or "fear of the unknown." Their default appearance to others is simply a shadowy figure shrouded in darkness. Even their eyes are inhuman.
(Slowly + Casual) "Well... you're the one who's caused Mars such a big headache. Thought you'd be more... well, competent."
(Playful + Mocking) "I recommend you start running. It's more fun that way."
(Menacing) "We'll see each other again soon enough. That, I can promise."
Detached, observant, quietly protective. He’s the most composed person in the room and the one Ves trusts the most when things stop making sense. He’s constantly tired and not caring about the situation they’re in. Luka can also be described as having a crude and rash personality.
“I told you not to touch the coin. You touched the coin. This is the consequence.”
“You’re not unlucky like Ves is. You’re just stupid.”
“This is why I hate impulsive people.”
Auri is perky, bubbly, energetic and tactile, showing her love for her friends whenever she can. She can also be very naive at times and a scaredy cat. She is lovable to be around and easy to get along with. She has tons of optimism and open mindedness. Optimistic, anxious, caring, and very emotionally transparent. She’s the heart of the group and the most openly vulnerable—she doesn’t hide when she’s scared. To be able to audition for Auri you must be able to be willing to get loud and scream when she is supposed to and cry when she is sobbing. Like Silas she does not hold back on her emotions.
(Crying and panicking) “PLEASE DON’T EAT ME—I PROMISE I’M NOT TASTY!”
“OH NO—NOPE! ABSOLUTELY NOT! A GRAVEYARD, LUKA!? WHY ON EARTH WOULD WE GO THERE!?”
“Uhhh… guys~ I don’t think we’re in Philadelphia anymore.”
Chaotic, defensive, and deeply loyal in a way that borders on self-destructive. Silas copes with grief by mocking it and poking it. Silas is full of humor and rage and hates feeling helpless more than anything. In order to audition for Silas, you must be able to shout and emote rage properly for him. Silas does not hold back on his feelings.
“Okay—nope—don’t like that! I don’t like any of that! Why is it moving? WHY DOES IT KEEP COMING BACK?! DIDN’T WE KILL IT?!”
“Ves, if this is your ‘bad luck’ again, I’m suing fate!”
“I hate this. I hate ghosts. I hate god! I SWEAR if this is another one of your cursed side-quests, Ves—”
Bacchus is the roman god of parties, wine and crazy. Most people find him to be a bit grumpy and very prideful but if you get to know him he might just remember your name correctly. Out and about he is normally enjoying the parties he finds or creates with his own party cult, however if he needs to do any admin responsibilities his mood quickly sours. Whenever someone doesn't speak to him with reverence (baring other gods and select mortals) he is quick to remind them of his godly powers one of which being able to turn you into any animal, his favorite being dolphins.
"You mortals and your inability to have fun... Drink some wine! Dance your heart out and live a little! 'Cause soon that won't be a certainty..."
"Use that tone again and I'll make you appreciate life as a dolphin."
"Sorry, my hands are tied. Orders from above says you have to go. I suggest you leave while I'm feeling merciful."
This is a harpy from the underworld and she is crow-feather themed. We need a voice for her! We’re looking for a voice that is raspy, sardonic, and slightly feral. with a natural scratch to it! There’s a mocking lilt in her tone, like she’s always amused by something no one else understands. When she laughs, it’s short and crow-like almost a caw she tries to pass off as a chuckle.
(Angry while chasing VES!) “COME BACK, DAUGHTER OF NAENIA! YOUR MOTHER CALLS FOR YOU!”
"You carry what does not belong to you. Hand it over."
"You seem to forget, girl. Crows remember faces. And I never forget what’s owed to me! DIE!!"
