I know you said you're using AI to help with the game and code but not the voice acting. As long as that stays the same, I'm good, but AI's my one big thing - I won't consent to my voice or likeness being used for AI training or cloning or anything of that nature.

Yeah absolutely. I completely understand and respect that. I won't use your voice or likeness for AI training, cloning or anything like that. I use AI to help me with the coding and development side of the game, but I want real actors doing the characters.

And yeah I definitely want to move forward with you as Halverson. I really liked your audition and what you brought to him.

Erik Halverson is a veteran member of Sacramento Metro SWAT and a recurring character in BLUE HOUR: Sacramento.
A former highway patrol officer, Halverson is disciplined, observant, and dependable. He's particularly strong at rear security, logistics, and noticing the small things other people overlook. He's quieter than some members of the team, but that shouldn't be mistaken for being cold.
Underneath his reserved personality, Halverson genuinely cares about his teammates. He usually shows that through actions rather than speeches.
We are looking for a mature adult male voice with a restrained, natural quality. A slightly rough or weathered voice can work well, but avoid the exaggerated gravelly action-hero sound.
Performance style: understated, deliberate, calm, dry and believable. Halverson doesn't waste words.
This is a recurring character beginning with the FIRST LIGHT playable demo.
