Project Overview
ANTIGRAM is an interactive non-profit project inspired by the MILGRAM project. The warden of this prison, Es, is assigned ten prisoners to interrogate and analyze; however, each of them have committed a murder of some form. The audience must uncover the truth behind each of these sins and judge if that prisoner deserves forgiveness or punishment. Can even the worst of humanity be forgiven? That judgement lies in your hands.
Although MILGRAM itself is a music focused project, ANTIGRAM will not feature songs of any sort.
VAs with knowledge of the original series are preferred, but not required!
Any possibly upsetting topics regarding the chosen character will be discussed with VAs after casting is over.

This project will be unpaid as it is a passion project.
TO APPLY:
You must be 16+ to apply. Due to the nature of some crimes, select characters will be 18+ only. Please note that most of the cast covers sensitive topics.
Please include your preferred method of contact in your audition (preferably discord), as well as your name/username and age (“minor” or “adult” is okay.)
Please format your auditions in ABCABC. There are no limits on the amount of characters you may audition for.

(She/her, 18)
Nemo, or Es, is the protagonist and warden of the MILGRAM prison. With no memory of her previous life, she is headstrong and focused on her tasks as the warden. Her tone of voice tends to be bored and cynical, pushing out all emotions in favor of logic. Being the protagonist, this character requires the most range.
Low, sharp voices are preferred.

“Good evening, prisoners. I am Es, the warden of MILGRAM prison. This place exists to cast light upon your sins, and for judgement to be passed onto you. I look forward to meeting you all… welcome to MILGRAM.”
“To take one’s life… is that really something that can be forgiven?”
“E-even…Even then… I am the warden. No matter the cost… I will judge each and every one of your sins. That is my purpose.”
Jax plays the role of a guide for Nemo, instructing her on how the judgement system functions and informing the viewers of any changes between trials.
Jax has a snarky and teasing personality, often not taking things seriously. She tends to speak in monotonous tones, but can have moments of animated speaking, typically during tense, intimidating moments.
Feminine and androgynous voices capable of maniacal speech are preferred for this character.

“Don’t be fooled by any kind smiles, yeah? They’re all sinners. Each and every last one of them.”
“Kyahahh…. I can already tell you’ll be a perfect fit…!”
Mee-oh Shee-Noh-Zah-Kee (She/her, 23)
A beautiful prisoner who appears condescending and superficial- until you start talking to her, of course. Despite her brash and oftentimes attention-seeking behavior, she is a kind, playful person at heart. Her tone of voice is easygoing and confident, embodying the celebrity she claims to be. She tends to draw out her words longer than necessary as a quirk.

Syou-Jee Shee-Noh-Ha-Rah (He/him, 48)
A soft-spoken middle-aged man, and the oldest prison in MILGRAM. He doesn’t possess any discernible traits outside of his abnormal normalness and paranoia. He acts as any other male his age would act, and tends to keep conversations surface-level. He speaks with a level-headed and polite tone, never raising his voice no matter the scenario. An older voice on the deeper side is heavily preferred.

“That’s right… I killed someone. I don’t want forgiveness.”
“It’s better than being cramped up in an office, right? Ahaha… Nevermind, maybe you’re too young to understand that.”
Eh-Tsu-Yah Sue-Zoo-Key (He/She, 18)
A cold and blunt prisoner. He is persistent and getting what she wants, often to the point of obsession. Due to his habit of overworking himself and focusing on every miniscule detail, she is prone to stress and emotional breakdowns. His tone is straight-forward and condescending, completely devoid of any pleasantries or weakness.
An androgynous or masculine voice is preferred.

“My name is Etsuya Suzuki. I’m 18 years old… I don’t feel like sharing anything else. You don’t seem like the… trustworthy type.”
“Mm. A murderer… So what? I did what was necessary, of course. That’s all. I wouldn’t expect you to understand.”
“How much longer will all of this be… I have a tight schedule, you know. Not all of us are… ‘fortunate’ enough to be shut-ins.”
Toh-Mah Nah-Mee-Key (He/They, 21) (18+ ONLY)
An observant and quiet prisoner, Touma keeps to themself a majority of the time. Despite his altruistic behavior, Touma is heavily guarded and rarely talks about themself to others, preferring to shift the conversation to the other person. Because of their horrible memory, most see him as a superficial friend and horrible listener. In reality, Touma cares deeply for those around him.
His voice is gentle and soft most of the time, but he’s perfectly capable of being firm and loud.
NOTE: It is heavily preferred that the VA is black.

“Yeah, yeah. That is… true. Though… I don’t regret it as much as I thought I would.”
“There's something seriously wrong with this place, right? Gives me the creeps.”
Mee-Ah-Toh Morh-ree (She/her, 15)
Full of energy and excitement for just about anything, Miato is always in high-spirits no matter the topic… to the point of being inappropriate and rude at times. Though her words may come off as backhanded, she means every bit of it as honest advice.
Despite her cheerful demeanor, it’s difficult to figure out what she’s truly thinking at any given time.
Miato speaks in a high and bright manner.

Hee-Deh-Key Key-Hah-Rah (He/him, 25)
Always ontop of trends, Hideki is a top influencer and streamer. His content is well known especially in the west. Hideki is never seen without a polite smile, earning himself a reputation for his graciousness and charitablity. Behind closed doors however, he’s passive aggressive and easily irritated with what he deems as incompetence.
Hideki speaks in a gentle and upbeat voice.

“Hahahh… A murderer, huh? That’s funny. Well, if that’s what you want to believe, go ahead. I won’t stop you.”
“I expect good things from you, Es. Don’t think I’ll let you off the hook just cause you’re younger than me… Kidding, kidding.”
She-Orh-Ree High-Yah-She (She/her, 19)
A reserved prisoner who rarely leaves her cell. Shiori is often described as a control freak recluse by her peers. Shiori is content with this, and feels a hatred for humanity as a whole. Outside of this, Shiori is psssionate about what she believes in and makes sure to live life as seriously as she can. She’s meticulous and paranoid, preferring to do things herself rather than risk messing up.
Shiori’s voice is distant and monotone. Her speech is slow and thoughtful.

Ah-Key-Toh Mah-Tsu-Dah (He/him, 14)
The youngest of all the prisoners, Akito is forgiving and hopeful to a fault, trying to see the best in everyone no matter who they are. Despite being intelligent for his age, his sheltered upbringing limits a lot of his knowledge and isolates him from kids his age. He doesn’t believe himself to be that competent, often second guessing himself and going with what others say.
Feminine voices are preferred. His tone is cautious and nervous.

Nah-Tsu-Oh Sah-Sah-Key (He/him, 20)
A young male prisoner full of self-righteous justice and hypocrisy. This prisoner is defensive and prone to aggression, often speaking in a harsh manner. Around those he likes or deems ‘safe’, he can be loud and prideful to the point of being obnoxious.

NOTE: Natsuo is violently bigoted, conservative, and overall degrading with his words and beliefs. Please don’t audition for him if you aren’t comfortable with homophobia, misogyny, and religion as a general topic.

Sigh-Ohn Key-Moh-Toh (She/her, 33)
A soft, kind-hearted woman. Tsiyon is what most would consider the perfect wife. She’s gentle, keeps to herself, and nurturing. Beneath this, she’s full of pent up frustration and anger, tending to hold grudges for long periods of time. She’s careful to mask this, however, continuing to act how society expects her to.
Her voice is quiet and somber with hints of bitterness.
NOTE: A black VA is highly preferred.
