Angels In Orbit (2026)
Dontae M! for Ernest
Ernest is a towering astronaut who once worked in the space station's cargo hold. After being killed in the accident that starts the story, he reanimates shortly after the angels appear, possessed by an unknown primordial force. Ernest stalks the damaged halls of the space station, his massive frame and unnatural movements making him an imposing and deadly presence. His actions are erratic and malicious, his only goal is to stop the protagonist from continuing to speak with the angels.
His reanimated form is no longer fully human, and his once-familiar voice has been warped into one of despair and intimidation. Though his backstory is sympathetic, his relentless pursuit and violent nature make him a formidable and tragic enemy throughout the story.
Tone: A deep and unsettling voice, calm but very dangerous. Slight distortions or reverberations could emphasize his unnatural state if you have those editing abilities, otherwise can be added later.

There was never glory in mankind’s ambitions. Only hunger. Only rot. Do you think the angels don’t know that? Do you really think they’ll forgive us? (Rhetorical question, Ernest believes there is no forgiveness for mankind's actions)
You feel it, don’t you? That weight crushing down. It’s them, coiling tighter. They want to feed on the last of your lifespan.
Do you think they chose you by accident? A drifting, broken human in a dead ship? No. They smell weakness. They feed on it.
