The main character in AIO is a technician who communicates with the Angels while struggling to survive on a damaged space station. Her mission is to document and send this groundbreaking discovery of the divine back to Earth before oxygen runs out in 3 days. To help players fully immerse themselves and feel as though they are playing as her, she doesn’t speak any words. Instead, she expresses herself through gestures, tonal sounds or other emotional cues, allowing players to read her dialogue in their own voice.
Example:
Dialog Text: "How am I supposed to fix this? I need some power tools..."
Voice Line: "[scoff] [deep exhale]" (maybe around 3 - 5 seconds long)
The name of this character is still being finalized.

Seraphim is the primary Angel who communicates with the protagonist, they are the highest-ranking angel and the first to contact her. The protagonist doesn’t fully trust Seraphim, as their reasons for revealing themselves remain unclear. Seraphim is a curious, highly intelligent, and multidimensional being who has taken an interest in conversing with a lone human facing a tragic fate in a deep-space accident.
Tone: A source of inspiration could be the character "Chaos" from Hades as an idea, but as the actor feel free to experiment with the character. Any editing abilities to make their voice sound ethereal or otherworldly would also be greatly appreciated if you have those editing skills!
As a divine, non-human entity, an androgynous voice could also suit Seraphim.

Do not be mistaken, I was sent here to speak with you before your imminent death, very few have been chosen for such guidance. You should feel honoured.
You’re too far from humanity to be rescued, and there’s only enough oxygen for three days. I’m afraid your death is inevitable.
To understand, to be at peace, and to prepare your soul for what lies beyond. These are not burdens you must bear alone.
Cherubim is a secondary Angel who interacts with the protagonist. Unlike the primary angel Seraphim, Cherubim is less interested in conversing about moral topics and prefers to agitate the protagonist for their own amusement. Residing in a bizarre, otherworldly cathedral that only appears at night, Cherubim’s motives remain unclear, adding to their unsettling presence. They seem to revel in the protagonist’s struggle, only offering cryptic guidance at a price.
Cherubim acts younger than the other angels and more human-like, they are playful, snarky, and teasing to the protagonist.

What do I want? Oh, you’re the one who came strolling through my home. Shouldn’t I be asking you what you want? Or did you just get lost again?
And between you and me, I’ve always found that Seraphim’s self-righteous act insufferable.
So here’s my advice: Push back when he speaks. Question every word. He’s not the boss of you, right?
Ernest is a towering astronaut who once worked in the space station's cargo hold. After being killed in the accident that starts the story, he reanimates shortly after the angels appear, possessed by an unknown primordial force. Ernest stalks the damaged halls of the space station, his massive frame and unnatural movements making him an imposing and deadly presence. His actions are erratic and malicious, his only goal is to stop the protagonist from continuing to speak with the angels.
His reanimated form is no longer fully human, and his once-familiar voice has been warped into one of despair and intimidation. Though his backstory is sympathetic, his relentless pursuit and violent nature make him a formidable and tragic enemy throughout the story.
Tone: A deep and unsettling voice, calm but very dangerous. Slight distortions or reverberations could emphasize his unnatural state if you have those editing abilities, otherwise can be added later.

There was never glory in mankind’s ambitions. Only hunger. Only rot. Do you think the angels don’t know that? Do you really think they’ll forgive us? (Rhetorical question, Ernest believes there is no forgiveness for mankind's actions)
You feel it, don’t you? That weight crushing down. It’s them, coiling tighter. They want to feed on the last of your lifespan.
Do you think they chose you by accident? A drifting, broken human in a dead ship? No. They smell weakness. They feed on it.
Despite the space station being heavily destroyed, the intercom system still functions and relays it's messages as the "AIO Station". This system plays prerecorded operational announcements and station updates related to the story.
The humans of the future are self-worshipping and operate as a globally unified empire. The AIO Station reflects that society mixed in with standard announcements.
