A Collection Of 7 Short Creepypastas (NARRATORS NEEDED)
Project Overview
This is a project I hope to put together for my YouTube channel. I have been a YouTuber for 5 years and have done various types of videos. One of my primary ones are horror narrations. Creepypastas, horror subreddit stories, classic horror etc. I have been running a series the past few years known as 7 Micropastas To Keep You Up Tonight and have so far made 9 installments of the series. Now that I have reached my 10th, I figured I would do something special. Why not collaborate with other people for a great experience? People would assume I would just ask around the community for narrators to join since that is a common method of collabs in this genre of videos. But I'd like to give everyone a chance with this one. Being the hybrid content creator I am and knowing how many people in the VA community who could also make for an amazing video, I figured this would be a great way for me to put this project together. I hope to meet some new people through this and make this 10th installment something special.
For those who don't know, "micropastas" is a word used to describe short creepypastas that range 5 minutes or less. Why did I pick 7 at a time for this series? It's different lol For this project, I have all the stories picked out that I want to include for this special. And for each role included in this project, I will include the story that the narrator will be telling, the emotional delivery required to be given, and some excerpts from the story that includes the different emotions. There will be a total of 6 roles. The 7th one, obviously, will be mine. Each person including myself gets 1 story.
RULES:
- Like many projects on CCC, you will need a Discord so I can communicate with all of you at once. My Discord is MasterDK (David Kemp) #0383. Be sure to include it with your auditions if you want them to be counted.
- Be 18 or older. I just..work better with adults than kids/teens. For obvious reasons.
- Have a good microphone. No cheap mics like the one on your laptop of headset. Try and exclude background noise from your auditions as well. No one likes hearing a story being told with random noises in the background.
- This project is UNPAID. This project will be focused on experience and not money. Proper credit will be given to everyone in the project and will hopefully spread your talents to new people.
- I would like SERIOUS auditions, no goofing around with your recordings. As these stories are horror, they include serious situations and elements. Be natural about your delivery.
- Be respectful. I mean that's a given. No one likes working with assholes, so don't be one. I don't mind language and adult humor or anything in that ballpark, but let's try and respect each other in the making of this video.
I will be giving this project a month. I will move it accordingly if I do not have all the auditions. I may even close some roles before the deadline if I'm certain I found the right voice. I'll leave updates as I do so.
Without further ado, good luck to everyone.

1 Week Past, Already Impressed
Alright so we're one week in and honestly I think I already have in mind who is narrating each story at least for now. I'm still gonna give a majority of them until the deadline. Because who knows? I may be blown away even further. I do however feel like I have my 6th narrator so I will be closing the role. Everything else is still good for auditioning. Congrats to Invader 9 for getting cast as Narrator 6. You'll be doing 'The Girl In The Photograph"!
This is a story about a kid who provides evidence to prove a party clown innocent in court....but is the clown truly innocent?
(CONCERNED) "The cops had everything about the kidnapping of Joey wrong. Their prime suspect, Scooter the Clown was a well known children’s entertainer in town."
(DETERMINED) "“The balloons with the ransom note, they were filled with helium right?” I asked. “Scooter never had a helium tank there that day. He blew everything up by hand. Check his truck and you will see I am telling the truth.”
(SHOCKED) "As each one drifted into the sky, I realized just how wrong all of us were about Scooter."
This story takes place in Disneyland on the It's A Small, Small World ride, you know the one. It is told from the POV of a child who goes with his/her family on the ride and they're suddenly told by the operators to evacuate. The child looks at photos his/her mom took of the ride, to find a shocking image of a child hanging from the ceiling of the ride. This photo is included in the story and will be featured in the video. (Fake obviously)
(HAPPY AND CASUAL) "I was 12 at the time and my sister was 6. We loved every moment and our parents smiled with nostalgia."
(CONFUSED) "The staff wouldn’t tell us much as they quickly ushered us out of the building. Ambulances were outside and a police car was parked in the main walkway. "
(SHOCKED AND DISGUSTED) "This was the last photo on the reel, aimed at the ceiling at the attraction. "
This story tells of a hunter who takes shelter in a cabin for the night. The walls are covered in portraits of distorted faces...or so it seems. It turns out when he wakes in the morning, they were actually windows. This story is told from an outside perspective.
(CASUAL READING) "There was a hunter in the woods, who, after a long day hunting, was in the middle of an immense forest. "
(DARK SHIFT IN NARRATING TONE) "The next morning, the hunter awoke—he turned, blinking in unexpected sunlight. Looking up, he discovered that the cabin had no portraits, only windows. "
This disturbing tale is about a photo of a young girl in front of a swing set, captioned "Find Me", circulating the Internet. As time passes, the photo obtains new disturbing changes as the messages change from "Find Me", to "Please Find Me", to "Why Didn't You Find Me?"....to "I Found You". This story is told from an outside perspective.
(DARK READING TONE) "Circulating the internet through e-mails and pop-ups the girl was seen by millions but never found. One year to the day after the photo initially began its circulation the image returned to the internet. Text on the photo stated ‘Find Me’, but now the photo had changed. "
(DARKER TONE) "The fifth year the photo returned but now the girl was dead. Her body posed upright with a white flower tucked in her hands. The text on the photo read, ‘Why Didn’t You Find Me?’ "
This story is about a little girl coming to her father's room after having a bad dream. She reveals she can't tell him about the dream because the being wearing her mommy's skin will sit up.....too late.
This story is the shortest of the ones featured. Keep this in mind.
This story is told from an outside perspective, addressing the reader.
(CALM AND CASUAL READING) "“Daddy, I had a bad dream.”
You blink your eyes and pull up on your elbows. Your clock glows red in the darkness — it’s 3:23. “Do you want to climb into bed and tell me about it?”"
(DARK READING TONE) "For a moment, you feel paralyzed; you can’t take your eyes off of your daughter. The covers behind you begin to shift. "
A story about a boy who finds a photo of a girl lying in the street holding up a peace sign (two fingers). Stunned by her beauty, he asks around to find out who she is and gets no answer. The sounds of window tapping and a young girl giggling eventually lures him outside into the street, where he is killed by a car. The driver picks up the photo and sees the girl, now holding up 3 fingers. This story is told in an outside perspective.
(CASUAL READING) "He picked it up and smiled. It had a picture of the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. She had a dress with tights on and red shoes, and her hand was formed into a peace sign."
(DARK READING TONE) "He walked across the road, when suddenly he got hit by a car. He was dead with the picture in his hand."
