Project Overview

"First Night" is the first short story in my upcoming Novel/Audiodrama series "Trinity Bridge."


The series is about warring supernatural factions such as Werewolves, Vampires, Mages and Hunters and all their squabbling subsequent subspecies and factions being thrown into an impending apocalypse scenario forcing them to cast their differences aside for the sake of the planet. The task, however, is easier said than done since old scars and bad blood run deep within these factions and some would sooner see the world burn than stand beside the enemy.

"First Night" is a short story that helps introduce readers and listeners to the concepts of Vampires and Werewolves in this universe and how a human is turned into each one, while also showcasing the politics and relationships shared by the different supernaturals within their own kin and among the rest of the creatures of the night.

The story takes place in Chicago and focuses on two human women, Anita and Marsha, who find themselves thrust into the crossfire of a squabble between a resident Werewolf and the insidious vampire organization known as the necropolis.

I am hoping to turn most if not ALL of Trinity Bridge into an ongoing online novel and audiodrama series along with my other projects.

To do this however, I will need help from some talented and devoted voice actors to get this project off the ground and bring these characters to life. I currently have the scripts for chapters 1 & 2 finished and ready for production with more chapters on the way.

As far as payment goes, sadly, there is little I can afford to spare just yet. Hopefully if/when the series takes off, I can and hope to start a more profitable and stable pay roll. But until then, I must ask you do this as a labor of love.

RULES FOR AUDITIONING

1. Have a decent mic. It doesn't have to be uber pro level sound but If it sounds like headset or phone quality, you're out.

2. Act professional. I mean that in every sense of the word. When we are communicating I ask that you keep a professional and mature demeanor towards us and any of your fellow actors during audition and throughout production. When literally acting, be sure to give it your all and give me a believable performance. You don't need any prior acting experience to do be considered, just give me the best you got and I'll listen and consider you.

Feel free to audition for multiple parts. There is a chance you can be cast as multiple rolls should you desire it.

Anita is a very mousy and shy girl. She is a computer genius but has crippling social anxiety. Her voice is very high pitched but very timid and reserved as well. She works as the receptionist for K.C. Crank's Auto Repair Shop


By the end of the story, she is turned into a Vampire of a particularly hideous and monstrous persuasion and her voice will be affected by it as well so make sure your voice is up to the challenge.

  • *On the verge of an anxiety attack* "Oh Marsha… I wish... I could be strong like you…"

  • *Apologetic*  “I’m… I’m sorry… I know… I should have been stronger. I shouldn’t have such thin skin… I’m just too sensitive. I’m not strong and fearless like you, Marsha.”

  • *Flustered but excited* “YES! I MEAN NO! I MEAN YES! I MEAN…. I WANNA EAT SHIT WITH YOU! I MEAN EAT OUT WITH YOU! AFTER WORK! YES! PLEASE! THANK YOU!”




    *Savage Feral Vampire Noises*

    *raspy, hoarse and frightened* "W-What... What's happened to me?"

Marsha is a tough Latina woman and the Self-Proclaimed "Best Damned Mechanic in the World!" She does what she likes and she likes what she does. She is normally brimming with confidence and is fiercely protective of Anita. However she doesn't exactly know how to be gentle and soft, but god bless her she tries when the moment calls for it.


She speaks with confidence and strength with a very slight Latin American accent to her voice. 


By the end of the story, her Werewolf heritage manifests and she undergoes a transformation. And it fucking HURTS! So be ready and able to shout and scream without damaging yourself or your mic. And be ready to do this several times if needed.

  • *Confrontational* “What’d you say to her, you old bitch?”

  • *Comforting* “Hahaha! Good to hear the old bitch didn’t completely destroy you. ‘Cause if she did, I’d have destroyed her even worse.”

  • *Awkward and unsure but trying to remain cool* “Hey Anita… When I hugged you… was that weird?"

    *Painful horrifying Werewolf Transformation screams of agony and fright* (I want to HEAR the transformation in her voice)

Esther is the owner and proprietor of K.C. Crank's Auto Repair Shop and the boss of Anita and Marsha. She has a very laid back personality and an apathetic demeanor that can be off-putting to her employees, but she just owns it for herself.


She is also secretly a Mage of the Societatis Ipsum, the Society of Engineers.

  • *Teasing* “Look kid, we all got needs, I get it. Heck, I may be past my prime but even I still rub one out on occasion.”

  • *Annoyed* “So what? I’m supposed to just whip ‘em out and invite her to suckle every time I crack a joke just because she’s got paper thin skin and no sense of humor?”

  • *Dismissive* “The only thing I know I am right now is hungry. And I also happen to know what you are, Guerrero, not working! Now shut up and get back to fixing that car! My fries are getting cold!”

Siegfried is the owner and bartender of "The Wilds," a local bar in the city of Chicago that was recently bought by the Vampires to be re-purposed into a Vampire social Haven, much to the Wolf, Carlyle Jones' dismay.


He speaks with a very dry tone and a noticeable Norwegian accent. But I will accept any Scandinavian area accent... or even German if need be. 

  • “Carlyle, I am dealing with drunks, hobos and weirdos on a nightly basis. If there was any odor to be smelt, it has long since lost any effect on me”

  • “Please quiet down, Carlyle! I already told you, she just owns the property. I still make the policies and can do with the place as I wish. Heck I even take home all the profit! I basically just pay her rent or something. It’s no big deal!”


  • "Carlyle Jones, you son of a bitch! You better fucking pay for that window!"

Rufio is the leader of a local group of Vampire Thugs who takes offense to the Wolf, Carlyle, Insulting his benefactor and leads a head hunt against him.


He is big tough and gruff.

  • “Now listen here, lawyer man! As it happens, I like what ol’ Siggy’s done with the place and Ms. Von Straus is a very generous employer and hostess to me and my crew when she needs us and for the record, I bathe nightly. So your little speech just insulted not only me, but also my friends and my livelihood. So either you apologize like a good little bitch and maybe I’ll let you leave with at least one bone that isn’t broken.”

  • "You forgot one thing you ugly flesh mound! As long as one Tumen stands, the war ain’t over."

  • "How’s that taste, fucker?! HOW’S IT FUCKIN TASTE?!"

She speaks in a very thick inner city "street" dialect.

D.T. is essentially the mystic of the Vampire band. Her words are cryptic, mysterious and insane but contain great insight for the enlightened who can understand their true meaning.


She speaks softly but with stoicism clarity and certainty in her voice.

  • "Do you smell it brothers?"

  • "Yes, brother Drake! Blood! Blood is in the air! I can smell it! Thick! Delicious! Potent!"

Carson is one of the members of the Necropolis band. He is of clan Izverg, meaning he has the ability to use a power called "Forma Viventum" which allows him to mold and alter the flesh of his own body as well as others. He uses this power to take the form of a massive muscular monstrosity to attempt to dispatch an enemy of his band.


In human form, he speaks with a smooth confident Russian accent. 
In his Monstrous form his voice deepens significantly and becomes far more beastly and slow.

  • Heh! Heh! Heh! Heh! In direct combat the Tumen are indeed formidable, but caught unawares, they are vulnerable and fall like the Trojans.

  • *Monstrous and Sadistic* Grrrrn! Yessss! Such strength, such power… I cannot wait to devour it.

  • "I… I know… what you are… you… you did not save me… you kept me alive… what do you want of me?"



    *Horrifying monster noises*
