ABSOLUTE SONIC
Driven to total desperation after his defeat at the end of Sonic Forces, the main game-universe Dr. Eggman turns to the dangerous energy of the Phantom Ruby. Through his research, he makes a groundbreaking discovery: the existence of the multiverse. Realizing the Phantom Ruby can reshape reality itself, he uses it to forge a brand-new timeline specifically engineered to strip the heroes of their core strengths while giving all villains a massive power boost creating the absolute universe.
In this new reality, Robotnik is a far colder, more calculating tyrant than his game counterpart. He begins his takeover by secretly engineering a lethal bio-virus that wipes out half of planet Mobius. Hiding his role behind the outbreak, he plays the ultimate savior by evacuating the survivors onto his massive space station, the Death Egg, and abandoning the dead planet below. Years later, the public idolizes him as humanity's hero, completely unaware that behind locked doors, he is conducting horrific cybernetic experiments and forcibly roboticizing citizens away from public view.
The Death Egg is organized into three strict social tiers:
Level 1 (The Lower Decks): The impoverished slums where Sonic lives with his grandpa, Uncle Chuck.
Level 2 (The Mid-Tier): The middle-class sector where Sonic’s best friend, Mighty, resides.
Level 3 (The High Life): The lavish top tier, where the elite live in luxury and look down on everyone else.
In the grim environment of Level 1, Sonic operates as a vigilante and Robin Hood-esque folk hero. He regularly pulls off daring heists against the wealthy elite of Level 3, stealing high-tech gear, food, and resources to distribute to the struggling citizens of the lower levels while defending them from corrupt guards.
During what is supposed to be a routine Robin Hood raid on one of Robotnik's high-security labs in Level 3, Sonic and Mighty sneak inside to snag advanced technology. Sonic grabs a pair of experimental high-speed shoes and gloves, but the heist turns tragic when they stumble upon the secret cybernetic lab discovering the horrific truth behind the virus and the roboticization experiments.
Before they can escape to expose the truth, security forces ambush them, and Mighty is killed in the battle. Barely escaping with his life, a grief-stricken Sonic equips his stolen high-speed gear and swears to avenge his best friend. Evolving from a street-level thief into a full-scale freedom fighter, Sonic sets out across the Death Egg to unite the lower levels, face off against the newly empowered villains, and bring down the regime once and for all.

Sonic the Hedgehog grew up cherishing the wide-open horizons, freedom, and boundless spaces of planet Mobius where he could run without limits. Everything shattered when a lethal bio-virus swept across the planet, wiping out half the population. Stepping in as a world savior, Dr. Robotnik evacuated the survivors onto the massive Death Egg and abandoned Mobius behind.
Trapped inside the cold, claustrophobic metal walls of the space station, society was split into strict social tiers. Pushed down into Level 1 (The Lower Decks) with his grandpa, Uncle Chuck, Sonic grew to deeply despise the Death Egg and the way Robotnik’s oppressive regime treats his people. He bitterly misses how everything used to be when he lived on Mobius, hating the sight of his friends, neighbors, and Uncle Chuck scraping by in the slums while the elite live in luxury on Level 3.
Operating out of the lower decks, Sonic acts as a street-level vigilante and a Robin Hood-esque folk hero. He refuses to let corrupt guards or rich snobs from Level 3 step on the lower-class citizens, regularly pulling off daring heists to steal food, supplies, and technology from the upper levels to support the struggling people below. Beneath his trademark wisecracks, sarcastic quips, and swagger, he carries the heavy emotional weight of a lost world and a stolen life.
His life takes an even darker turn during what is supposed to be a routine raid on a Level 3 research lab with his best friend, Mighty. While Sonic manages to steal a pair of experimental high-speed shoes and gloves, the heist turns tragic when they stumble into Robotnik’s hidden facilities. discovering the horrific truth that Robotnik himself engineered the virus to control the population and is secretly subjecting Mobians to painful cybernetic experiments.
Before they can escape with the truth, security forces ambush them, and Mighty is killed in the fight. Barely escaping with his life, a grief-stricken Sonic equips his stolen high-speed gear and swears to avenge his best friend. Evolving from a neighborhood thief into a full-scale freedom fighter, he uses his improvisational street combat and unbreakable willpower to unite the lower decks, fight Robotnik's empowered villains, and tear down the regime. No matter how heavy the burden gets, Sonic refuses to stay down, serving as the ultimate symbol of hope and rebellion for a world locked in a metal cage.

To the surviving citizens of Mobius, he appeared out of nowhere during their darkest hour, stepping in as a benevolent hero when a lethal bio virus wiped out half the planet's population. He evacuated the survivors onto his massive space station, the Death Egg, and left the ruined world behind earning the unquestioned worship of a desperate populace.
Years later, Robotnik remains an enigmatic figurehead, rarely seen by the public outside of carefully curated broadcasts. From the high-tech, isolated luxury of Level 3, he manages a strict three-tiered social class system while maintaining an unyielding grip on society. The public sees a quiet, brilliant savior, completely unaware of the shadowy horror unfolding behind his locked doors: Robotnik himself secretly engineered the virus and is subjecting innocent Mobians to horrific, painful cybernetic experiments away from public view.
When a lower-deck kid named Sonic first started causing trouble, Robotnik didn't care or pay him any mind viewing him as nothing more than a minor nuisance in the slums. But as Sonic began systematically dismantling his operations, stealing high-tech gear, and taking out his elite goons and empowered villains, Robotnik's indifference turned into dark fascination. Having sat bored at the top of the world with total control for years, he finally found a genuine challenge in Sonic and he absolutely loves every second of it.
Cunning, silent, and completely devoid of empathy, Absolute Robotnik operates in the shadows a terrifying enigma who built an empire on a colossal lie and now relishes the thrill of a dangerous game.

Tails was born right on the Death Egg, coming into the world without any tails at all. Growing up as a nameless orphan in the station's bleak lower levels, his life completely changed when Dr. Robotnik built a high profile orphanage a publicity stunt designed to polish his image as humanity's savior. Out of all the kids, Robotnik chose to adopt Tails, pulling him out of obscurity and into a world of privilege.
Ever since that day, Tails has practically worshipped Robotnik. Seeing the doctor as a heroic father figure, Tails grew up obsessed with following in his footsteps. He threw himself into mechanics and engineering, quickly becoming a brilliant young scientist desperate to earn Robotnik's genuine respect and approval. To compensate for what he was born without, Tails built himself a pair of high-tech robotic tails not just to fit in, but as a weaponized upgrade to prove his engineering genius.
When Sonic starts tearing through the Death Egg and taking down Robotnik's operations, Tails sees it as his ultimate moment to shine. Believing Sonic is just a villain trying to destroy the peaceful world his "father" built, Tails makes it his personal mission to hunt down the Blue Blur. He believes that if he can build the ultimate tech to stop Sonic once and for all, Robotnik will finally see him as a worthy heir and give him the validation he’s craved his entire life.

I-I ran the diagnostics three times, Doctor! The power routing is optimized, the shielding is reinforced—it's completely secure! You don't have to worry about the hedgehog breaching this sector again. I built these mechanical pods myself just to make sure our defenses are impenetrable.

Born into a thriving, warrior-bound Echidna tribe saved generations ago when his ancestor Tikal claimed the Master Emerald before the tribe could be wiped out—Knuckles and his brother, Kintoba, grew up in a culture defined by raw power, violence, and strict tradition. While Kintoba fully embraced the clan's ruthless nature, Knuckles deeply disapproved of their bloodthirsty ways and wanted to change things from within. He aimed to take leadership to reshape his society into something better and prove his own worth.
When their father fell gravely ill, he issued a final ultimatum to his sons: before his passing, one of them had to prove themselves worthy to inherit the mantle of chief. This sparked an intense, bitter rivalry between Knuckles and Kintoba as they clashed over the throne. The conflict culminated in a brutal, ritualistic duel for leadership. Knuckles fought valiantly, but Kintoba ultimately emerged victorious. Taking the crown, Kintoba dealt a ruthless punishment to eliminate any threat to his reign, banishing Knuckles from their ancestral island forever.
Cast out and stranded, Knuckles became obsessed with finding a way back to his homeland to reclaim the crown, prove his strength, and bring the reform his people desperately needed. Knowing the legendary Master Emerald held the ultimate power to grant him passage back to the island and force Kintoba and the tribe to yield, he set out on a desperate quest to find it.
His search eventually led him straight to Dr. Robotnik. Recognizing Knuckles' strength and burning ambition, Robotnik offered him a dark bargain: if Knuckles tracks down and destroys Sonic, Robotnik will hand over the Master Emerald. Driven by an unyielding desire to earn his glory, reshape his tribe's future, and reclaim his birthright from Kintoba, Knuckles accepted the deal and set out to hunt down the Blue Blur.

Born on Little Planet an isolated world inhabited entirely by women and protected under the wise leadership of Tikal Amy grew up trained in ancient magic and tribal combat. She spent her life under the shadow of the tribe's strict expectations, driven by a deep desire to prove herself as a true warrior worthy of her heritage. Alongside her best friend Sticks, a wild and fiercely loyal warrior woman, Amy mastered mystical arts and forged her signature weapon: a massive, heavy-hitting Piko Hammer with a sharp axe blade integrated into the back. Despite her formidable battle skills, Amy carries a compassionate heart, caring deeply for animals and innocent people, while dreaming of exploring the vast world beyond her home. However, Tikal strictly forbade off world journeys, maintaining that the universe was far too dangerous.
Everything changed the day Sonic arrived on Little Planet. Viewing the outsider as a potential threat, the women of the tribe immediately imprisoned him. But Amy saw past his rough exterior, believing he wasn't dangerous, and convinced the tribe to hear him out. Sonic revealed his past and his desperate mission to tear down Robotnik's oppressive regime.
Realizing that the entire galaxy was in danger, Amy saw this as both her calling to protect the innocent and the ultimate chance to prove what she was truly capable of. When Tikal hesitated to let her go, Amy stood firm, arguing that sitting idle would only allow Robotnik's dark empire to eventually consume Little Planet as well. Moved by her resolve and bravery, Tikal granted her blessing. Joining forces with Sonic, Amy set off into the stars armed with her magic and hammer-axe, determined to prove her worth and liberate the universe.

Born on planet Mobius before the bio-virus forced the survivors onto the massive space station, Mighty grew up alongside Sonic, sharing the same fond memories of open skies, green fields, and unrestrained freedom. When they were pushed into the slums of Level 1 on the Death Egg, he and Sonic originally teamed up as street-level vigilantes, pulling off risky thefts to keep the lower deck citizens fed.
As time went on, Mighty realized he was tired of running, stealing, and living in constant danger. Wanting a stable life where he could make a legitimate difference, he worked his way out of Level 1 and joined the Omegas the station's elite security force eventually rising to become a high-ranking Chief Officer in Level 2. Popular among the citizens and well liked for his fair, compassionate enforcement, Mighty embraced his new life of lawful order, viewing the Omegas as the legitimate organization keeping society safe. He constantly tried to convince Sonic to give up the vigilante lifestyle, step out of the shadows, and stop putting his life on the line. Time and again, Mighty used his rank and influence within the Omegas to clean up Sonic's messes and bail his reckless best friend out of trouble with the authorities.
Despite stepping away from the outlaw life, Mighty's loyalty to Sonic never faded. When Sonic approached him for help with one final raid on a high security Level 3 research facility, Mighty reluctantly agreed to step in and keep his friend safe. But the heist took a horrifying turn: instead of standard government operations, they stumbled directly into Robotnik’s hidden cybernetic lab exposing the terrifying truth that Robotnik was secretly corrupt and subjecting Mobians to painful robotic experiments.
Before they could escape with the truth, heavy security forces ambushed them. Mighty fought valiantly to cover Sonic’s escape, taking the brunt of the assault and falling in the firefight. Sonic was forced to flee believing his best friend was gone, but deep within the classified lower sectors of Level 3, the door remains open that maybe one day, Mighty will return.
