Project Overview
Hey Everyone,
We're building a new YouTube channel focused on long-form narrative-driven content. Each episode will be approximately 30 minutes long and will follow different characters as they go on adventures and battle various obstacles. These episodes will take place in the hit game Among us. Utilizing machinima and 2D animation to push the story forward.
Our team has a decade of experience on YouTube, with over 20million subscribers across our other channels. Long story short, we live & breathe YouTube and have a track record of success on the platform.
We're looking for talented English-speaking voice actors to join us on this journey.
ABOUT THE EPISODE
In this episide, the main character is the prince of a kingdom that is usurped by his evil uncle. He must complete his adventures in order to win back his rightful place, meeting many interesting characters along the way.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
- Please submit clean recordings on prosumer mics
- Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favorite takes.
- Please submit your recordings as one .wav file. We will provide you with a Google drive after casting.
- We do occasionally ask for line re-dos, but we do this sparingly and only after great consideration - we realize your time is valuable, and we won't ask for anything we can't work around in edits.
- We're looking to cast people for multiple episodes and seasons. Please indicate you're available to work on this project for the long term.

The Old King is the main character's father, and is killed near the beginning of the episode. Should speak with a deep, commanding voice.
(grand) Welcome my son, today is a glorious day for our kingdom.
(surprised) Farkell? But you were supposed to be leading our armies?
(dying) Don't let our... kingdom be lost...
Farkell is the uncle of the main character. He kills the old king and takes over the kingdom. Should sound villainous, threatening, and commanding.
(angry, indignant) This kingdom belongs to me! Not some insolent boy.
(angry, self-righteous) I am your KING! Do not defy me.
(surprised) You? How did you survive?
Princess Elise is a princess from a neighbouring land. After the coup, she escapes and becomes a Robin Hood type thief, helping the people of the kingdom. She should sound confident and self-assured.
(regal, confident) It is a pleasure to meet you, your highness.
(threatening) Stay back, or you'll regret it!
(calmly) I am Princess Elise... and I am here to help you take back your kingdom.
The goblins are just that... goblins. Should sound deep and guttural, could have some subtle effects added to the audio to achieve this if necessary. May be needed to voice multiple goblins, so varying changes to the voice are an asset.
Oooh... we gonna get you good!
Heh heh... looks like meat's back on the menu!
What? What dat sound?
Tom is an older former guardsman of the king. He is a helper of the main character. Should sound a bit older, gruff, but loyal.
(surprised) Wait... I know that face!
(confident) That's right, we'll find it in the swamp.
(injured) I'll... survive. We need to finish this.
Beckett is a farmer that allies with the main character. He should have a deeper, rural sounding voice.
Welp... not to sure 'bout that.
We ain't got nothin' more to give!
Alright, I'll find the others who are willin' ta fight.
The Tax Collector is well-hated by the people. He is a lackey of Farkell and a minor villain. Can have a nasally, annoying sounding voice (don't go overboard)
If you cannot pay, we will take your farm!
The annoying miscreants must pay!
How dare you question King Farkell!
Smoke is a great and powerful dragon. The voice should sound deep and draconic, and some minor effects can be added to achieve this effect.
How dare you disturb me, mortal?!
Then let us play a game... of riddles.
