Ask Zelda Casting Call #1 (First Arc)
Project Overview
"In the land of Hyrule there echoes a legendary tale. A tale that spans throughout the ages, telling of a never-ending cycle between a master of darkness, the green-clad hero destined to stop him, and the royal princess forever entwined in their conflict. As the decades pass, the tale has taken many forms. Some of them similar to the tiniest detail, others almost completely unrecognizable. But they all share the same hero, princess, and dark master. Now, due to some unexplained force, the various iterations of this legendary tale have gathered in one place. And they are here to answer the questions of any and all who have followed their tales..."
This is an Ask Zelda series; initially the project was the feature Princess Zelda exclusively, but Link was added into the mix, too.
There have been some changes since the project first started:
Sprite-oriented Zelda games will be sprite animated and 3D Zelda games will be animated with machinima or other means of 3D animation.
Instead of starting with the most popular games, they will start in chronological release-date order (non-timeline) so I'm casting for the first three Zelda games with Zelda and Link for the time being.
Requirements:
Good mic quality (XLR mic preferred)
No background noise
Must have Discord to work with the writers and directors
I will be paying 10 cents a word to start off. I originally started off with rates, but I want to pay everyone fairly.

Princess Zelda I was the first princess in the Zelda trilogy, a young girl in the first game and a teen in the second game. Not much is known about this princess other than she scattered the Triforce of Wisdom for a hero to find and defeat Ganon. Her nursemaid, Impa, found Link and he was the one who gathered the pieces of the Triforce and defeated Ganon. In the second game, she was cast into a deep sleep, rescued by Link once again when he gathered all of the crystals to gain the Triforce of Courage in order to break the spell on her.
Voice type: Innocent, yet slightly sassy teenager voice, especially when she tries to keep Link in line.

*excited* Welcome, everyone to our very first episode of “Ask Zelda!”
*cuts Link off when he says, “Excuuuuuse me, Princess!”, annoyed* Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah! We’re NOT going there right now.
Why yes, I am the first princess of Hyrule…or so they say…
This Zelda was the last free descendant of the maiden descendants of the seven wise men, who communicated with Link telepathically to rescue her from the castle dungeon. Eventually, the evil wizard captured her to break the barrier between the Light World and the Dark World. Link freed her and they made a wish on the Triforce to return peace to Hyrule. Zelda is mature, no-nonsense and doesn’t really grasp the concept of “letting loose and having fun.”
Voice type: Mid-teen, mature

*communicating telepathically with Link* Help me… Please help me… I am a prisoner in the dungeon of the castle. My name is Zelda. The wizard, Agahnim, has done… something to the other missing girls. Now only I remain…
Link, listen carefully. The wizard is magically controlling all the soldiers in the castle. I fear the worst for my father…
*repeating the question asked* “What do I think about Link?” Well, he rescued me from that evil wizard and saved Hyrule. I don’t really know him very well–at least not right now.
Link was the hero that rescued Zelda from the evil wizard Agahnim in “A Link to the Past.” He is a descendant of the Knights of Hyrule and has a strong sense of duty. He made a wish on the Triforce to restore peace to Hyrule as well as to save his uncle who was mortally wounded. Deep down, he is still a child who has somewhat of a sense of humor. He will answer almost any question.
Voice type: Mid-teen with a mature, yet childlike edge.

*answering a question* “If I could use the Triforce for anything else,” huh? Well, I’d use it to give Princess Zelda–*hesitating* And myself… a proper childhood, so we can play like kids.
