Project Overview

SCP-Joymaker is a first-person stealth horror game set in Site-32, a research facility of the SCP Foundation. You play Cadet B. a new Mobile Task Force cadet sent down alone into Sublevel D on her first night on duty. The response team she was attached to has gone silent, and so has the checkpoint.

The game is told by ear. The player hears the story on the radio, on a couple of old tapes, and in B.'s own voice as she talks herself through the dark. Voice acting carries most of the game. Lines are short and plain, and a lot of them are said under the breath.

As a content warning: Its a horror game the game contains a lot of realistic looking blood, there's also small amounts of profanity.

    We never expected this. 362 auditions and over 3,000 views in just a few weeks, for a game made by a tiny studio. Thank you to everyone who sent in a reading, and to everyone who shared the call.
