Unpaid
Role assigned to: Maiden Melody

The other protagonist of the musical (and the one who it's named after), Chara is a bit snarky and at first mistrustful, helping Frisk out of obligation since they're stuck together,  She really opens up to Frisk over time however, and begins to see her almost as a sibling.

Also, since she and Frisk are main characters and thus there's a good amount of interaction, be prepared to sing a few songs. After all, the musical has her namesake—or rather, role-sake.  As Chara is in a large percentage of the songs, a wide range is good, and be aware that there is one song in particular that Chara gets that is pretty high. So keep that in mind when auditioning!

  • (Just before Flowey sings in Your Best Nightmare, right after Frisk asks for advice on beating Omega Flowey) Yeah, I've got advice: Try not to die.

  • You have everyone, Frisk. Who do I have?!... (sighs) You have people who love you... and care about you... They don't even know I exist, you're the only one who can see me...

  • (Sing any song - see description for specifics)

Another Go! Child fan! :D Wasn't expecting to see one of their songs used in an audition! You held out the notes well and you didn't sound like you were out of breath or anything, so it sounded good! As for the lines I feel like the second half of line 2 was your best one. :) Thanks for auditioning!

Oh wow! Haha thank you so much! I've never really had anybody give their opinions on lines before, but I would definitely agree on the second half of line 2 sounding the best. And I might be auditioning for Monster Kid sometime soon, so be on the lookout for that! :D

I try to give comment on the lines too—after all, a musical isn't just singing. :) 'll be keeping an eye out for your Monster Kid audition!
