I myself am no expert, and this project by no means will be perfect. I'll be using the free version of Capcut for PC, as its free and easy to use. I am no professional, and it may show in editing.
PLOT:
In a world where everything revolves around playing cards, including jobs, status, etc. things sure do get interesting!
After losing it all in a high-stakes game, main protagonist Tom Hutchinson must start anew, with a simple playing deck in his pocket. Filled with determination and resilience, Tom travels the country trying to build a name for himself, not wanting to go back to his old, dead end job and low status. If he was gonna do this, he was gonna do this HIS way. And he won't let anyone stand in his way who doesn’t play by his rules. On his path, he meets Erika Meadows, a well-known player, who agrees to help Tom, but it may come at a price. Facing new foes, meeting new friends, and everything in between, Tom is prepared to sacrifice it all once again if it means making it to the top.

Some things to note:
I myself, am a BIG procrastinator. I will not hide the fact that I have a bad habit of putting things off. But even if I lose motivation for sometime, this project won't be cancelled. I will be completely transparent with my cast members if there are delays, and I will not simply ghost everyone when motivation just ain't there. I will give it my all to make this project come to life.
This is also PILOT EPISODE CASTING !!! if none of these characters interest you, there may be more opportunities in the future <3
This is a web series, and will be posted either to my current youtube, or a whole new channel will be made just for the series. I am not too sure yet

While obvious tones, settings, plot etc won't be the same, this is the format i'll be using. Please be okay with this before auditioning.

With auditions slowing down, I may cast early. If I don't receive aton of auditions by roughly this time tomorrow, I will be casting early. The deadline has now changed to April 14th. This will make it easier for me to get out an Episode 1 CCC and get the pilot out as soon as i can!
Hi! I've noticed we've had ALOT of interest for Ace in the Hole, which is super super cool for me!! I didn't expect this many people to want to help bring my project to life!
If interest like this keeps up, I may shorten the deadline by a few days-maybe a week? This would allow me to make the pilot and get the episode 1 CCC up sooner! Don't worry, I'm not casting anyone til the deadline has passed :)

He is a resilient man, who will stop at nothing to make a name for himself in this world. He may be at rock bottom now, but he might have a few tricks up his sleeve.

Scotty is a supporting role
Tom's long lost best friend returns to try and aid him in his journey to the top. With his primal instincts, high end knowledge, and knowing the ins and outs of the riskiest games, he can aim Tom to his goal

Mike is a side role, and may not have alot to do in episodes
A kid making the dumbest decisions, acts first thinks later, and being higher rank then most of his friends, hes an insanely cocky character who will always think hes in the right.

Stan is a side role, and may not have alot to do in episodes.
Being a quiet, knowledgeable kid, he has what it takes to make it to the top, but chooses to remain on the lower end of rankings, mainly out of fear he'd have to leave his friends. Stan may poke fun at his peers, but would do anything for them.
Its where Mya would’ve ended up if she shook on this match

Erika is a lead role, who may have more to do in episodes than other characters.
Erika is a confident, self loving character, who loves to challenge those around her to low-stake games in hope of slowly building a name for herself without having to put it all on the line. Its a long path, but she's ready to walk every step of the way.

Elin is the sister of Tom, and loves to play the big-sister role. She loves caring for others, while also giving them a slap on the wrist when needed.
She may not have alot to do in the Pilot, but will play quite the role as the series continues.

Kate is a side role, and may not have alot to do in episodes.
Kate is a clueless but awesome addition to her group of friends. She likes to joke about peoples smartness, knowing damn well she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. She loves watching people play these card games, but never wanted to get into it herself.

Well...I don't know. I never really thought about being a player myself.
Mya is a side character, and may not have alot to do in episodes
Mya is VERY competitive, despite being in the lower ranks. Often being a sore loser, she finds herself being held back by her own attitude, and only lucked out being with her group of friends

Exactly as it says! You will narrate certain aspects and help set the scenes coming into play. You will have few lines per episode, but be VERY important!
This role is NOT gender locked; audition no matter who you are!!
Say something in your narrating voice! Could be as simple as a narrate of a TV show scene. Say whatever!
The main Antagonist of the series. You won't have alot to do in the pilot, but this will become a VERY important role in the future! This role is also NOT gender locked, and I'm willing to work the character around whoever auditions! So go nuts!
