"The vocalist of 'Melody Rhythm', a popular music duo. Hibiki always performs alongside her guitarist twin sister, and the two of them enrolled at Hope’s Peak at the same time. She cares about her sister, Kanade, but often treats her harshly due to her “older sister” complex. Furthermore, she may also harbour some feelings of jealousy and inferiority towards her twin. Hibiki always claims that the way she treats her sister is a joke, but does Kanade feel the same way..?"
Director's Notes
Hibiki is, in many ways, the traditional "bratty young girl" character. She acts cutesy most of the time, but can be mean and aggressive towards those she dislikes. This behaviour is seen most prominently through her interactions with her sister. The actress cast must be able to convincingly show both the sweet side and the sour side of Hibiki's personality.
Voice
Original VA: Ram (CV.Ishihara Kaori)
As stated, Hibiki should have the traditional anime brat voice. It should be High pitched and very cutesy, but harsh and biting when she's angry. She is quite an emotional person, so emotional range is mandatory. Singing ability is a definite plus, but not a requirement.
*NOTE*: If there is an actress capable of portraying both Hibiki and Kanade, that is a definite plus. However, taking on this dual role is 100% optional, and if no one is capable of or wishes to do both roles, the twins will be cast separately.
