Aperture Abloom - Student Thesis Film
Project Overview
Hi, I'm looking for somebody to compose a song for my student thesis film, "Aperture Abloom". The film will be about 2 minutes long. It is about two girls who reflect on their friendship while in nature. Please send in examples of pieces you've made. Skill level doesn't matter to me too much, as long as it sounds nice. I also don't care how you make it (real instruments, FL Studio, whatever), just NO AI!!!!! Also, in the role I have added an inspiration playlist, I'd appreciate if you listened to at least bit of it before applying :)
Details:
NO AI (Like, seriously.)
Giving examples of your work from before 2026 is preferred (giving examples that are all recent just kind of raises suspicions.)
Highly encouraged to apply if you've composed for student films before!
I need just instrumentals, so a singing audition is not required nor needed.
I may do my own vocals, (undecided), so if you apply you are consenting to me singing over the piece you compose.
Musician
Make a piece of music for my film. I've linked a playlist that has songs that are kind of the vibes I'm looking for. The film is going to be about two minutes, so the song will probably be about that length, but it will be further discussed. Thanks!
