Project Overview
Hey Everyone,
We're building a new YouTube channel focused on long-form narrative-driven content. Each episode will be approximately 30 minutes long and will follow different characters as they go on adventures and battle various obstacles. These episodes will take place in the hit game Among us. Utilizing machinima and 2D animation to push the story forward.
Our team has a decade of experience on YouTube, with over 20million subscribers across our other channels. Long story short, we live & breathe YouTube and have a track record of success on the platform.
We're looking for talented English-speaking voice actors to join us on this journey.
ABOUT THE EPISODE
In this episode, the main character is put in a prison where secret experiments are being performed. He meets various characters from fellow prisoners, to the prison staff, to the scientists behind the experiments.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
- Please submit clean recordings on prosumer mics
- Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favorite takes.
- Please submit your recordings as one .wav file. We will provide you with a Google drive after casting.
- We do occasionally ask for line re-dos, but we do this sparingly and only after great consideration - we realize your time is valuable, and we won't ask for anything we can't work around in edits.
- We're looking to cast people for multiple episodes and seasons. Please indicate you're available to work on this project for the long term.

Duncan is a longtime prisoner who has been working on a plan to escape. He is middle-aged, and very smart, but after he is experimented upon he becomes more zombie-like.

"Hey there, guess you're my new cellmate. The name's Duncan. You get the top bunk."
"(whisper voice, but normal volume) What do you think we're doing? We're breaking out of here."
"(sounding strange and distant, like there's not much going on inside his head) What do you mean, breakout?"
Warden Flack is one of the villains of the story. He is authoritarian, cruel, and angry.

"Get those prisoners in line!"
"I won't have -anyone- questioning my authority."
"Get them under control, now!"
Hunter is one of the guards of the prison, and he is cruel and calculating, using the prisoners to his own ends.

"You heard the warden, get in line!"
"(cold, threatening) You don't want to get on my bad side."
"The prisoners are escaping!"
Nurse Kelly speaks with a soft and kind voice, and is seemingly one of the good people working at the prison. However, it is later revealed she is aware of the experiments going on in the prison.

"My name is Nurse Kelly. Don't worry, we'll fix you right up."
"There, now isn't that better?"
"(deceptively) Experiments? I'm not sure what you're talking about..."
Axel is a tough, intimidating long-time prisoner. He begins as something of an antagonist but later comes around to the side of the main character.

"(tough, threatening) Look here, this is my prison, and I'm the one calling the shots around here."
"(full of bravado) You think you can take me? Just try it!"
"Alright... I'll help. But when we get out of here, you're on your own!"
Director White is the lead scientist performing human experimentation on the prison inmates. The character is a cold, calculating person with no empathy for the prisoners.

"(suspicious, noticing a sound) Did you hear that?"
"(surprised) Wait, how did you...?!"
