A Kiss for the Petals Remembering How We Met Fandub
Project Overview
The season is fall… as the uniforms transition from summer to winter garments, Risa suddenly has a pang of nostalgia. It was this very uniform she was wearing on her first day at St. Michael’s… The day she met her future girlfriend Miya.
WHAT IS THIS?
For those who don't know what this is it's a short all ages yuri visual novel that's tied to the A Kiss for the Petals Series. This is one of the few stories officially localized by MangaGamer and brought over to the west. As a big fan I wanted to give this series some more exposure so I decided to dub the first one I ever read . I have wanted to do for a long time not only as a big fan of the series, and this particular story I'm going to finally try now. Well I tried this a few years back but now have the ability to make this work. This dub will cover the whole story in a multi-part series that I plan to upload to .
GENERAL NOTES
A few notes to mention right off the bat:
1) This is a yuri story meaning a romance story between two girls, if that's not your thing you have been notified now so feel free to move along if you don't care for this type of story.
2) While this story is classified as all ages its more like 15+ for some references to sexual content. It's minor and rare mentions and nothing explicit but still if that is again not your thing feel free to move along.
AUDITIONING NOTES
1) Good Audio Quality - This Basically means having a good sounding mic with little to no background noise. It doesn't have to be professional grade microphones but still good enought that you can be clearly heard and again reducing external noise as much as possible.
2) Discord is Required - My method of communication is Discord. So you will need a discord for this project so I can get in touch with you throughout it. I will give my Discord privately in the CCC PM's when the time comes around.
3) Feedback - I will give feedback if you want it but let me know that you want it. PM me on CCC and I will provide it. I will also likely provide it if I have it. Though if you want it specifically PM me or you can even comment on the audition/project.
4) Voice References - The game is fully voiced in Japanese, that being said you don't have to base your audition on that. I openly invite different interpretations and variations to the role.
5) Deadline - I will not do casting until the around the time of the deadline, I also generally won't extend the project unless absolutely needed.
6) Availability - I will try to available for my crew as much as I can. I would respect similar treatment in kind. You don't have to be available every second of everyday but I would like to be able to readily able to reach.
7) This is Welcome to Everyone - By this I mean that you don't have to have read this story/ series or have a lot of experience with the series. Experience might help but I welcome anyone to try for theses role no matter your knowledge of this game.
8) Have Fun and Be nice - If you enjoy what your doing chances are you'll give a better job, so please keep comments civil and try not to stress. I want this to be a good project but I welcome all matter of people to try it out. And for those leaving comments on auditions I do ask you be respectful.

The had to be recast so the role is open back. I wanted to give the role a clean slate so this redo is labeled as its own role. If you auditioned for this role in the past you can do it again no problem. This is just to clean the slate. -
Main Character Casting
The two Main characters have been casted, thank you everyone for the auditions this was not by any means an easy choice you all gave me plenty to work with. To those who have yet to be casted. We still have extras left. I plan to give extra time to people on the extra roles. And of course their is also the dub editor for anyone who is interested. I will be extending the project till the roles are filled. However the best case scenario is casting extras in a week or two. Again thank you all you all did great and congrats on those who made it. -
Final Week Notification READ WHOLE THING
Alright the Final week and for this final week I want to make a few notifications as to whats going to go down. Just a few general things. 1) The project deadline will be extended if roles need to be filled. What this deadline indicates is the start of casting roles. 2) I will start rejecting roles, for those who auditioned multiple times DON’T PANIC, I am likely just rejecting your old auditions just to help narrow things down. So unless all your auditions are rejected, you are still in the running. 3) Definitive casting will start around Saturday, so up until that point i will just be doing rejections. So you have till about Saturday to get the roles in, reaudtions or just new, at least for the main characters. Anyway that is all for now, good luck to everyone.

Class Representative of the Year 1 "Snow" class, and a classmate of Miya's Has an earnest and hardworking personality. As a hard-nosed person, she often finds herself in leadership positions. She’s what you might call a high-class tsundere girl.
While she naturally does well academically and has common sense, whenever she gets into it with Miya, she always gets outreasoned and frequently stomps her feet. Having an unusually strong sense of shame, she gets flustered and briefly digs herself into a hole when thrust into a romantic relationship.
Risa is the primary main character meaning most of the story is from her point of view. So this role is the largest role by quite a bit.
Recommended Range - Medium to Highish
This is optional but a small introduction is always appreciated*
(Inner thoughts/ Narration) Obviously I like it... And she knows that, she just likes to tease me. Miya was the person I cherished above all else. But of course I could never tell her that directly. So I conveyed my feeling to her by gently squeezing her hand back.

A student of the Year 1 "Snow" class, and a classmate of Risa's. A prominent genius on campus, but has difficulty in social situations. Doesn’t really take issue with people other than Risa, and socializes as little as possible.
Her speech and behavior always keep others at a distance. She rarely shows her soft side and is unflappable. When she does show her soft side, she becomes timid and casts nervous glances from beneath her lashes.
Although you wouldn’t guess it from the way she talks, her behavior is actually quite ladylike. Possessing one of the most prominent intellects on campus, she has been offered the chance to study abroad and even skip grades, but she hates interacting with others, so she enrolled in the not particularly academically demanding school for high-class girls, St. Michael's.
Miya is the secondary main character in the story, she sometimes have scenes from her point of view its much less than Risa. Her role is still huge however being one of only two major characters.
Recommended Range - Medium to Lowish

(Serious and Somewhat Bored)Honestly... The girls are so simple.
I picked up my book from where I had left off. This was still a better way to kill time than sitting thorough those boring lectures. The lectures they give are completely worthless to me... The school I attended was what you might call a rigorous preparatory school. Compared to this place this school was obscenely casual. In terms of academics and personal relationships...
With unoriginal lessons and nothing to connect to emotionally, it was pure tedium. And besides... The only reason I came here was out of spite in the first place...
(Calm but Happy) Although I had chosen this school to spite my parents... ...now I was trying to find a place where I could fit in, in my own way. And I had a feeling I would find something even more wonderful. No... I think I may have already found it...

This is a visual novel so the job entails taking the lines and syncing it up to the text on screen. There images are static and don't animate so no need to worry about things like lip flaps. This is still a very important and crucial job to the projects success. The footage will be provided by me and I do want to try and work with you to help the process go along smoothly.
Along with an example of something you have done it would be appreciated if you wrote a bit about yourself nothing much just things like an introduction and a bit about your experience in editing. It's not required but helps me get a sense of you and your talents.
