The galactic year is 5028. Gods wage war over the fate of the Milky Way, as its inhabitants fight for their right to live. The Soulless, thrall of the god, Hilos, threaten to wipe out all sentient life, while the Celestials, chosen of the gods Cleva and Solvemos, take the front lines to stop them.
William Ortell, a young man from Furelle is chosen as a successor to Vale, a powerful Celestial of years past whose magic was unparalleled. Together with his friends and the crew of the Blue Sparrow, he must fight against the clock to find a way to put a stop to this war once and for all, while also dodging the Soulless wishing to put a stop to him.
All the while, he struggles to learn his place in this vast galaxy as he untangles the skills of his predecessor, learning to be more than he was, and learning what it truly means to be a Celestial.
This project is currently only the prologue chapter of the audiobook, to make as a proof of concept, and to prove to my college that I'm up to the task of this work so that I can get funding for a more full production.
Pay for this single chapter will be $2 per line, with a minimum pay of $20.
The chapter will be posted to both Soundcloud and Youtube with credits given to all actors.
And the project has hit completion!
We'll be starting up a kickstarter soon to work on getting funding for the full thing (once we work out rewards and all that jazz), but for now, the Prologue premieres on August 9th at 12:00 PM P.S.T.

Finally feeling better and back to working! Currently midway through the music for the chapter. Should only need one more track and we'll be good! (Though it could take a little bit, this one's a long one)
Either way, once we're through with this, just gotta do some last tweaks and final mixing and we'll be good!
Halted production for a few days as I came down with the flu two days ago.
Gonna spend a few days to recover then hop back to writing that music. Sorry for the delay y'all!
All SFX have been completed! (Whew!)
Was interesting getting back in touch with editing sounds. A lot of what I do is a mix of free sounds for natural things (like wind and foley) and sounds I end up making myself (a lot of creature and tech sounds for example).
Either way, we're in the home stretch! Tomorrow night (and possibly Thursday as well) are days for music! Once we're through all that we'll be good to go into final edits and then we can release the demo!
Production has gone into full swing!
Voice lines have been added in and mixed for the demo. Background noise has been completed, and we're moving onto sound effects and foley, then lastly to music (my favorite part!).
Once all that's done, we do a final check, see if there's anything that needs last minute touch ups, such as for sound quality, and we'll be on our way to release!
A chipper 14 year old young man who disregards the rules. He's curious and energetic, but inexperienced with the ways of the world. As a teen, he has an excitement in his voice, but has a softer, smoother tone. Is the main character of the Audiobook, but this particular role will only be in the prologue before he is aged up.

(Terrified, in denial) Soulless? But... Weren’t they only in the Republic territory? What are they doing here? Where are the Celestials? The Federation?
William's childhood best friend. She's a tomboyish young woman with a knack for cautious exploration. After the invasion of her homeworld she goes on to join the military. She has a touch of a southern lilt, but not a heavy one, and a slightly lower voice. This role would be more permanent.
Leeet meee gueessss… it was another old, crusty, Furin (Fyur-in) temple?
(Concerned) My pa says that stuff’ll turn you into one of them…
The least I can do is make sure you don’t get yourself in too much trouble.
An older Furin (Fyur-in) man who discovers William and Maurel in an old temple. He tasks himself with returning the two to their home. He is a gruff old man with a grumbly, disgruntled, but wise voice. Think an old, tired, somewhat melancholic war vet.
(Soft, but forceful) The dead should be left to their lives beyond.
(Reminiscing) That one was married. You can tell by their marks,
It is dangerous here. Come. I will take you back.
The father of Maurel Illani. Though his role in the story is short, he had an impact on William's early life. He is warm in the sort of "Southern Charm" kind of way.
Alright son, you know there’s no need to lie to me.

Small role. A pilot evacuating the citizens of Furelle to Draenica. He's afraid of what may become of the planet, and it's clear that the war has taken a toll on him.
