BLUE HOUR — PRIYA NAIR FINAL CALLBACK

Thank you for auditioning for Priya. I really liked what you brought to the character, so I'd like to invite you to a final callback.

Please perform the lines naturally rather than giving them a stereotypical "military" delivery. Priya is experienced, calm and highly capable. She doesn't need to raise her voice to sound like she knows what she's doing.

1 — Calm / Medical

"Look at me. You're okay. Keep breathing normally and let me work. Jack, give me another minute with her."

2 — Tactical / Focused

"Rear room is clear. I'm moving up. Koval, don't outrun me—I can't treat you if you're three rooms ahead."

3 — Pressure / Medic Takes Control

"Everybody back up. Now. Jack, I need space and I need that hallway covered. I've got her."

4 — Concern for a Teammate

"Ray, talk to me. Don't give me 'I'm fine.' I know what fine looks like."

5 — Quiet Character Moment

"You know what nobody tells you about this job? The quiet afterward is sometimes harder than the call."

Feel free to give me multiple takes if you hear the lines differently, but one strong take of each is completely fine.

This will be the final callback for Priya Nair. I'm looking mainly for believable emotion, natural delivery, and the feeling that Priya has worked beside these people long enough to know them personally.

Priya Nair is Sacramento Metro SWAT's tactical medic and a major recurring character in BLUE HOUR: Sacramento.

Priya is a former Army medic from San Jose. She is highly competent, intelligent, direct, and difficult to rattle. When someone is injured, Priya takes control immediately. She doesn't need to raise her voice to make people listen.

Away from emergencies, Priya is considerably more relaxed. She knows her teammates extremely well, has a sharp sense of humor, and isn't afraid to call them out when they're being idiots.

We are looking for a natural adult female performance capable of switching between warm everyday conversation and calm medical authority. Priya should never sound like a stereotypical soldier or emotionless medic.

Performance style: grounded, confident, intelligent, conversational and emotionally believable. Natural reactions and imperfections are encouraged.

This is a recurring character beginning with the FIRST LIGHT playable demo.
