My dream and vision is to become an actor, not for the fame or money, but because someone once told me that an actor is only successful if they can establish at least one connection with someone in their audience. I know the road ahead of me is bound to be filled with rejection and obstacles, and I accept that, because it is what I choose to do. I want to bring characters and stories to life, I want to be the person that they root for or root against, to bring such an intense emotion to people when they see or hear my performance that it moves them in some way. I'm a performance poet, a musician, a storyteller, an events host, an accidental voice actor, Artistic Director for Spoken Word at PBH’s Free Fringe, and an enormous geek. During weekdays, I persuade people to make lists and say no to shiny things. For every role, there is a different hat, and a spreadsheet to match. My first full poetry collection, Spectral, came out with Burning Eye in March 2022, and I describe it as “a kind of poetry concept album, with illustrations”.
In 2017, I fell into voice acting, partly on a dare, not realising that this one-off recording for a friend would end up turning into a recurring main cast role on cult horror drama podcast The Magnus Archives, where I played the very troubled (and troubling) Daisy Tonner.
